Perfect for what I needed it for.
This was a nice place that was exactly what I needed it for during a conference in town. Easy to check in and easy to get to where I needed to go, small and cozy little area. Would definitely stay again when the time comes

The host are very hard to reach. Had issues finding which room is mine. Part of it was VRBO not giving me their number.

Heights
Small just like they stated. I’m sensitive to smells and there was a small unpleasant odor so I burnt a coconut candle part of the time. There was a sign about old pipes and not to flush anything but toilet tissue. Great location, easy to downtown, beautiful paintings on buildings. Need to get rid of slippery rug - an accident waiting to happen. I had a great stay sorry I had to leave early but had a emergency back home.

About the host

Host profile image
I am native to Tampa. My family has been in this area since the 1940's. My family has lived and worked on this property since the early 1980's. I can provide lots of information; not only about Tampa, but all of Florida.

Why they chose this property

My father bought this property in 1985 and has done multiple renovations throughout the years; most of which he has done himself. The building started out as a mechanics shop in the 1920's (many Ford Model T's are still buried in the parking lot) and was used as a hardware store up until the late 1970's. The apartments behind the building were used as long term rentals and the Tiny House was originally the laundry room for those apartments.
