We had a lovely week in the house in La Bastia and particularly enjoyed the ability to walk 3 mins down the road to the river to swim and cool off. The house is well located, adequately equipped, though towels were very small, would have been good to have more than one chopping board. There are plans to put in ceiling fans, which would be of great benefit to keep air moving. Would also have been good to have an up to date internet package with unlimited data (NB our teenager ran through the week's data allocation in 2 days) as it's impossible to stream music for example, which was disappointing. Area overall is fantastic. We really liked Goudargues - great bakery (not the one on the high street), super ice cream cafes, market on a Wednesday and plenty of restaurant choice - and could go canoeing (though river levels low this year), climbing, horse-riding and walking. Overall highly recommended as the above points are easy to rectify.

Beautiful authentic accomodation in a quiet neigbourhood where you can relax and enjoy the Southern French regio Gard.
The house is well equipped and owners of the property are very responsive. We will definitely come again.
