About this property
#HabitueHomes - The East End Retreat – King Bed, EV Charger, Natural Hot Spring Pool!
This charming 2-bedroom, 1-bath home in Boise's Historic East End features a private hot spring soaking pool with a complimentary 2-hour soak. The temperature is adjustable for year-round enjoyment. The yard is shared with the owner but fully private during your soak.
Inside, enjoy a full kitchen, cozy living area, washer/dryer, Roku (Netflix, Hulu, HBO), and Gigabit Wi-Fi. The primary bedroom has a King bed.
Located just a mile from downtown, 2 miles to BSU, and steps from the Boise River Greenbelt, hiking, parks, and local attractions like the Idaho Botanical Gardens, the Roosevelt Market, and the Natatorium pool. Family- and dog-friendly with easy parking, including space for a truck and trailer.
The owners live in the adjoining unit with a privacy fence ensuring your space. 1-2 dogs welcome. Garage not available, but plenty of street parking.
This is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath private house accommodating up to 4 guests. The master bedroom has a King bed and walk in closet and the second bedroom has 2 twin beds. 1-2 well behaved dogs are allowed, please ask if you have more than two. Our dog fee is $45 per dog for the entire stay. Cats are not allowed.
-The geothermal pool in the backyard is 16'x10' with its deepest point at 5'. The mineral rich pool water is fed from the Boise Warm Springs Water District (our nations very first geothermal water system). It can be set to any temperature and provides a very rejuvenating and unique soaking experience. As part of your stay you can book a 2 hour complimentary session for up to 4 people with the owners who live on site.
-The electric car charger is a Tesla Generation 3 Universal Wall Connector with both NACS and J1772 connectors built in so both Tesla and non-Tesla EV's have an easy connection. It is set to the maximum level 2 speed of 11.5 kw / 48amp output adding 44 miles of range per hour.
- The kitchen is fully equipped for longer-term stays including full size appliances, pantry, dishwasher, refrigerator and a washer/dryer. The stove/oven is electric and works great.
-The bathroom has a large vanity for placing belongings, one sink and a bathtub and shower combination with a detachable shower head.
- 50" TV. Antenna for local channels and Roku for streaming with your own accounts.
- High speed wifi throughout the home. Gigabit service provided by Sparklight cable.
- The Master bedroom features luxury bedding, a luggage rack, blinds and curtains for darkness and privacy, dual nightstands with reading lamps, a King size bed, and walk-in closet with 4 a drawer dresser.
- The second bedroom offers two twin beds, 4 drawer nightstand with reading lamp and a kids reading nook in the closet with a light, bookshelves, bean bag and toy chest, still with ample space to hang clothing.
- The bathroom is bright and cheery with original shower tile and cast iron tub. The shower curtain liners are non-pvc, cleaned and changed frequently. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Shower/bath combo with detachable shower head. There is a magnifying mirror on the counter in the bathroom.
- The front yard is all yours with a front porch, two chairs, a large shade tree and a 4 foot fence with gate that encloses the space so you can let a pup roam free. The back is a private space for the host and there is a privacy fence that blocks view from the windows facing the back yard. The home is on a 1/3 acre with the second bedroom of this "duplex" joined by one (sound proof) wall.
- A fantastic and endless walking, hiking and mountain bike trailhead begins only 3 houses away and leads to a nearby playground at Eagle Rock Park, the Idaho Botanical Gardens and celebrated Boise hikes up Eagle Rock and Table Rock.
Dogs:
We allow dogs with approval. There is a $45 non-refundable fee per dog, fee handled through the airbnb resolution center after you've booked. Long term stay dog fees are negotiable. Dogs that bark disruptively or dig in the yard are not welcome. Please pick up after your dog.
LGBTQIA Friendly.
House Rules:
*Quiet Hours are between 9pm – 8am.
*There cannot be more than 4 people in or on the property at one time and no more than 4 occupants overnight.
*We do offer late check out and early check in, when possible, for a modest additional fee for our cleaners. An unplanned late check out really affects our cleaner's schedule. If you do not arrange a late checkout in advance, there is a $55 fee. If you do not checkout by noon, you will be charged an additional night's stay.
*This is a non-smoking house. $500 smoke mitigation fee will apply if smoking of any variety is found.
*Please remove shoes when entering the home to protect the flooring and reduce dirt intrusion.
*1-2 well behaved dogs are allowed. There is a pet servicing fee of $45/pet. This is a one time charge that will be requested via the Airbnb resolution center after you have booked. Please remove any dog droppings and dog hair before checking out. If pet hair or waste causes additional cleaning expense the expense will be billed to you. If discovered any unauthorized pets will need to be immediately removed and a pet mitigation charge of $500 will apply.
*Events (like a baby shower, reception, birthday party, etc) are not allowed. Unauthorized events will be subject to a minimum charge of $1500. Additional charges for damage may also apply.
*Friendly reminder to please use the provided black towel for face make-up. So many of our towels and pillowcases are stained by oil based make-up and our professional laundry service can't even bust these stains. We appreciate you helping us conserve our linens.
*Sometimes it's hard to know what sound level is too much so we use a noise monitoring device. It won't invade your privacy because it does NOT record actual sounds or conversations, it only monitors the ambient noise level (measured in decibels). If it goes off, it gives us a chance to warn you that your sound level is such that it could upset our neighbors.
*If a failure to follow the house rules impacts the next guest's stay and causes us to need to discount or refund that next guest you agree to be responsible for the resulting cost.
