About this property

Forest-view home with complete quiet

It’s quiet here in a way you can really feel. No traffic noise, no electrical hum—just the sounds of birds and trees. Large windows running the entire length of the house face the trees and nature, and there are no fences or neighbors to obstruct the view. The house was completely renovated in 2025–26 and is fully insulated for year-round living, featuring triple-pane windows, radiant floor heating, and a heat pump.

The style is simple and personal, featuring natural materials, muted colors, and a mix of new and vintage furniture chosen to complement each other aesthetically. There’s plenty of space around the dining table, various seating options, pillows, and blankets, as well as good lighting for reading, cooking, and board games.

The patio has room to sit at the table or in comfortable chairs, and you can choose between sun and shade. Butterflies and dragonflies flit about in the garden. Three bicycles are available for free, and the Tibirke Hegn forest area is within walking distance. The beach at Stængehus is a 4-kilometer bike ride along a forest trail.

The town and harbor of Hundested offer shops, restaurants, crab fishing, and a sand sculpture festival. Lynæs Harbor features surfing, a beach, and restaurants. The area has farm stands like Lerbjerggård with organic vegetables, the Tothaven visitor farm with plenty of animals, and numerous thrift stores and antique shops. Liseleje and Tisvilde are easily accessible by car.

This place was designed with care, offering plenty of space to enjoy the nature surrounding the house. It’s a place filled with warmth, beauty, and respect for its surroundings. We stayed at the house over a rainy weekend, and that didn’t make the experience any less magical. Thank you for letting us stay at your wonderful house.

A fantastic stay in the most wonderful vacation home, with so much character and space for togetherness, coziness, and warmth. We enjoyed a few wonderful days, with plenty of games and cozy moments on the terrace—where we could listen to the birds and the rustling of the treetops. The vacation home has everything you need to slow down and just be together. There was a wonderful guide waiting for us upon arrival with recommendations for activities and more—we highly recommend it.
