Vacances dans le cadre d’une cure thermale à Cambo les bains. Le jardin est fabuleux et le calme assuré. Le parking ombragé est très appréciable. L’accès au studio n’est pas conforme à la photo de l’annonce (qui représente l’entrée de la propriétaire). Pour l’entrée réelle du gîte, voir photo (chemin gravillonné puis dallé avant les trois marches d’escalier annoncées dans le descriptif).L’espace plain-pied devant les volets est agréable bien qu’assez étroit.Pas de machine à laver privative (on utilise celle de la propriétaire dans son garage).Mme Gette est une personne sympathique, réactive et prête à rendre service.Bon séjour reposant malgré ces petites remarques.

Die Gastgeberin ist sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung war sauber und gut augestattet.Tipp für die Anfahrt: Nicht bei den Müllcontainern sondern bereits vorher an der Bushaltestelle abbiegen.

Nette, einfache Unterkunft mit freundlicher Gastgeberin

Wir sind superfreundlich empfangen worden: da wir unsere Ferienunterkunft nicht finden konnten, war unsere Gastgeberin so lieb, uns am Supermarkt abzuholen und uns den Weg zur Unterkunft zu zeigen. Die Ferienwohnung ist einfach aber zweckdienlich eingerichtet: alles, was für einen vorübergehenden Aufenthalt nötig ist, war vorhanden: 2-Plattenkocher, Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle, Bett, Sessel, Fernseher, Geschirr, Besteck, eine schöne Dusche mit genügend Wasserdruck, (habe ich in Frankreich auch schon anders erlebt), die Möglichkeit zum Wäschewaschen,.... Die Gastgeberin ist freundlich und steht bei Problemen gerne mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, ist aber nicht nicht aufdringlich sondern respektiert die Privatsphäre. Es war schön ruhig und wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen,... es gibt nur eine winzige Anmerkung: Es wäre schön gewesen, wenn es über der Tür ein kleines Vordach gegeben hätte, damit ich beim Rauchen, während es regnet, nicht nass geworden wäre. Aber das ist "jammern auf hohem Niveau" und ändert nichts daran, dass wir uns gut erholt haben und unsere Ferien genossen haben.

Une semaine au pays basque

Découverte des plus beaux villages basques, St jean pied de port, Espelette, Ainhoa, Cambo les Bains.....etc..la fabuleuse maison Arnaga de Edmond Rostand et ses magnifiques jardins. Saint Jean de Luz,le chemin du littoral. Concert d'un chœur d'hommes, chants basques en l'église St Laurent de Cambo les Bains, très belle surprise. .

Les gens Basque sont avenant, le climat est toujours humide. Le logement est limite insalubre car abscence totale de ventilation, au bout d une semaine les sacs et autres affaires étaient couvertes de moisissures ! Par ailleurs, le logement est le long de la route très fréquentée

Trois détails seulement à améliorer : le frigidaire manque d'une étagère (disponible sur Amazon pour 30 euros, modèle California accessible par Google) ; ce serait bien de changer les deux oreillers un peu "fatigués" ; et de réajuster la fermeture des 2 volets.
