Perfectly located just 6 houses up from the beach, this charming, beautifully decorated 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is just a 10 minute walk to the amusement park, restaurants and pier or to Ocean Park with it's charm of yesteryear. 1st floor includes updated kitchen well stocked with many amenities, and a cozy porch for coffee in the morning or cocktails at night. 2 air conditioners downstairs, with ceiling fans to make it comfortable throughout. 2nd floor features 3 air-conditioned bedrooms -- all freshly painted and newly carpeted. Whether you are looking for a romantic get-away or a fun family vacation, this is the spot for you! Within a short 5-mile drive, you'll find Funtown/Splashtown, Aquaboggan, golf courses, bowling and movie theatres. Portland, LL Bean (Freeport), and the Kittery Outlets are within a half hour drive. Just bring your sheets & towels; we provide the rest! Amenities include beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, charcoal BBQ grill, etc. Clean and comfortable, the house has A/C in bedrooms, heat, fans, 3 flatscreen TVs, stereo, and games/puzzles/books for lots of family fun!! Enjoy a glass of wine or cup of coffee in the enclosed porch or on the fenced in private patio area. Wi-fi is also available. Washer/dryer, microwave, keurig coffee machine (and regular drip Mr. coffee maker). Plenty of pots, pans, glasses and dishes to meet all of your cooking/serving needs. And, of course a large lobster pot and tools!Weekly rentals only.

This breathtaking New England beach house was a delightful experience. Each room exuded its own unique charm. The proximity to the beach was simply fantastic, allowing us to witness the breathtaking sunrise every morning. The soothing sound of the train passing by added to the peaceful ambiance. I would definitely return and spend another week exploring this enchanting place.

This home is warm, comfortable and a blast from the past. Everything was in order. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and everything you need is within walking distance. We had a wonderful stay and plan on visiting again.

Perfect beach getaway

This is our third year staying at Cheryl and Mike's place and to say that it is heavenly is an understatement. As a mom of three, it's wonderful to not have to think about a ton of extras when going away for a week. The house is well appointed with everything one could need. The kids were well entertained with games and puzzles and loved borrowing a boogie board to use at the beach. Being so close to the beach is an incredible advantage and made it easier to enjoy a day in the waves whenever we pleased. We are so grateful for the hospitality of these hosts. Five stars as usual!

A wonderful location with many things to do for children.

I'm the kind of person to drive to our destination, park and walk everywhere. This is the perfect location!!! The beach was about a football field away, two local stores, one with a restaurant two houses away. Now the beach, clean, deep and 7 miles long with plenty to do along the shore.

Chill by the sea!

This was a wonderful property. Close proximity to the beach and a beautiful well stocked house! Parking was easy, there was a small market nearby for breakfast/ milk, etc., and we fell in love with the front porch! Cheryl was wonderful to deal with-prompt and kind with her responses! I would highly recommend this property!

Wonderful family vacation

My family had an amazing week at Old Orchard Beach. This beach house had everything we needed - close proximity to the beach, multiple full bathrooms, a grill and a perfect location. The beach is so close that you can see it from the relaxing screened in porch. I’d recommend this house to anyone looking for a true home away from home. We made a lot of great memories on our vacation and can’t wait to get back to the beach!

Nice Beach House

This was our second time in this beach house. Although some aspects are in need of a little TLC (new door knobs on two of the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom) and paint on the kitchen door), overall the house is very welcoming and cozy. It had everything that we needed and more. The biggest advantage is its proximity to the beach! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

While we appreciate 4 stars and the positive comments, we strive for 5 stars and we were disappointed with the review. This renter left us comments via email and in a guest book noting that the house was perfect and they had no issues. We appreciate feedback from our renters, and have made enhancements based on suggestions., but we would have preferred the courtesy of receiving these picky comments directly vs. on a review. Unfortunately, A previous renter put her elbow through our storm door window. We were fortunate to get a contractor in to replace the window, but paint got chipped around the framing in doing so. It will be touched up in the off season.

Amazing vacation!

My husband and I enjoyed such a nice week at this house! I honestly don’t think the pictures do it justice with how beautiful this home is. Beautifully decorated, well stocked with everything you need and could think of, and the close proximity to the beach made our time in OOB absolutely amazing. The next time we return to OOB, we will definitely consider renting this home again. Thank you so much!

Great week at the beach

Stayed here with my husband, my parents, and our 2 boys. Amazing location and really nice house. Downstairs is very spacious and great closet space. Incredible amount of games and beachgear which was great b cause we came from the south so we're very limited in what we could bring with us.

Summer family getaway

The property was in a prime location for our family. Just far enough away from the busy pier but close enough to walk. The location to the beach was prime. The house was close enough if you forgot anything for the beach you could easily run back to get it. The home was a quintessential beach retreat. Cute beach/cottage decor. The outdoor shower was helpful to wash the sand off. We loved the board games and the front porch especially. We are grateful for our stay!

Great location

We had a great week in OOB, this house could not be in a better location for enjoying the beach and all the other activities in the area. It was so nice to not have to pack up and bring all our beach stuff - they have everything you could need for a beach day neatly stored in the yard. The outdoor shower was so great for rinsing off kids ! The house is very welcoming and the kids enjoyed all the vintage beach decor and games. we spent most of our time on the front porch which has an ocean view and a nice breeze, I will miss having morning coffee out there and hope we can come back next summer !
