Description of the apartment -
Bright two bedroom and 2 bathroom apartment with very high ceilings, two open balconies and one enclosed balcony, on 2nd floor, with elevator. This apartment still has the 100+ years old mosaic floors (a different design in every room) and the original woodwork on the doors and windows. The apartment sleeps 4 people on one Queen size and one double bed. The ideal occupancy would be 4 people.

Description of location -
In the historic Eixample, built 1850-1910 during the golden age of the city, when the emigrants to the Americas where returning and investing their earnings back in the city. The beautiful buildings, most of them recently restored, reflect an age of plenty.

Transportation -
The apartment can be reached by taxi from the airport. It is close to the Verdaguer metro station, which sits on two metro lines. There are plenty of bus lines and also the taxi lane runs in front of the building.

About the management -
· We are a small family company. Lauren is from Dallas, TX and Fernando is from Barcelona, Spain. We currently run 16 holiday apartments in Barcelona, 2 furnished homes in Dallas, and 7 apartments in Istanbul, Turkey. We will be opening apartments in Kiev, Ukraine, soon.

Apartment in great location only a few blocks away from Sagrada Familia. Very nice balcony to watch passerby’s and the city life.

Enjoyed the old world charm of the apartment. Good location and could walk to Sagrada and the Gothic Quarter. Pillows were very hard and other units were partying loudly until 6 am so not a very quiet place.

Incredible location and so much charm in the unit!

We spent 4 days in this charming apartment. It is centrally located for everything we wanted to see. (Our focus was Gaudi) We did a tour of the Monserrat Monestary and horseback riding, which got us out of the city. We want to give a shout-out to great breakfast spot, Gabby’s! just a few blocks from this wonderful apartment.

Spanish charm in excellent location

Property was just as listed and expected. It is located up one floor from main entrance so not a problem if unsure of elevator. Main bedroom is larger, as is bathroom with second bedroom being internal and bathroom very small. Shower is tricky for a larger person but it worked. Kitchen has what you need if you were needed to cook and laundry was a bonus. Location is on a busy corner but is within 10 minutes walk of Sagrada and Gaudi houses in other direction. Lovely restaurants with good prices for breakfast lunch and dinner just outside the door. If you don’t mind a noisier spot (which was quiet overnight for sleeping) then this place can’t be beat for location an value.

Great location & communication

I stayed here for 3 nights. It was very clean, and the staff was very responsive and helpful with holding luggage. The location is great- surrounded by amazing cafes, restaurants, and shops. It’s only about a 15 minute walk to La Sagrada Familia. Taxis very easy to get in this area. Would definitely recommend!!

Excellent central location

Very nice apartment with original woodwork and floors. Very comfortable queen sized bed. The washer and dryer and full kitchen worked well. Markets and restaurants and pharmacies along the street. Make sure to visit the rooftop as you can see the Sagrada Familia from there, just a walk away. Metro stop Verdaguer just up the street and Metro will take you around the city. We would love to come back.

Great place for a week in Barcelona.

The owners were very responsive. Lots of great dining options within 5 minutes in any directions. Easy to walk to things.Less than 10 minute walk to Sagrada Familia. Full size kitchen (not that we used) and initial things such as coffee to get you started. Overall, very happy with apartment. Billies Cafe around the corner great place for breakfast and great pizza/pasta one block to left of front door on right side of the street.

Perfect Location

I loved my month is this apartment and I would stay there again if I ever return to Barcelona. I had originally looked for an apartment in Old Town, but am so glad I pick one in Eixample District instead--more sidewalk cafes and services within easy walking distance to the apartment and still close enough to walk to most sites. The apartment is wonderful--old tile floors and really high ceilings, a great balcony, but up to date appliances. Note that the neighborhood is lively and there is street noise, but I found closing the solid wood doors quieted the bedroom enough for me to sleep. Highly recommend both the apartment and the management.

