As a family of five, we had plenty of room to spread out. The older kids walked to the main square on their own. Convenient location to Palo Duro Canyon - we went every day of our visit! The museum at West Texas A&M is a great stop also. We look forward to coming back.
This property has many beds, all the amenities, and is easy to find. Very comfortable. We had 80+ grandparents with us, and they enjoyed how there are few stairs.
Place was great and had plenty of beds for all of us. Quick drive for the college graduation. Popcorn Co was cool! We got several different kinds of popcorn. Thank so much!
The house was super convenient. We walked to the coffee shop everyday….. a few times 😜 Multiple options for eating close too. The house held lots of bike racers and Palo Duro was a quick 15min drive- Walmart right on the way to grab what we forgot!!!
We have stayed at this property many times and love being close to the square and the University. It’s cozy but yet everyone can spread out and have room to relax. The host is amazing and are always quick to respond with any questions or needs we would have.
As promised this home was perfect for my stay. I had plenty of room to spread out, do my work, and relax. I spent hours trying to decide how the "original" home was laid out. I am still not sure. And that, I LOVE. A rambler with space for many people. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Peaceful.
Cute updated vintage home. Very clean. Lots of beds. Fun kitchen. Cookware not adequate for us. Enjoyed our stay very much. Close to downtown and not real far from Palo Duro Canyon.
This place was so quirky and cute, yet had all the modern conveniences! I think it may be the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed. Bed was comfy and it was so quiet. We would definitely stay there again.
We stayed with a group of older family members. The bedroom arrangement was perfect for this group as we had couples and older single women. The house is well stocked and an easy walk to the Canyon square. We ate at the Taco Joe's and it was excellent. The house is old as advertised but the amount of space makes up for the older ambiance.
Charming old house in a great location to shops and restaurants
The house was so accommodating with multiple bedrooms and living areas. The kitchen was big and had everything we needed. The owners do a nice job of setting our expectations that the house has old charm and character, which we appreciated. We really liked that we could walk to the town square where there were cute little shops and restaurants. A great value I think for nice accommodations!
Convenient to Palo Duro, had everything we needed.

Great old property
Great place to stay and close to Palo Duro State Park, which we visited all four days of our stay there. Easily accommodated seven people in our party. It is an old house but well kept. Only grip is the kitchen and bathroom amenities were not very well stocked. Kitchen had aluminium pots that looked as old as the house, and not very safe to use. When we asked Susan to provide some additional pots, she got more of the similar old aluminium pots. Bathrooms were not well stocked with soaps & shampoos.

This house needs attention
It was not clean
Safety issues - CO detector is at top of wall should be 12-18" off the floor.
Shower door has no latch
Sliding bathroom door falls off track
Some dining room chairs are unsafe to sit on
Oven racks were in backwards, we corrected
Appears to be possible mold on bottom of wall on south porch bedroom
Was not told the porch bedrooms had NO heat source except to leave doors open
Front walk was not shoveled, snow packed and icy. One guest had a broken leg and had to manuver through the the snow.
Home is at great location, clean and was perfect for our family. Kitchen stocked with what supplies you need, beds are comfortable and hosts are very pleasant to work with.
Easy walk to town square to coffee shop. Near the Palo Duro Canyon State Park for wonderful hikes. Would also recommend taking time to hike in Caprock Canyon which is about an hour away.

One block away from Canyon's quaint downtown shops and eateries, along with the Canyon Library, Fire Department, and Police Station, in addition to most of the area churches.
