About this property

Beachy Tiki on the Water!

Beautiful 1 bedroom, 1 bath vacation getaway. Spacious and bright, this 860 sq. ft apartment is attached to the rear of my home and is the perfect place to stay. We are centrally located to shopping, restaurants, beaches, the new baseball complex, and everything else the Palm Beaches has to offer. This property is NOT on the beach but is on an inland waterway with water views. I call it Beachy Tiki for the decor, not the location.
Recently remodeled, open concept, totally new kitchen, with large island with granite countertops and barstool seating, garbage disposal, stainless steel refrigerater with icemaker and a dishwasher. Also provided are plates, silverware , coffee mugs, and glasses. There is NO stove, but there is a microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and crockpot and a gas grill outside. Who cooks on vacation anyway? But there is a washer and dryer for your laundry needs .
Beautiful queen size bed and plenty of space for clothes with a walk in closet. Adjoining bathroom features new sink and vanity.
Relax under the tiki hut enjoying the water views. Watch the fish jump and see the pelicans and other bird life that live around the salt water lagoon. There is a swimming pool for your use, and even kayaks if you want to explore a bit. Walk to the fine waterfront seafood restaurant around the corner. A convenience store and gas station is also just steps away. No parties allowed!

Jen and Karen (and Jersey!) were delightful hosts and we really had a great time. Perfect setting for a 2-week vacation (even though I was ill and in bed a lot) the atmosphere was perfect! Kudos to the crew for making our stay so pleasant….we’ll be back again!!!

Lovely stay at this poolside cottage on the water. I wouldn't recommend the fishing... unless you like catfish. Overall a nice, quiet retreat

Very quiet neighborhood, lovely location. Karen was extremely friendly and her restaurant recommendation for "the catch " was fantastic. The property was clean and the bed was comfy. We loved the seating area next to the pool at nighttime.

Great house, beautiful view, close to amenities!

We enjoyed our stay at Karen's VRBO. It rained or was overcast the whole time we were there, but we hung out on the patio under the Tiki roof, and it was lovely! It was within walking distance of a couple neat places. We ate at Debra's Cafe, which had excellent breakfast. We also enjoyed espresso and freshly-baked Cuban pastries at Tulipan. Highly recommended!

Beautiful, well-stocked apartment

Absolutely no complaints. The apartment is large, comfortable, very well-stocked and in a beautiful location. We were in town for an event at the Palm Beach convention center and the location was an easy 10 minute drive. Host was great and we would definitely stay here again.

Beachy Tiki a fun place!

Open concept layout is fabulous. Easy to prepare meals....using the cooktop and grill is great! We ate outside on the patio overlooking the water almost every day. And it was spacious enough to have company for dinner. Great restaurant around the corner,The Catch, so convenient after we checked in! Karen the host is extremely accommodating. Great getaway

Property was clean, well kept and comfortable. More than enough space within the apartment. Pool and amenities were fantastic, including the dock. Mike and Karen have everything there for you, including cookware, coffee machine with sugar and creamer, sunscreen, beach towels, beach chairs, shampoo/conditioner. A good Stay

We had a couple of issues with the property but these were dealt with by Karen/Jennifer. The property is a very good size especially for 2 people, living area and kitchen is really good and had everything you would need. The bedroom was a great size and had a walk in wardrobe - not a complaint but I would say it could use a bigger bed. The pool and pool area are decent and a nice place to relax, we had the pool to ourselves. The water pressure in the bathroom sink could be better, again not a complaint just an observation. The area is great, loads to do on the doorstep and loads of great things just a short drive away - Jupiter, Juno, Flying lady boat tours to name a few. The only negative was that the great reviews were also based on how good the host is and for our trip the host was also on vacation so we didnt get to experience that. All in all, you'll be happy you booked

Wildy Unprofessional

Wildly Unprofessional We checked in on October 7th, we received no information prior to our arrival. Luckily the property is connected to the main house where there are full time tenants that we were able to ask what the code was to enter the unit. We were told on October 8th how to enter the home by Karen. Upon entry into the unit, the smell of cat pee was overwhelming. Karen says that no cats are allowed in the unit itself, but clearly the tenants in the main house (which is only separated from the unit by a door) have cats that they do not clean up after regularly. The overwhelming smell caused me to have a major allergic reaction as I’m very allergic to cats. The unit is not very “private” at all. You can hear everything going on in the main house, the backyard is shared and the tenants can see you through the back windows. The pool is dirty. We had to cut our trip short and leave on October 8th due to the state mandatory evacuation because of Hurricane Milton. I requested a partial refund because of this from Karen. We agreed on $250, and she asked for my cashapp (at the time I didn’t know VRBO frowned upon third party payments) I provided her with my cashapp and then I didn’t hear anything from her for 4 days (10/12). I contacted VRBO support to let them know about the issue and request the refund. From there they asked me to contact her and ask her to respond to their email. I called her on Sunday (10/13), throughout that day I was on the phone with her at least 6

Enjoyed our visit to the Beachy Tiki. Great inlet location with relaxing reviews. Enjoyed a dip in the pool and casting a couple lines from the dock. Plenty of amenities in the area. A nice spot to get away for a couple days.
