Modern Country Classic Holiday Dream Home

Our 2-week stay in this home was truly fabulous in every way. The home is large, spacious, and gorgeously appointed. It is a visually pleasing blend of historic wood and stone; the funiture is harmonious and comfortable; and there is every modern convenience. There is cozy loft sitting space on the second floor that gives the house special beauty and charm, and the outdoor back porch/eating area is breathtaking. The owners keep two pet donkeys in a large pasture behind the house. The gentle, friendly donkeys add an extra layer of fun, and a day does not feel complete wiithout giving them a treat of lettuce, carrots, or apples. Our hosts Catherine and Michel are kind, interesting, helpful, and very solicitous hosts. They will take good care of you to help you have the best possible experrience! My husband and I have stayed in many VRBO properties, and this home, together with Catherine and Michel, will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Heel fijn huis, bed en op heerlijke rustige locatie. Vooral genoten van het terras achter met uitzicht op de sterren en vriendelijk grazende ezeltjes. Heel gastvrij ontvangen door de overburen. Let op! Foto’s impliceren een bad. Dat is er niet. Wel fijne douches, meerdere badkamers dus ideaal voor familie of met vrienden.

Superbe séjour en Bourgogne!

Ce fût une magnifique expérience. Nos hôtes furent très acceuillants et souriants. Ils nous ont parfaitement informés sur le gîte et sur ce qu'il y a à voir et à faire dans les environs. Une abondante documentation est disponible directement dans le gite, et notamment une description des promenades dans les environs directs du gîte. Très beau gite, spacieux et chaleureux. Du bois (bien sec, de qualité) pour la cheminée est disponible sur place. La location est entièrement close et notre (gros) chien a pu profiter du magnifique jardin et faire la connaissance des ânes à l'arrière du gîte, c'est top. Bon à savoir: un deuxième frigidaire avec une partie congélation était disponible dans la buanderie, ce qui nous a bien aidé. Je recommande absolument, les yeux fermés. Merci pour tout, j'espère que nous aurons l'occasion de nous revoir!

Hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub. Das Haus ist groß, sehr sauber und komplett eingerichtet. Die Küche ist in Bezug auf Geschirr, Pfannen usw. sehr komplett. Ein wunderschöner Weber-Grill, eine schöne Terrasse mit Blick auf die Sonne. Überall Rollläden, die die Hitze sehr gut abhalten, sowie überall Moskitonetze an den Fenstern. An sich kein unnötiger Luxus, da es relativ viele Fliegen gibt. Bringen Sie Fliegenklatschen und Anti-Fliegenspray mit! Empfangen von der Putzfrau (?) Isabella bei der Ankunft. Er spricht nur Französisch, was etwas schwierig war. Köstliche Flasche Chardonnay Brut im Kühlschrank. Das WLAN ist sehr gut (besonders für französische Verhältnisse)! Der Garten ist wunderschön, die Esel (Voltaire und Annais) sind super süß und kümmern sich nicht um Hundegebell. Der Garten ist eingezäunt. Das Haus hat viele Treppen und Stufen. Die Gegend ist wunderschön, es gibt schöne Städte zum Besuchen und eine wunderschöne Natur. Supermärkte um die Ecke. Vielleicht noch 2 Sonnenliegen für den Garten? Zum Liegen haben wir 2 Luftmatratzen mitgebracht. Hatte wunderbares Wetter. Im Dorf und in der Umgebung läuft ein großer Pyrenäen-Sennenhund frei herum; bellt viel und laut, scheint aber harmlos zu sein... Außerdem hatten wir zwei tolle Wochen. Zusamenfassend; ein absolutes Muss!!

Met 8 fietsvrienden in de Bourgogne

We hebben het zeer naar onze zin gehad. De verhuurders waren aardig en op alle vlakken behulpzaam. Het enige minpuntje was de kwaliteit van de wifi, maar ook daar viel wel mee te leven. En ... er lopen op het terrein twee lieve ezels rond, die graag contact maken met de gasten.

Het huis is ruim, goed ingericht en goed onderhouden. De ideale plek om in luxe tot rust te komen. Het ligt in een zeer rustige omgeving met uitzicht op de natuur. Gastvrouw Catherine is zeer gastvrij en vriendelijk. Zij helpt graag bij eventuele vragen over de omgeving. Onze groep heeft genoten van de rust in luxe.
