The Love Nest is made for the two of youYou step out of the car and the first thing you notice is the quiet, broken only by birdsong or the rustle of leaves. The Love Nest sits tucked away, exactly the kind of spot you need when all you want is time alone together. In the evening you sink into your own wood-fired hot tub on the terrace, looking up at a sky full of stars you never see back home.

Surrounded by Drenthe's natureNearby lies Nije Hemelriek, a former sand quarry that has turned into a striking little nature spot with clear water and banks made for daydreaming. National Park Drentsche Aa and the Gieten-Borger forestry are just around the corner too, with miles of walking and cycling trails leading straight into the woods. If you prefer a bit more adventure, the rolling Drenthe landscape also offers plenty of mountain biking routes.

A real escapeSpend the day wandering through the forest, then head back to your own place for a glass of wine by the fire or under the stars. No schedule, no phone pulling your attention away, just time for each other. That is what The Love Nest is all about: a place to disappear to, and find each other again.
