About this property

Beautiful gated and private beach setting

Open kitchen and family room area with vaulted ceiling. Kitchen provides large bar style seating. Enjoy the wine cooler in the kitchen as well as the endless supply of ice from the built in ice machine which will be handy for those ice cold drinks in the summer. Tiled floors throughout. Walk up the maritime style steps to the loft which sleeps two on a queen bed. Additionally are a master bedroom which features a queen bed and a third bedroom with a queen bed. Master and second first floor bedrooms feature wall mounted televisions with cable and Roku sticks. There is secure wifi and a dvd player. The bathroom provides a large walk in tile shower. Air conditioned or heated for winter rentals. Covered front porch has seating for up to 6 comfortably, as well as seating on the beach. Before you come in after a long day in the sun and sand, feel free to rinse off in the outside shower. It's convenient to wash off the little ones or just your sandy feet with adjustable water temperature. Please feel free to use the gas grill for cooking out. You are welcome to bring your own beach chairs, sand toys and fun games for the beach or water. However, there are a supply of kayaks, paddle boards, life jackets and a floating pad for your enjoyment without rental fees. You will find a place to fish from the pier, however poles are not provided.

This is a really nice unit with great windows and views of the lake, and it's just steps from a private beach. We had a great time with our kids, and Geoff and Tammy were excellent hosts. We hope to return next year.

Our family of 4 (w/ boys 11 and 13) had a great stay at Cottage F. The cottage is well maintained with modern amenities, open floor plan, great A/C and an amazing view of the lake.The beach is quiet and clean. The sand goes far into the lake so is perfect for hanging out with the kids and playing in the water on hot days. There are plenty of kayaks, SUPs and outdoor games available to keep you active as well as lots of beach chairs and umbrellas. The town is a 5 minute drive away with great shops and restaurants. Huron and Sandusky are a bit further, but offer other spots to visit.The neighbors were all friendly and quiet, and the hosts were very attentive and ensured a great stay. Highly recommend.

Beautiful stay great location

Our family had a terrific week here. Host is super easy and friendly to deal with. The place was clean, beautiful and just as expected. Literally step right out the back door onto a private beach. Location is in the middle of several great Northern Ohio attraction's. I would happily book again and recommend to anyone.

We had an amazing time here! The door opens right onto the beach which was the biggest selling point and it did not disappoint. They provide everything you need, we definitely overpacked. The little town area is so cute and walkable. The beds were comfy and there was enough space for all 6 of us comfortably. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials. The outdoor shower was amazing for rinsing off sand. We loved every minute of this trip and can't wait to go back. My three girls said it was their favorite trip ever so that is a win for me. The owners are amazing and very responsive, they made sure we had a wonderful time. Thank you!!

Hidden Gem - Beautiful cottage with great sunsets!

Our family wanted a beach vacation without the long drive or flight and this cottage certainly delivered. It’s the cleanest place we’ve stayed and the owners are amazing. As soon as we arrived Tammy was there to greet us and give us a tour of the cottage any the facilities amenities. They provide beach chairs and kayaks to use at your leisure and the beach is just steps from your porch. It’s so nice not having to lug a wagon down the elevator and through a boardwalk and a long walk to the beach. I was able to sit on the porch while my daughter was swimming and playing in the sand. The beach club has a family friendly atmosphere and it’s the first vacation in a long time that I can say we came home refreshed from. We enjoyed it so much, we’ve already booked our stay next year.

Rare Gem

Myself, my husband, and our 3 young children (ages 5,4,4) just returned from a 5 night stay in Unit H. What a beautiful house right on the lake! I mean step off of your porch, onto sand! The kids were fully entertained by the sand and water, and i was able to sit back, relax and watch them. Anything you needed back at the house was only steps away. The beach was clean and private. Tammy and Geoff worked hard to make sure that the beach and properties are very well maintained. The house had everything that you could need. Everything was very clean and beautifully decorated. The beds were very comfortable, the towels were fluffy, the bedding was soft. All of the outdoor furniture was well maintained and very nice. Even the potted flowers on the property were beautiful! The town of Vermillion is small, but very cute. We ate breakfast at Granny Joes, and got ice cream most nights at an ice cream shop that had a pirate ship jungle gym for the kids to play on that they loved. The kids keep asking to go to the "beach house" and "pirate ship ice cream" and i have to explain that it is far away now! Haha! We went on a little boat ride called Mystic Tours. The operator was very friendly with our kids. Overall, we couldnt have asked for a better property to stay in with our family, and the town was just enough explore if we wanted to get out a bit. It was the first time in 5 years that i was actually able to relax on a trip with the kids.

Wonderful Place to Stay

Wow, this place is perfection. These hosts have thought of everything- kayaks, paddleboards, beach toys, life jackets are all available. The rental is super clean and you have everything you need- dish soap, hand soap, laundry supplies, trash bags etc. (One thing to note, if you're a coffee drinker bring your own travel mug (not glass) because their coffee cups are tiny - lol) The beds and bedding are super clean and comfy, towels are fluffy and they even have pillows and throws for the couch so you can snuggle up and watch a movie. All of the TVs had roku so you can just log into your account and stream your latest binge. The hosts are very attentive and always on site if you need something. They even clean the beach every morning! Our unit, (unit F) had very comfy wicker furniture on the porch. We loved sitting on the porch in the morning drinking coffee and watching the waves. The nearby town has plenty of shops and restaurants and a grocery store if you need anything and they are all close enough to deliver. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for a relaxing and trouble free vacation.

Perfect girls trip!

My family took our first girls trip to the Morris Beach Club on Lake Erie. The property is just incredible and the views are breathtaking! Geoff and Tammy couldn’t have been kinder hosts. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Great place to stay

If you want a nice quiet place to stay right on a private beach, this is it. They have kayaks and paddle boards that you can use in the water. The house was clean and comfortable. Location is close to all kinds of areas around the lake. The owners are super nice and welcoming. We'd stay again.

Spending family time “at the lake” has been a lifelong tradition; one that I continued with my grandsons beginning 18 years ago. I can honestly say this has been the perfect trip! From our warm, personal welcome, tour and walk-thru (while answering every possible question); the spotless cabin with no detail forgotten, to the effortless checkout; it was an amazing week!! We loved our on-location hosts that provided rafts, kayaks, paddle boards and endless comfortable beach chairs and availability of games and activities, if wanted. But the VIEW…best ever!! Five star doesn’t seem enough! Thank you, and see you again!!

Fun in the Sun

The location is right on the beach. Sandcastles, kayaking, paddles boards and lots of beach glass. Watched natures light show when a storm rolled thru and enjoyed the amazing sunsets.

Beautiful spot at the beach

Property is quite nice, even better than the pictures. The view off the porch is right over beach and lake, perfect place to sit with a cup of coffee. Hosts live on site, so everything is nicely maintained and they are quick to answer any questions. We'd happily stay there again!

Perfect Family Getaway!

This property exceeded our expectations. Cottage was clean and had everything we needed. I especially loved the ice maker to keep my drinks cold. Owners showed our daughter how to find the sea glass that washed up, which kept her busy for hours. Plenty of other water activities to keep them busy. Truly a nice place to relax and enjoy some sun, sand and family. Thank you again Morris family, we hope to be back again soon!

Great for relaxation

My husband and I stayed at this property with some friends 2 years ago and so we decided to bring the family back for a much needed getaway. The gated lot and beach front location is a slice of heaven. Even though the weather wasn’t fantastic, it didn’t take away the beauty and sound of the lake! Everyone very much enjoyed it!!!
