About this property

We love our newly renovated house and we love our Guests! Come to the Iron Shore House and feel the rhythm! Great for anyone who wants to experience a real Caymanian vacation experience. Divers, water sports, travelers on a budget, adventure enthusiasts.

Each room and section of the house is different. All have a Caribbean flair and are well equipped.

All rooms have access to a shared kitchen in their section. Outdoor patio areas.

Free use of snorkel gear and Beach Towels .

We have numerous herbs, spices, fruits and vegetables planted, check with our gardener Calvin what is available.

We will help guide you on your stay in Cayman and make suggestions to make the most of your trip (and stay affordable). Local phone is available, we do ask for a 50.00 US deposit.

Amazing spot on the island

The location of this property while not right on the beach was fantastic. Very close to the beach and a more quiet side of the island. As far as I could tell there were not any restaurants within walking distance. We loved sitting out on the patio in the evening. The owner was very nice and accommodating. We booked this property because is was one of the most affordable places on the island. It was not for luxury though. I wore ear plugs to bed and slept good but my wife complained about the window cooler keeping her up all night as it kicked on to keep the room cool. Then at 5:30 AM the roosters started crowing. So bring ear plugs. The room was clean and comfortable. Caring the luggage up the step narrow stairs were a little bit of a struggle. For one night it was good but if I was staying for a long time I would stay somewhere else.

Expensive for what it is

The spot is beautiful, easy by local bus or car. But the room must be updated. Clean, but old furniture. Bed was comfortable. No soap in the bathroom. We are frequents travelers all over the world, and not sure we come back at this place for this price.