Beautiful building and very good location

All arrangements were done very professionally. When arrived, a designated person came to the apartment shortly after we were in. She went over all issues and concerns carefully and was very responsive to our inquiries. The building is very nice and the apartment as well. The furniture is in good condition and all other amenities are accommodating. The reason I took a point away is just because when sleeping on the mattress in master bedroom one would sink into the mattress rather deep. Maybe this issue has been already noted and addressed but if not, I would suggest the owner/management to take my suggestion/comment to hear and replace the mattress. My wife, my two daughters loved the apartment's location and the easy access to a lovely fresh market just down minutes away - nearby there are a number of very good restaurants for any occasion. Excellent location: La Rambla in walking distance (15 minutes)... So, we loved our stay in this apartment and would certainly stay here again if we should plan to return to Barcelona.

Great location

We definitely recommend this apartment. We were 2 retired couples and this apartment was perfect. Two full sized bedrooms, although the second one was on the small side, as well as two full bathrooms. Would be perfect for a family as well. We arrived earlier than we had expected and the apartment was not ready. We were allowed to lock our luggage in a secure area which left us free to visit this beautiful city. When the apartment was read, we received a phone call to let us know. Katia, the greeter, met us there and gave us a complete rundown of the area. The apartment was as pictured - very charming with beautiful tiled floors and high ceilings, retaining the old world charm but still providing all of the modern amenities. There was a small balcony overlooking the neighborhood as well as a shared rooftop terrace.Great place to enjoy a glass of wine after a long day of sightseeing. The apartment is conveniently located, very close to the Sagrada Familia and a short taxi ride to other attractions. There was a small coffee shop across the street, La Crema, for morning cappuccino and a croissant as well as sandwiches and snacks. If we ever return to Barcelona, and I hope we do, I would definitely stay here.

Perfect apartment!

We really enjoyed our one-week stay in this apartment! Charming old-world feel, very spacious and well maintained. The tall ceiling is our #1 favorite feature, it makes the rooms seem so grand! Our #2 favorite feature is the large windows/doors that open to the balcony, with view of the gorgeous Sant Francesc cathedral across the street. Nicely furnished, good lighting (although the bathrooms could use more light above the sink) and excellent air condition system. The beds are comfortable, we slept like babies! 1 Large bathroom (love the huge bathtub!) and another small en-suite bathroom with plenty of plush towels. Kitchen has modern appliances, including flat-top stove, microwave, and dishwasher. We also liked the washer and dryer in the kitchen. Extremely convenient location, we walked to some nice restaurants in the neighborhood, one large fruit/vegetable market, a supermarket and bakery, etc. The famous Passeig de Gracia shopping district and Gaudi’s Casa Batllo are only 5 blocks away. Subway is also nearby, where we took the train to go to the beach and visit the Aquarium. Even though it is facing a busy intersection, the apartment is quiet at night, especially with all the windows closed. Wi-Fi connection went down once and management fixed it quickly. Kind, friendly staff. Many thanks to the wonderful manager Marielle for all her assistance. Highly recommend this apartment. Tip: Don’t forget to take the elevator to the roof-top terrace, the view is spectacular!

Very nice apartment. It would be nice to have a wardrobe in the master bedroom since there is no closet. The second bedroom is quite small as is the second bathroom, but still big enough for 2. Kitchen is roomy and with updated appliances. Many restaurants within walking distance. A nice outside bar just outside the main entrance.

Canadians staying in Spain

Spacious, great location. Allowed for an early check-in which was greatly appreciated. Lift unfortunately was not working but we were only on the second floor, out of the owners control but something to note for others. Apartment was well equipped and comfortable.

Great Location

Great location. Loved the older building, tall ceilings, and beautiful tile floors. Clean, safe area, and well stocked kitchen. Super easy checkin with detailed instructions to keypad. Street noise may bother some- we closed the shutters and used a white noise app at night. I’m a light sleeper and slept just fine. Would definitely book this exact apartment again!
