The cabin was beautiful! The scenery was gorgeous. Peaceful and quiet. Cabin was clean, stoc ked wigh surprising extras. We stayed for a family wedding 5 mins away. Will definately go back for our own personal get away.
This is not just a house to stay for a night but a great artwork of the owner. The place has blended beach culture with mountain one and made us feel so relaxed.
We had a great 2 nights at this very private and amazing log house. My family loved it right from the road in and how beautiful it was. You can tell that great care has been put into this house.
This home is a labor of love and absolutely beautiful. Very clean and perfectly situated. Made for a great unplugged getaway.

Liked: Cleanliness, location
Disliked: Communication
Not able to use fireplace or sauna, had to pack out all food and trash.Understand that Squamish had a no fire season, it would be helpful to include in your overview of property. Tried communicating with manager multiple times over a month ?
This place was off the beaten path and offered ample privacy ina rustic but well furnished and aesthetically lovely setting. There is not a microwave or tv and the internet is spotty. Also there was a power outage for a few hours and when the power goes out, the water does too. It is a perfect spot for a romantic getaway and there are bountiful opportunities to hike and clomb nearby.
The log cabin was perfect for our short stay during a major rainstorm. We were dry and warm and quite comfortable after a wet day on the river. I plan to come again.
We stayed at de Cabane for a family ski trip to Whistler and loved the home. It is a unique and beautiful property! Martin was responsive and easy to deal with.
This place is gorgeous! Amazing views, super clean and beautifully designed. Martin had great communication, the area is super quiet and the place had everything we needed. The only thing to note is that the upstairs bedroom is actually a loft. It’s quite big but there could be privacy issue depending on who you bring. I highly recommend this place!!
We enjoyed the stay very much.Da Cabane met our expectations. The location and the view are a dream .
The communication with Martin has worked perfectly.
The only ad we would have liked a few more towels and a bit more dishes.
Absolutely recommended!
Beautiful cabin in beautiful surroundings. Very quiet. We couldn’t find the trail down to the lake unfortunately and feel it should have been marked but was a pleasant overnight stay
Stayed there to do rafting trip at the outfit right down the road. Cabin is cool with a lot handmade touches. It is out of the way, about 22 mins from town. 15 mins from a breakfast place. Directions sent to us got us there no problem.
Really don't know what I can add that hasn't already been said. Cabin lives up to description and then some. Fantastic setting that is very accessible but feels remote. True wilderness is just up the road providing some spectacular vistas from the shores of the Squamish River.
My husband and I stayed here after a week in Vancouver. Host was very easy to communicate with and had thought of everything. The fireplace was my favorite part of staying in. It was the perfect mini getaway from city life with gorgeous views. I couldn't stop taking photos - it was all so pretty! Host
Great spot. Quiet place in the woods. We had clear skies for 2 days and had excellent views. Wi-Fi worked great. Great direction to the cabin. Utilized the hot sauna for a couple days. Thanks for sharing your cabin.
