Our cabin is nestled on 5 acres with the Bridger Mountains as the backdrop out the front door. Surrounded by natve grasses, shrubs, and trees and views of 6 mountain ranges, it is a great spot for a family vacation.
A full kitchen with granite counter tops, 5 burner gas stove, small dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. Flat screen Smart TV with dependable high speed internet for watching Hulu, Netflix, AmazonPrime, or login to your own cable network. Outdoor fire pit and patio furniture.
An hour drive to Big Sky, for summer activities,
down the pristine Gallatin Canyon
along the Gallatin River. 90 miles from Yellowstone National Park. Summer activities include fishing blue ribbon trout streams, hiking, rafting, canoeing, kayaking, bicycling, Five trailhead hiking trails are
within 15 minutes of the cabin in the Bridger Mountains. Rent rafts and float the Yellowstone River or raft the white water of the Gallatin River with a guide

Winter activities include Downhill Skiing or Snow Boarding at either Bridger Bowl, which is a 40 minute drive or Big Sky, which is an hour drive. Cross Country Skiing at groomed trails at Bridger Creek golf course, Lindley Sunset Hills near the hospital/cemetary in Bozeman, Cross Cut Sports Center up Bridger Canyon and in the Hyalite Mountains. Ice climbing at Palisades Falls and ice fishing at Hyalite reservoir in the Hyalite Mountains, Several winter hiking trails.

clean up your dogs poop outside and dog hair from the inside. Dog hair on bedding and furniture will result in loss of some of your deposit

We have solar energy so please be conscientious of your electricity use, please turn off all lights, fans, TV, etc when not in the cabin

We loved our stay! The setting was beautiful and so was the cabin. Quiet neighborhood with view of the Bridger mountains from the front porch. Beautiful interior with comfortable beds and livingroom chairs. Fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. We give this place a definite thumbs up!!

Third stay here, as perfect as ever!

We’ve stayed in Wendy and Dave’s cabin in 2021, 2023 and June 2025. The cabin has million dollar views of the Bridgers, and is conveniently situated. It is well-stocked with spices, paper goods, toiletries. Don’t go shopping until you check what is there! We completely enjoyed our stay and relaxing after fishing or hiking.

Little cabin in Gods Country

Would be nice if they trimmed the yard and gardens. It’s a beautiful place but the outside is not very appealing. It needs to be aired out smells a little stuffy. Would recommend this cabin we loved it.

Lovely cabin in a wonderful location

We stayed three nights in this wonderful cabin. It is charming, and furnished with everything you would need. It's a short drive into town. The night sky was amazing - so many stars! Wendy stopped by one afternoon to say hello for a few minutes; she gave us some tips on an nice hike right in that area, which we loved. We really enjoyed this cabin and hope to be back!

Just Perfect

My husband had to stay locally for a week and this cabin had everything he needed. He said it was perfect and had everything he needed. Great location, and views

Family of 3 adults. Enjoyed our stay. Convenient to stores, airport and Yellowstone. Much to see and do. Cabin was nice and clean. I would only suggest some blinds or curtains in living room area and kitchen, just for extra privacy. Appreciate the use of cooler and towels for swimming. Cabin was well equipped and had everything needed for comfortable stay. Being from Texas, has to get used to no AC, we are hot natured. But we survived, had a memorable time and would recommend..

Fantastic!

We stayed here for 3 nights while moving our son into his freshman year at Montana State. It was fantastic! The cabin provided the perfect blend of comfort and country, all in the shadows of the mountains. It was clean and quaint. Close enough to get to MSU in 10 minutesIt but away from the busyness of the city. It offered a fun, unique experience that fit the region well with all the comforts of home… comfortable bed, nice TV, full kitchen, clean bathroom and fully furnished. I particularly enjoyed mornings in the rocking chair on the front porch. And a very friendly and hospitabl host to top it off. The area tourism brochures came in handy for a hike we took to the “M” and the green cards with instructions/tips were great. All around, just a great stay. We’ll definitely try to stay again when we visit. Thanks!!!

I moved to Bozeman in 1979 and immediately felt like I had “come home”. My husband and I raised our 2 daughters in Bozeman in 2 different locations. We bought this property in 2001 and in 2014 we built the cabin. My husband and I lived in it for 3 years before we moved into a larger house that we built 250 feet south of the cabin. My husband is a builder so the cabin has many extraordinary features.

Why they chose this property

If you enjoy sitting on a porch in a rocking chair, listening to the birds and staring at the ever changing mountain landscape in a quiet country atmosphere, then this is the place for you.
