Located on the 20th floor of Tower Two at Portofino Island Resort, this east-facing condo offers a bright, serene start to every day. This was an amazing relaxing stay! We had all we needed in the condo for the stay and beach with everything well kept and clean. We did have to call maintenance for a minor fix and their contact responded in a timely manner and had it fixed in less than 15mins from our phone call. We highly recommend! And will be booking again!

Amazing anniversary stay

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay - the sunrise was so beautiful we found ourselves waking early just so we wouldn't miss it! The location is so convenient and great amenities! This was not our first stay at Portofino, and I hope it won't be our last. Would stay in this unit again.

Wonderful condo with a wonderful view up the island between the Gulf and Inner waterway with soft white sands on both beaches. A short 100yd walk gets you to either beach and makes for a lovely stroll.

Great property for anyone

My family stayed for 5 days with 2 kids (7 months and 6 years old). The condo was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The view from the balcony is amazing. Mary does a great job with making sure you have everything you need and she is very responsive to any question we had. Definitely recommend this condo and would certainly stay again.

25th Anniversary Getaway

Beautiful unit with great views of the Sound & Gulf. The unit was stocked with needed items that are most likely forgotten on these types of trips like foil and sandwich bags. The basket of items like little shampoos was helpful too. We would love to stay again one day.

Home away from home

We had an amazing experience here at Morning star. The pictures do not do the amazing view justice! The condo has views for all, and is well stocked for essentials so you don't have to go out and buy items that you end up having to take back with you. The resort has every thing you would need. The staff we encountered were pleasant and always asked if we needed anything. We will definitely be back again!!!

Best Vacation Ever

I cant say enough good things about this condo! We stayed for a week and it really does have the items that make it feel so much like home. No need to bring Trash bags, dish soap, hand soap, tp, laundry soap, beach chairs or toys as this is all provided by the condo. I loved watching the morning sunrises to watching the moon make her appearance nightly over the Gulf! The view from the balcony were amazing even when a storm approached! The communication with Mary was amazing and it made it feel like we were renting from a friend! Would definitely recommend this condo to anyone and I would love to come back to this very location when we come back down to the panhandle in the future, wonderful memories were made this week!!!!

Red, White & Blue Week

The condo was beautifully furnished with many added extras included which was very nice. Kitchen had everything we needed and the grill was so convenient. The only thing I would upgrade is the blender. We went and bought one to meet our needs, no big deal. If you plan on making margarita’s etc… the current one will not work. We went to see the blue angels at the pier on Thursday, but were able to catch part of the show the other days on the beach at Portofino which was really nice. Beds, furnishings were all really comfortable. I would defiantly stay here again.

Best Vacation Yet!!

We had an amazing time!! The views are spectacular!! Watched the sun rise daily! The home was spotless!! And beautiful! We had everything we needed right at the house - kitchen supplies and beach equipment! It gave us a little extra room in the car which was greatly appreciated!! Mary was always a text away to answer questions and keep us updated! The resort was beautiful and nicely landscaped. All the staff were friendly. The beach,sound, and amenities were all within walking distance. My kids are asking when we can go back. Loved every minute!!

Fantastic view!

We came to Pensacola for a long weekend. The first thing you notice upon entering the unit is the view. It’s essentially a window full of blue!! The gulf on the right and the bay on the left. No buildings in front of you!! It was so relaxing, sitting outside on your 20th floor patio! The kitchen was well stocked…we actually cooked a birthday cake. Bedrooms were comfortable and tv had all the cable channels and music we enjoy. Mary was so diligent about making sure our arrival was flawless. The resort pools were beautiful and clean. Restaurant food was good and if you have teens, they can charge everything to your room. The gym was more than we could ever ask for. We brought our tennis racquets and played tennis a few times. The beach was directly across the street, but not a hassle to get over there and not crowded. It was a terrific stay and we will definitely be back!

What an amazing place

We had a fun time. The views as you walk into the condo are breathtaking of Santa Rosa Sound, the white sands of the National Sea Shore and the Gulf coast all at the same time directly off the deck. It's just as the photos show and more! The place is clean spacious, set up with everything you need including coffee, shampoo, sun tan lotion. Views from every room. Cookware and condiments were pretty much all there, so if you like to dine in your all set. Electric grill that work very well to cook thick New York sirloins just like a gas grill. Portofino is a nice place as well friendly people and we met some of the neighbors who were glad to share places to go with us. We fished in the sound just. and caught a Red Fish. Mary was a great host as she had it ready to go and since there wasn't a check out prior to us, she was able to give us an earlier check in. We kept in contact with her and she responded right back with any questions we had on places to go. Well spelled out check in and check out made it easy. We have rental property in Maine and know what hard work it is to get the place set up just right and it was. Would definitely come back. Thank you Mary, Lisa and Scott

