Very nice studio on the river in downtown Strasbourg

Beautiful renovated studio in downtown Strasbourg, 5 minutes walk from the Christmas market (Place Broglie), 10 minutes walk from the Cathedral and 15 minutes walk from the train station.

This sunny 35m2 studio, facing south, enjoys a very beautiful view of the river and the center of Strasbourg.

Ideal for a couple, or a couple with children, it has a double bed, a double sofa bed and a cot on request.

The separate kitchen has an oven, four hotplates, a dishwasher, a microwave, a Nespresso coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster.

The bathroom has a shower and a washer / dryer.

The apartment is located on the 3rd floor (no elevator).

Broadband wifi is included.

Bed linen and towels are provided.

Arrivals are scheduled after 5 p.m., and departures for 11 a.m., but can be done at other times with the agreement of the owners.

Great place to stay

Amazing place to stay in Strasbourg. Easy 15 minute walk from the train station. Location to cathedral and other sights is within walking distance. Host is very attentive and very friendly. We would definitely stay here again! Great stay!!!

The studio apartment with a view of the canal was a perfect home base for exploring Strasbourg. We had everything we needed and the hosts were wonderful. We would recommend this property to anyone who wants to experience a relaxing 'live like the locals' vacation.

Excellent location to visit Strasbourg centre

The location is perfect for visiting the Strasbourg centre. The kitchen is adequately stocked for cooking; there’s plenty of hot water & excellent wifi. It is comfortable enough for 2 adults but would be challenging for a family of 4 to stay for a number of days.

Thank you for this great review! As advertised, it is a studio apartment of 35m2, which we generally rent for a maximum of 2 people, but occasionally (upon request) we have hosted two parents with a young child, who is generally comfortable on the pull-out couch.

Totally lovely!

The apartment is exactly like the pictures: a spacious, light-filled studio, efficient kitchen, good shower in the bathroom. The location is great. The host has provided maps and guides to the city that are very helpful. I loved my stay here, 10/10 would choose again!

Simply great!

This is very clean, modern and well equipped apartment. It is located just across old town, and view from the windows is beautiful. Gienia is very easy to communicate, great host!

A truly great rental experience

Gienia and Ian are exceptionally kind and hospitable hosts. Their apartment is perfectly located in Strasbourg within an easy walk of everything, and it is very well equipped for a comfortable and relaxing stay. They will be my first choice when I return to Alsace.

Perfect location

Quiet, comfortable, and immaculate apartment within walking distance of the city center, shops, and the tram. Gienia and Ian are very welcoming and provide the essentials and modern conveniences. Be prepared for tackling the steps at the end of your day, but it is worth it to be able to rest in this charming home.

This was a lovely apartment in the heart of Strasbourg! Directly across from the river was the old city center with the cathedral only blocks away. The location couldn't have been any better. Gienia was the perfect host and was super helpful (and I was grateful she spoke English). I only stayed 2 days and would stay again upon my next visit.

Great location and awesome host.

This property is in a great location with convenient access to many parts of Strasbourg--the main old part of town in particular. The transit systems make it easy to get to areas a little further. My adult daughter &I spent 3 nights here and felt comfortable in our surroundings. It's not fancy and like many places in France, be prepared to hike the stairs with luggage in tow. Gienia was a lovely host. We would go back.

Short stay at Strasbourg

The location of the apartment is perfect to visit the city. You don't need a car. Giania is a very kind host. She offered us flexible times for check-in and check-out, which was really nice for our plans. She also helped with information about parking options in the city. She lives in the same building and the communication via messages was very uncomplicated.

I could not have picked a better location in Strasbourg. I was a 10-15 minute walk from almost everything I wanted to see, and there was a grocery store right around the corner. The unit was well-equipped with dishwasher, washer/dryer, and full kitchen. The host was also very responsive, which was appreciated. Throughout my trip, the host responded almost immediately to my various questions about the city, cultural differences, and where to buy certain things. I definitely look forward to return to Strasbourg and staying here again!!

Top Ten

Staying in this lovely little apartment for the month of November was a pure pleasure! Here is my top ten list for this wonderful flat. 1. The view is incredible. There is no direction that you can look that doesn’t take your breath away. The first thing that I would do in the morning is sit and enjoy the sunrise over the city right outside my window. Instead of watching TV at night we would look out the window. 2. The gorgeous sunlight that streams in the tall windows make this apartment absolutely shine. It also keeps things warm and cozy. 3. The lovely owner lives upstairs and is very responsive. She also sent us regular suggestions about wonderful things to do in the city and nearby. 4. Close to everything. We barely used the trams as we could walk everywhere! 5. The place is absolutely spic’n’span clean! 6. Everything that we needed to cook our meals during our long stay was available in the well-equipped kitchen. 7. The building was quiet and peaceful…except for the lovely strains of someone practicing the piano, which only added to the atmosphere. 8. Close to several delicious patisseries. Our favorite was the Barthelemy on Place Broglie. 9. Near two beautiful churches—both named St. Pierre Le Jeune. We could hear the lovely pealing of the bells in the evenings. 10. A neighborhood that was near everything, but not in the very center which can be very crowded especially at this time of year.
