5A Ocean Queen is a directly oceanfront 4 story townhouse, 4 bedrooms, 4 baths. This Tybee Town House Rental has a 6 person hot tub and wonderful views! This home is an end unit with windows also facing north for wonderful views of the beach including the Atlantic Ocean and maritime traffic from all over the world passing by to enter the Savannah River's channel.
At night the twinkling of lights several miles offshore are actually ships that are anchored offshore awaiting their entry to the Savannah Port. To your left, you also can see Hilton Head's skyline at night…quite a treat. Watch the pilot boats lead the ships from all over the world into and out of port. The international shipping channel is called “Tybee Roads” where the ships come from the Atlantic Ocean before heading down the Savannah River to port with cargo from all over the world. Savannah's port is one of the busiest in the country and a major force of this area's economy.
The new upscale furnishings invite you to live in luxury with surround sound in the living area and a large flat screen television in high definition.
Relax and enjoy a spacious and well-appointed living area with wood burning fireplace.
Dining table for 8 plus a dine on bar for 3. Gourmet kitchen with 2 ovens and built in ice maker at the new bar…all overlooking the beach and ocean. Or you may wish to dine out on your patio or walk from your patio to the beach.
BEDROOM 1-The king bedroom with sitting area on the third floor has a TV, private bath with double vanity and oversize bubble jet tub combined with shower. The large balcony has a patio table seating for 4, 2 lounge chairs for sunning and a 6 person hot tub. The views from this bedroom are wonderful and the balcony views are even better!
BEDROOM 2-Retreat into 5A Ocean Queen's king suite bedroom on the top (4th) floor with additional seating, television and private balcony.
Your private bath has a large dressing area, double vanity and combination shower/tub.
BEDROOM 3-The third bedroom has 2 queen beds, television and another private bath. The ocean views are wonderful from the bedroom (3rd floor). The bath has combination shower/bath.
BEDROOM 4-The fourth bedroom is on the living room level (2nd floor) of the home. There is a full bath with shower adjoining this queen bedroom with comfortable seating and another television. Enjoy the views of the Atlantic Ocean from this room as well.
Bonus room-Single over double bunk bed plus full over full bed (sleeps 6).

Nice Property - Could Use a Little Refresh

Overall, we had a nice stay at this lovely property. The location is really good - just off the beach, which we enjoyed. The space is as described - lots of rooms (many en suite) which made it really nice for our two families to spread out and have space. Just a note that this is really a townhome (shared outdoor walkway with two other units), and there are lots of stairs inside the unit. The house itself could use a little sprucing. It was not particularly well stocked relative to other VRBO homes we've rented. Our biggest issue was that there were no blackout curtains, or even a basic attempt to block out the light in the bedrooms facing the ocean. The sun would blast in through the very thin drapery every morning. Make sure you bring eye masks if you stay here. Additionally, there were several items that were damaged/broken. A few of the dining chairs were pretty rickety - and one was simply broken and unuseable - which we learned the hard way. The kitchen cabinet doors are a little wonky, and the kitchen faucet was a bit broken as well (though we could still use it - no problem). So overall, a nice stay, but the property definitely needs a little upgrade.

Great unit for a family vacation.

The house is great. There were only 9 of us, so there was an abundance of space. The views are amazing. We really liked the neighbors. They made us feel at home.

Great location, Tybee is great! House needs help.

All dishes and pots and pans were dirty and the shower in the guest room on second floor does not work. Lots of steps.

Hail to the Ocean Queen!

This home was perfect for our family get together. We enjoyed the large open kitchen and living space with plenty of room to cook, eat, and hang out. The covered deck overlooking the beach has big comfy furniture to chill and listen to the waves. The ocean views are amazing from almost every room. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone to have privacy. We enjoyed the sauna on the deck with a fantastic view of the ocean. The location on north beach is perfect. It’s fun to watch the cargo ships coming and going. Truly a wonderful experience for our family get away.
