Private Wooded Retreat
If privacy, peace, and relaxation are what you are looking for, then look no further than Channa Acres! This 600 square-foot guest house is an apartment located within a large pole building on the back of our property.
It's not the Ritz, but this “cabin-themed” guest house is very clean and private! There is a queen bed, a full size futon, an inflatable full size mattress, and a Graco crib upon request. Extra sheets and blankets are provided. Possibly best suited to families due to the curtain-only bedroom and only one proper bed.
A hairdryer, iron/ ironing board are provided. There is a shower, no bathtub. Shampoo and conditioner, as well as various other bathroom sundries are included under the sink.
There is an apartment-sized washer and dryer with laundry pods and dryer sheets, a microwave and toaster, a fully-stocked kitchen including dishes, pots/pans, and a stove/oven. Spices, oils, salt and pepper, etc. are in the cupboard for you. There is a regular coffee pot and Keurig with a variety of drink pods included!
Firewood, kindling, and roasting sticks included also! Bring your smores' and enjoy a "glamping" experience!
Pets are welcome at no charge. We do not have a fenced yard, so bring your own crate or kennel if you wish.
We are 8 miles from Silverwood down a pretty side road, and we are centrally located between many lakes including Lake Pend Oreille, Coeur d’ Alene Lake, and Hayden Lake.
There is a covered parking garage area for your car. Sometimes our boats are being stored on the other half of the garage.
You may self-check in any time after 3 PM with keypad entry to the guest house. We respect your privacy, so you may never see us. You will drive by our main house to get to the guest house, but you will not bother us at all. Please don't worry about coming and going any time of day or night as you please. We are a pretty chill couple of empty-nesters, so nothing much bothers us. All we ask is that you leave the place tidy, although we do not ask you do any laundry or any house cleaning! Enjoy your vacation!

Anna and Chad love living in the woods of North Idaho! On our little hobby farm we have chickens, geese, sheep, dogs, and a cat. We enjoy golfing, traveling, gardening, fishing, boating and kayaking, and of course being hosts to our wonderful guests!
Why they chose this property
We are centrally located between many wonderful lakes, ski mountains, hiking and biking trails, and quaint towns like Sandpoint, Bayview, and Coeur d' Alene. There's something for everyone here!
What makes this property unique
Silverwood is just 8 miles down a pretty country road from our house. It is close enough that many guests come home mid-afternoon for a snack and a nap.
