We had a wonderful stay at the Protea Villa in Phalaborwa. Marie-Therese was helpful and communicated well. We appreciated the Villa's proximity to the Kruger National Park Gate and local grocery stores.

Unvergesslicher Start in SA

Tolle Unterkunft, architektonisch sehr ansprechend, gemütlich eingerichtet, sehr gepflegt und sauber. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend. Vergessene Kleidungsstücke wurden wie selbstverständlich umgehend nachgesandt. Herausragender Guid für eine Safari wurde uns von Ingrid vermittelt - Ihre Tipps und Kontakte sind Spitze!

Geweldige locatie

Wij verbleven van 15 mrt t/m 30 mrt in Protea, een fijn vakantiehuis met prima voorzieningen. Het huis is smaakvol ingericht en is van alle gemakken voorzien, van heerlijk slapen onder de klamboe, tot vertoeven op de grote veranda met uitzicht op mooie natuur. ‘S avonds barbecueën op de veranda en als we geen zin hadden om te koken naar het restaurant op de lodge. Sabrina’s, een vrolijke tante, maakte het huis voor ons schoon, bedden werden opgemaakt, etc. Tot onze verbazing werd de BBQ ook nog door iemand schoongemaakt, wat een luxe. Protea gelegen op Sefaphane Lodge was voor ons dagelijks het vertrekpunt om er op uit te gaan maar ook ons rustpunt na bijvoorbeeld een Safari-dag, het was gewoon fijn om weer thuis te komen, zo voelde het aan. Kortom een fijne locatie om een stukje van Zuid Afrika te ontdekken.

The villa, location, facilities and staff exceeded all our expectations. Amazing!

We travelled to SA as a family with children aged 14, 12 and 11. This was a perfect place to stay for all the family. The Villa is well equipped with everything you need and the daily housekeeping was an unexpected bonus. The on site restaurant, bar and pools were perfect for all the family and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. With only a 5 minute drive to the gate of the Kruger it is a perfect location for exploring this amazing park. The local town is a short drive and has a good choice of restaurants and shops. We were a little apprehensive of the drive from Johannesburg airport but this proved to be an addition to our holiday and allowed us to see the stunning scenery of this part of the country. We would strongly recommend this Villa to all and very much hope to be able to visit again.

Great Safe Home

We recently stayed at this wonderful Home located in a secure community within a resort. The home is gated and the entrance was less than 5 minute drive to Kruger Park entrance. Shopping was also a 5 minute drive; as well as great five star restaurants. The home was clean, safe and tastefully decorated in South Africian style. The internet connection was fast. The check in and check out process was easy and the owners were very easy to work with. Highly recommend this Home and would visit again on my next visit to South Africa.

Einfach Grandios!

Liebe Marie-Thérèse, es war ein traumhafter Aufenthalt in Eurer schönen Protea Villa! Ihr habt die Villa sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es sind keine Wünsche offen geblieben. In den nächsten drei Jahren werden wir uns bestimmt noch ein paar mal bei Euch einmieten. Liebe Grüße Ingo.

Reetdachhaus direkt am Krüger

Im Februar 2015 durften wir (2 Ehepaare) das wunderschöne Haus in der ruhigen und sehr sicheren Anlage Sefapane in Phalaborwa bewohnen. Das Haus ist sehr groß, komplett ausgestattet und in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand. Auf der schönen Gesamtanlage mit 2 Pools befindet sich ein empfehlenswertes, fußläufig erreichbares Restaurant . Die Betreuung war in jeder Hinsicht bestens und wir können das Haus absolut empfehlen

Een stukje paradijs op aarde....

Protea is een prachtige vakantiewoning op een schitterend park, vlakbij de Phalaborwa ingang tot het Kruger Park. De fantastische keuken en het vriendelijke personeel maken het geheel compleet! Wij komen graag nog een keertje terug!

Wonderful villa with paradise feeling

We can highly recommend this wonderful villa set in the well-kept lush Sefapane park. Nicely decorated, clean and proper and the perfect place for a wonderful holiday that gave us chance to lazy relaxing at the pool, evening safaris and new year festivities in the friendly Sefapane restaurant. A place in paradise.
