Swanky Casa Ocean Beach 1 Block to the Beach W A/C
PLEASE NOTE: A new unit is slated to be built on a seperate lot behind the home. Currently there is no construction activity, Please ask for updates.
Two bedrooms & prime location! 250 steps to the beach 2 blocks the mainstreet. Split system A/C for independent control of each bedroom. Amenities include surfboards, bikes, & beach toys. Ocean Beach offers numerous bars/restaurants including the famous Hodad's & OB Noodle House, antique stores, & weekly Farmer's Market. Excellent walkability to the beach and mainstreet with local restaurants and shops.
This well kept and clean beach house has 2 bedrooms with high quality queen beds & comfortably sleeps 6. Bedroom 1 has one queen bed. Bedroom 2 has Queen Bunk beds (Queen upper and Queen Lower) The living room has a full size pullout bed that can sleep an additional 2 small people & a large couch w chaise lounge for comfortable seating & movie watching. The two bedrooms have independently controlled A/C units. The bedrooms are connected via a modern bathroom with high end bidet. An open floor plan with an elevated counter bar joins the kitchen & living room. Natural clay walls keep the space feeling dry & cool.
The backyard has a large pergola with lounge seating & bench table that seats six. The front patio has a table for dining, lounge seating, & peak ocean views.
This is a single family residence & space is not shared. Although the house is close to everything & the street is usually quiet, you are at the beach. Weekends & holidays can be festive & busy. Like all of Ocean Beach and Point Loma we are in the flight path
Located just 2 blocks from Newport Avenue (the mainstreet) the home has great walkability to beach, bars, and shopping.
Things to Note:
Although the house is close to everything, the street is generally quiet especially considering its proximity to the beach. Ocean Beach is a community & a bit of a throwback. OB has a different vibe than the fraternity/sorority feel of Pacific Beach or tourist attractions of Mission Beach. OB has been dubbed the last real beach town in Southern Ca.
Please keep in mind you are staying at the beach, it can be festive, busy, and crowded during holidays, select weekends and durning events. Generally Ocean Beach is mello but this is Southern California not Martha’s Vineyard :)
Ocean Beach & the entire Point Loma area are in the flight path. Luckily the San Diego airport (our military excepted) does not allow jets to take off between 11:30 pm & 6:30 am. Of course some days are busier than others.
Ocean Beach & southern ca does have its share of homeless. Generally they are non aggressive & harmless.
Respectfully THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE and although we are dog lovers they are not allowed. Quiet times are 9 pm and strictly enforced.
Parking
Street parking is available we do not currently have off street parking. Saratoga Avenue has open street parking however it can be busy especially on weekends and in the evening. Walkability is very good from the house and rideshares UBER and LYFT are readily available & recommended.

Why they chose this property
Located just two blocks from the main street with numerous shops bars and restaurants. Everything is a short walk however just far enough away :)