Perfect Pensacola Paradise

Morning Star was perfect for two couples traveling together for a getaway beach trip. Having both bedrooms with queen/king beds AND both having balcony access with WATER views was heaven on earth! It truly was steps to the beach and this time of year was very quiet and perfect for strolls and shell hunting. Mary was FABULOUS assisting with the rental, directions from across the bay, restaurant suggestions, and truly did have all of the comforts of home waiting for us (WHO includes spices, bottled water, ziplock bags, and potentially forgotten toiletries in a vacation rental -- MARY does!! :) ) The resort property was wonderful and we did dine at the poolside restaurant once and went over to sit at the firepits poolside one evening. The pools were heated and the hot tub was hot. Resort staff were friendly and extremely attentive and helpful! The weather was a bit chilly but didn't stop us from getting out and enjoying the area and particularly the stunning beach; sunrises to super moon! We drove back across the bay to Pensacola to shop one day, and then over to Destin via Navarre Beach and enjoyed a gorgeous coastal ride and fresh seafood at our favorite "Back Porch" restaurant. It truly was a very perfect getaway and one we would certainly consider returning too. (We have a long bucket list and typically don't do repeats - but this would certainly would be worth a 2nd trip; especially in the "off season" when it is so relaxing and peaceful.) Thanks for everything Mary!!!

Portofino!!!!

The property was amazing. We stayed in the 2nd tower on the 20th floor, facing east. The view can be seen from every room. My only complaint is that I had to leave. I'm having discussions now with my girlfriend to go back this weekend!

Absolute Dream location

Such a perfect, special place that we treasure our times at year after year!! Mary is wonderful to work with, always super helpful and quick response, available at a drop of a hat!! First off, Mary and her partner, the hosts, are amazing ! She’s very communicative and very sweet . It’s like chatting with an old friend. I asked if they had beach chairs to see if I needed to haul mine from Texas and she said if there weren’t any there that they would go buy some and bring them over. (There were some there along with an umbrella , toys and huge beach towels ) . Her partner even stopped by to make sure we had some.I thought that was awesome !All we had to do was show up. Everything you need in the kitchen is there. They also supplied paper towels , towel paper and trash bags. Very well stocked place. She also let me know that the condo was empty the night before us so we didn’t have to wait until the 4 pm check in because the place was clean so we were able to come in early and enjoy a full first day ! Loved that !She gave me multiple recommendations of places to see, eat and visit . She said I could ask her anything at any time and we so appreciated that. Mary also texted me every day to give an update on the flags . That’s huge because I never did see an actual flag on the beach so I wouldn’t have even known. We had red flags the whole time that we were there but we still went to the beach and had a blast. The condo was comfy cozy and we didn’t even want to go anywhere cause it felt like home .It’s very clean and im extremely particular about that. I’ve run out of space to write but rent from Mary !

We love Portofino!

Second time staying at this specific property at Portofino and it is very well stocked. The view is amazing. The furnishings are a little tired and the beds could use new mattresses, but the price is right! Mary is quick to respond and Jeff takes care of whatever you need fixed right away! We will be staying again soon! It is my favorite place in FL!

Why they chose this property

This particular unit is located on the resort property of Portofino in tower two it is very close to the lifestyle center and it is a very high up there it’s on the 20th floor out of 21 it is facing east towards Navarre Beach . This particular condo in this particular tower has the most breathtaking sunrises you’ll ever see. If you look at the reviews which I have worked very hard to get you will see why people come back to this unit over and over again.

What makes this property unique

This is a owner managed condo I work directly for the owner of this particular condo the actual resort of Portofino also rents condos but you will see if you compare the bottom line price that this ends up in general being more price competitive. I only have a three night minimum except for certain holidays such as blue angels week which is always the busiest week of the year and second to that would be the second busiest time also in July - Independece day .Weekdays are priced less than a weekend with Monday, Tuesday ,and Wednesday being less so if your dates are flexible and you just want to quick getaway those are the least expensive days to book go up Thursday ,Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Weekly prices are also a better deal price wise per night than just a 3 night weekend price. The facilities at Portofino are second to none on the gulf coast of Florida. There is a pool and a Jacuzzi located at the bottom of this tower as well within a short walk the lifestyle center which has an indoor pool,a incredible workout facility restaurants and bar. If you want to check out what is going on at this resort go to Portofino and the resort will post Current events ,menus ,activities optional dolphin cruises etc. Thereis a trolley that is free that runs from one end of the beach to the other and that runs from memorial day the end of May till the beginning of Labor Day. Feel free to email me about what is going on as I live here I grew up here and I can tell you what restaurants are good ,what the locals like, and must see places to stop and explore at in Pensacola.
