A few reviews from Airbnb:
This is the most beautiful, stylish, gorgeously decorated and spacious apartment. Honestly you'd struggle to find a nicer place to stay anywhere. The bedrooms are HUGE and all the artwork is just lovely. Really comfortable, spotlessly clean and all in all just a great place to stay! Misti and Will are wonderful hosts and were so friendly and helpful - they clearly love their town and their enthusiasm and dedication to its revival and regeneration is a true inspiration. The world needs more people like this. Helena itself is a real delight - like a time capsule. Aside from things being closed on a Monday! The cultural centre is amazing - we popped there for a quick look and ended up spending a couple of hours. Misti and Will have great local knowledge and recommendations and that made our stay even nicer. We were only here one night but honestly wish we had stayed longer. Our boys loved the little playroom and the musical instruments and it was so thoughtful to provide them a ball to play in the garden and offer board games for them. This is definitely one of the best Airbnb you'll ever stay in and I highly highly recommend it. -Tamsin, Manchester, United Kingdom
This was such a great place to stay, and for a great price! Myself and 5 other comfortably stayed her during the weekend while visiting the casinos. Misti and Will are very sweet and kind people - the hospitality was exceptional! Two thumbs up! 👍🏾👍🏾 - Michael, Nashville, TN
Communication with Misti was seamless and pleasant leading up to my visit. Upon my arrival, she greeted me with kindness and helpful advice for things to do around the neighborhood and at the local King Biscuit Blues Festival. Historic Helena has many beautiful and interesting sights including Misti and Will's beautiful home built in 1910. local businesses new and old, the Mississippi River levee walk, and Civil War battlegrounds and cemeteries. Misty and will were generous hosts, offering us a delicious homemade breakfast each day we stayed in their clean, comfortable, beautifully-kept home. They were also lovely to talk to and a wealth of knowledge on Helena and the region. My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Helena largely because of the generosity offered by Misti and Will. We look forward to returning in in the near future! - Cate, NYC, NY

About the host
Hosted by Misti Staley
Misti is originally from Atlanta. Will is originally from Little Rock. We have both lived in a few different places and we most recently moved from Brooklyn, NY to Historic Helena, Arkansas. Home of the Blues! There are many music festivals throughout the year highlighting not only blues music but also rockabilly, gospel, jazz, and more. The Warfield Concert Series brings well known ballets, operas, and musicals to this small delta town all to be enjoyed at no cost!
What brought us to Helena? Will runs Thrive- A non-profit whos mission is to create jobs and increase the quality of life in rural America through design. Thrive runs the Phillips County Entrepreneur Center, helping others start small businesses through business plan writing, website design, logo design, etc. They also put on the Cherry Street Fair portion of Helena Second Saturdays- A monthly music and arts festival on Cherry St. from April-Sep.
Misti is an artist as well. Painting commissioned portraits, murals, teaching art classes to children and adults, and running Gossamery Finishes; a faux finishing business.
We both enjoy traveling, we actually met in Paris while traveling through Europe. We enjoy gardening, running, and biking.
As hosts we are always here to help and during the King Biscuit Blues Festival get ready for a big breakfast in the dinning room while talking with other guests!
As guests we love to find out about where you live and the culture of your area.

Why they chose this property
Will and Misti are available and easy to reach at all times of day during your stay. A map of Helena will be provided and we'll give you lots of activity tips!
What makes this property unique
Our dog Clara is very sweet. She is 10ish years old; we adopted her from the Humane Society of the Delta when she was 2 or 3. She is never in the upstairs apartment; however if you need some doggie loving time she will be happy to give some cuddles.
