The Sanctuary Retreat: Peaceful Oasis in the Trees with Jacuzzi

Welcome to our Sanctuary in the trees! Situated on 4 acres, our home is totally private, yet only a 3 minute drive to Ganges town centre. Peaceful and tranquil, come here to relax after a full day of exploring.

Cosy up by the fire with a good book and a cup of tea. Or get lost in the sweeping 180-degree views of Active Pass, stretching all the way from Whistler to Mount Baker. Drift off to sleep in your own little nest among the Cedar & Arbutus.

The Space
Perched high atop Ganges Harbour, nestled among the trees, you will find our special sanctuary. After a quiet & peaceful night's sleep, awake refreshed in the serenity of the forest surrounded by natural light and fresh air.

Guest access

This self-contained 2-level guesthouse features an open concept living room/dining room, gas fireplace, kitchen, and an expansive private deck.

On the lower level you will find an additional bedroom, full bathroom, and secondary private deck. Both levels have their own private entrance.

Yoga
Just two houses away you will find The Nest Yoga Studio. Practice with the warmth of a wood-burning stove and an amazing view! Book a private Hot Yoga class for 2, or for larger groups Sarah Jane can lead a yoga class on the deck here, weather depending. Inquire about availability.

Beautiful property in a peaceful setting! I enjoyed waking up to a view from bed and sitting on the patio in the mornings with a coffee. The property is a short drive to town where there are lots of shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants. I hope to come back soon, the hosts were wonderful and very responsive!

Perfect for our girls trip!

My friends and I needed a quick getaway for our university reading break. Kelly and Ryan were attentive and made us feel very comfortable on their property! Our stay exceeded our expectations. Sanctuary Retreat is lovely — a glass & wood abode up Mount Maxwell, set among trees, overlooking Ganges Harbour. Very comfortable for two couples. (A third bedroom has 3-4 single beds that we didn’t use.) The bathrooms are fairly basic and the house decor is not fancy. Nonetheless, it is a beautiful one-of-a-kind Zen hideaway.
