The open floorplan, two fieldstone fireplaces, and huge windows and doorwalls make you feel you are outside with the comforts of home. Crystal Mountain, the Sleeping Bear Dunes, Lake Michigan beaches and fun cities like Frankfort and Traverse City are within 35 miles. Northwestern Michigan provide many biking and walking paths. The white sandy coastline of Lake Michigan is breathtaking and very accessible to visitors. Rivers provide kayaking, tubing and fishing opportunities. Iron Fish Distillery is within walking distance. Many scenic wineries around Traverse City offer excellent local wines for tasting. Traverse City's Cherry Festival in July is nationally acclaimed with over 150 family activities. The place was beautiful! And a nice ticked away home for privacy. Terry was easily contacted and easy to work with. We had a great time. Only problem was we were there to fish but the area was flooded. We enjoyed our stay, regardless.

Quiet, comfortable, very spacious, and very well-furnished and equipped home, tucked away in the woods along the river. Easy, short drive to Crystal Mountain. There is a big deck with several seating areas; the pictures really don't do justice to the place.
