Downtown Sandusky Waterfront Chesapeake Condo-Cedar Point

This end condo, with Larger rooms than most units & the largest patio available make this unit, in the luxury, waterfront Chesapeake Condos, very unique. Located in the heart of downtown Sandusky with views of Lake Erie & Cedar Point, the Chesapeake is the ideal location for experiencing all the shores & islands have to offer. Walk to restaurants, shops & more as well as a ferry to Cedar Point or the Islands. Less than 10 min to Cedar Point, Sports Force Park, Kalahari & other local attractions.

This unit has bedrooms and living area that are larger than most others in The Chesapeake Lofts. Spread out in the king sized bed (bedroom 1) while bedroom 2 features a queen. Elegantly decorated, this unit will make you feel like you are staying at a luxury waterfront resort. Kitchen comes fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, dinner ware, bar ware and some basic cooking supplies like spices. Gated, secure parking for 2 vehicles is included.

There is a private pool and hot tub, outdoor grills, and fitness center for Chesapeake guests. The large porch contains patio furniture that is only accessible from inside this unit. Outdoor amenities may be limited due to the seasonality of local climate and the condo associations determination of appropriate conditions. The pool generally opens around Memorial Day and shortly after Labor Day. No common area amenity is guaranteed by the host.

This is an end unit giving our guests extra privacy. It should still be noted that this is a downtown condo building; while we've never had issues with loud or unruly neighbors, we cannot guarantee silence!

A few days before your check in, we will contact you with access information. If you have not already, please make sure you have read the entire listing and have familiarized yourself with our house rules.

Our city vacation rental permit does limit the number of guests. We use common area security cameras and noise monitoring devices to verify guest count. Violation will result in immediate removal without refund.

Perfect location

This condo was wonderful. Very clean and pretty! Loved the patio! I could sit there all night listening to the live music. So relaxing. It is located in the absolute best location. Right in downtown Sandusky and close to everything. We walked almost everywhere which was wonderful! Great town, great people and great place! I can’t wait to go back!

Great location, great condo

We have stayed here two years in a row and the listing is spot on. The condo is in a great location and love their outdoor patio! The kitchen was well equipped and would recommend the unit to anyone! The pool was incredibly clean which is always a bonus. The only downside was we had to leave.

Family Vacation

Excellent location! Great breakfast, lunch and dinner spots; all within walking distance. Less than 5 minute walk to the ferry heading to Cedar Point multiple times daily. The pool was perfect, house well stocked and a very nice floor plan for acoustic privacy from neighbors and between rooms for ourselves! The check-in link had all of the info, easily accessible and separate from VRBO app so it could be shared with family members easily. Would stay again.

We loved the place so much that we altered our trip to spend more time in and around the property. Our PIB/Cedar Point trip included this 1 night stay in Sandusky & it was a pleasant stay. Clear instructions, clean condo and close to anything you need.

Great location

Loved the location right next to the ferry. Could walk everywhere in town. The bedrooms do not have any windows. This didn't bother us but worth noting. Unit was very clean.

Perfect Downtown Locale

It took a bit to get checked in but the owner provide good instructions and we were soon settling into a clean and comfortable two bedroom condo. It was a little big for the two of us but its location made visiting the downtown area for dinner and breakfast an easy walk. The sunrise/sunsets had a surprising beauty along with the night time view of the Cedar Point roller coasters. We really wished our schedule allowed for another day or two to explore the area, but we had to hit the road after an easy check out.

A wonderful one night stay

What a wonderful place to rest and relax before heading to cedar point. The location was excellent, very walkable to many restaurants. Very clean and welcoming. Our granddaughter loved the pool and watching a big ship come into the dock in the morning. We had a little problem checking in but that was our fault. We contacted Ross and he responded quickly and walked me thru it. We would definitely stay here again and for a longer time.

The beds were super comfortable! I liked how the balcony was very spacious. I loved how the condo was so close to downtown so we could easily walk everywhere. I absolutely loved how when you turned on the tv and netflix and actual things people watch came up and not regular tv. I would definitely come back and stay again! Finally thank you so much for letting us stay!!

Open floor plan, nice property

We have stayed multiple times at another property at the same location and it never disappoints. Clean and quiet, gated parking. The instructions provided give a clear understanding on how to check in. The only reason why I give check-in 4 stars is because it’s a little more work than usual, but now that we’ve done it several times we have the hang of it. The condo itself is very clean, easy to adjust temperature, and the bedding is well-maintained. This particular unit has a nice, large deck that faces one of the main streets in downtown Sandusky. The TV was easy to work, large refrigerator, paper towel in the kitchen. One shared bathroom that served its purpose. If you’ve never stayed here, Sandusky has a small downtown area with many restaurants and bars to visit if you choose to. We have stayed here several times now in both the late spring and early fall and we have never felt unsafe to walk around at night. Thank you, and we will be staying here again.

great location

just had some trouble checking in and retrieving keys to condo. it was a bit confusing, but property manager got right back with me and guided me through. i had quite a few numbers for rsvp…and was unsure which to use.

Perfect Location

This condo is in the perfect location. Lots of restaurants/bars within walking distance. Close to Cedar Point. The condo was very comfortable with a very large deck. It was perfect when we had some family join us for dinner. The owner was great to work with. Check in and check out was very easy. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place on Lake Erie.

We rented the property for a quick visit to Sandusky and it was great. Very convenient to everything we had planned. I would stay here again. And Ross and Michelle were very accommodating and stayed in touch the whole stay if something was needed. Enjoy your stay as well.

Sophisticated 2- bedroom Loft in downtown Sandusky/mins from Cedar

This modern loft place meets all your needs for a Sandusky/Lake Erie stay. It’s located in the heart of the pedestrian downtown & minutes from Cedar Point. Michelle & Ross provide detailed information & tons of recommendations. The loft is immaculate & pristine clean, and my daughter thought the bed was softer, more comfortable than a hotel. Highly recommend!
