Restored dovecote -15% discount until end of August

The dovecote is in an old Charentaise farm on a 30 ha property. This Charentais home is atypical in the sense that it is 'open' to the countryside (no high walls closed around the buildings).
The dovecote is close to the owners' house.
Arranged on 2 levels, it includes: on the ground floor a main room with kitchen, living room (fireplace and 1 bedroom (2 beds 80cm or 1 bed 160cm), with shower room and wc. Upstairs, 1 bedroom (2 90cm beds or 1 180cm bed) with also its bathroom and wc.
Equipment for the little ones is available on request: cot, bath, booster ...
TV, WIFI.
Terrace to enjoy an outdoor lunch, a barbecue and a 1000 m2 garden.
The dovecote is appreciated because Jean and Marie-Anne have combined respect for old stones, comfort and modernity during the restoration of the building.
Located 1km from the village of Mouthiers, the latter owes its charm to its washhouses on the Boëme, the 12th and 13th century church, the Logis de Forge gardens ... Walks in the Boëme valley (Natura 2000 site) or in the old peat bogs.

Petit séjour au pigeonnier pour nos 20 ans de rencontre

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour au gîte. Bravo à Jean pour son travail, il a gardé l'authenticité du lieu, décoré avec beaucoup de goût et de raffinement. On s'y sent bien, comme chez soi. Le gîte est équipé comme il se doit, la propriété est magnifique et superbement entretenue. De belles promenades y sont proposées. Jean a préparé des circuits pour se balader. Merci à lui pour son accueil très chaleureux (comme l'endroit d'ailleurs), pour ses précieux conseils pour les visites, les restos et sa disponibilité pour les renseignements éventuels. A bientôt pour de nouvelles découvertes dans les environs. 3 jours, c'est trop court 😁. Bonne continuation dans les futurs projets.

Gite plus qu’agréable, atypique et de bon goût. Et pour couronner le tout, Jean, le propriétaire nous a formidablement accueilli sur ce domaine fondé par ses grands-parents et a su nous prodiguer de précieux conseils pour les excursions et activités environnantes. Un havre de paix

Tout ce qu'il faut pour un séjour relaxant : les petits chemins dans la forêt, un logement parfaitement équipé et confortable. Dormir dans un pigeonnier est une expérience très romantique. Merci pour l'accueil parfait et pour la discrétion.

Jolie pigeonnier où il fait bon roucouler

Il y a d'abord l'accueil de Jean Garin propriétaire des lieux, qui vous dit tout pour passer un bon séjours et vous fait découvrir le "brûlot charentais "... Le pigeonnier est superbement rénové par Jean avec 2 belles chambres et leur salle de bain très moderne , au rez de chaussé la salle commune avec une grande cheminée et tout le confort moderne .C'est aussi un havre de paix au milieu des champs et près des bois .
