Maison Magdeleine has been completely renovated and refurbished in 2020.

Maison Magdeleine is located in Rue Etienne Berny, between the port and the Place des Lices.
You are only one minute walk from the Port and one minute walk from the Place des Lices!

The alley Etienne Berny guarantees peace and serenity: it is a pedestrian lane without shops and cars, very calm and typically Provencal!
The street is lined with houses with Provençal gardens.

You will find all the necessary comfort you need:
- air conditioning (or reversible heating),
- wifi
- swimming pool
- patio and southern terrace
- a free access to the covered parking Foch for one car
- fully equipped kitchen

Access from the ground floor to the first floor is only through exterior stairs.

The charm of the house lies in the pleasure of having a patio, a garden, a pool house and a beautiful swimming pool heated in april and june, september and october.

You will also have the benefice to have a free access to the covered car park "Parking Foch", located at 19, avenue de la Resistance, in Saint Tropez - 5 minutes walk from the house

Thanks to the fantastic location of the house, you will fully enjoy the atmosphere of Saint-Tropez, its shops and restaurants.

Provençal market is every Tuesday and Saturday on the Place des Lices, just on the corner of the street :)

Enduring perfection

Our third stay and we love it here! Carine, the owner, takes such care to ensure that everything about Villa Magdeleine is stylish, luxurious, convenient, well-equipped, beautiful and altogether OUTSTANDING. Lovely town home

This was our second stay in Villa Magdelein and it was just as lovely as we remembered - in fact, more so, as it had been extremely tastefully and stylishly redecorated with a delightful new outdoor seating area and new indoor furnishings and artwork. We again appreciated the fantastic location of the villa, so quiet and peaceful, near to everything in the middle of town but an oasis at the same time. Thank you to Carine and Alexia for doing everything to make our stay so comfortable and for equipping the house with such attention to detail. Villa Magdelein truly feels like a home away from home.

Amazing place

I am amazed there isn’t a waiting list a million miles long for this place. Seriously, this is one of the best places I have ever stayed - and certainly the most interesting. The pictures posted do a good job showing the space, but it is a little hard to grasp the layout. You enter via a pedestrian street and it leads you to a central outdoor area, which is amazing. From there you can go into the salon and kitchen, or go up stairs to the 2 bedrooms. There are 3 outdoor seating areas, not to mention the pool (which we didn't use, but was nice to have around). I could go on about how interesting it was, but I'll leave it to the pictures.The location is excellent too. Turn to your left and you are at the harbor in a block. Turn to the right and you are maybe 2 blocks off a central square. There is a grocery, a pharmacy, and a million stores within easy walking distance.Great communication and helpfulness from Carine too. Overall I could not recommend this place more highly.

Not to miss -- perfectly located and charming

This gem is tucked away on a picturesque, narrow pedestrian lane just steps from all the action of the Vieux Port. The villa exceeded our expectations (even more beautiful to behold in person) and we found its ambiance just delightful. There are unique, multi-level, indoor/outdoor areas to enjoy, and we felt very privileged to stay in this gorgeously decorated, spacious, and well-looked after property. Carine, the owner, greeted us warmly upon arrival, and she made sure that we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We loved lingering at the outdoor table day and night, and the lush, walled-in back garden (beautiful flowering vines, orchids, and kiwis!) beside the pool provided stunning atmosphere. Bedrooms are large and very tastefully-appointed with top-quality linens and thoughtful furnishings, and the entire villa is graced with landscape paintings of the region. Beautiful large windows open onto the lane and the rooms are flooded with light. We were walking distance to every attraction St. Tropez has to offer: steps from the port in one direction, and steps to the famous bakery, La Tarte Tropezienne, and the Place des Lices (where a wonderful provencale market is held twice weekly) in another. Groceries, banks, restaurants, and stores of every description (boutiques, epiceries, confiseries, fromageries, wine shops, boucheries, gelaterias, cafes, Laduree are seconds away). The closest beaches are 10-15 minutes away on foot, and you can follow the Sentier du Littoral (coastal path) past the quaint Plage des Graniers for a walk of a few minutes or several hours. We took the Varlib bus (3 euros each way) to the Pampelonne beaches (a 10-minute bus trip through vineyards from the gare routiere, which is a 5-minute walk from the villa. There is also a free shuttle bus to Plage des Salins and other destinations that picks you up just in front of La Tarte Tropezienne at the end of the lane. There are also many day excursions offered to various points in the region run by the Bateaux Verts company (tickets can be purchased right at the port). We managed quite well without a car during our 16-day stay. The air conditioning was a nice bonus on hot days, and we were all quite comfortable! Many thanks to Carine for making our visit to Saint-Tropez so memorable by making her exquisite villa available for us to experience. It truly made our vacation more special!

Great Villa, great location

Fantastic villa in a great central location. Carine, the host, couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. The plunge pool was perfect after a hot day on the beach with central St Tropez only a few minutes walk away. Definitely coming back

Hidden Gem! Beautiful town house with welcoming pool

It was the first time we have visited this area and wanted something a little bit special, due to the fact it was my eldest sons birthday while away and my younger son leaves for 3 years at university. This certainly didn’t disappoint! The house is set in the most perfect location. And offers everything you would need for your stay. Shops, bars and restaurants are all within easy walking distance. Carine the owner kept in touch throughout the booking and the journey over to make sure we arrived safely. It has been a perfect holiday for us all, thank you for a wonderful time

5 Etoiles???

Jolie maison bien située dans le centre, proche du port et de la fplace des Lices. Cette maison peut difficilement accueillir 5 personnes! Il y a 4 chaises, 1 divan et 1 fauteuil! La cuisine est totalement sous- équipée! Pas de four, vaisselle minimum, 2 casseroles, pas de bouchon à l'évier, le panier du lave vaisselle est défectueux, etc! Les armoires des chambres ne ferment pas, et il n'y a aucune possibilté de pendre une veste au rez de chaussée! L'éclairage est minimaliste et il manque des ampoules partout! Bref, cette maison ne mérite certainement pas 5 étoiles !

Wonderful place in the center of town!

We had the most wonderful stay in this property in the center of town. The location is amazing and the layout is great with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The private pool was nice to take a dip after a day at the beach. Carine the property owner was very nice and answered all of our questions. We can't wait to go back next summer!

Wir waren das erste Mal in diesem Haus und waren begeistert! Die zentrale Lage ist sensationell, man ist mitten im Trubel aber wohnt im Haus in absoluter Ruhe. Das Haus selbst hat sehr viel Charme, man fĂŒhlt sich auf Anhieb sehr wohl. Die Schlafzimmer sind gemĂŒtlich aber auch sinnvoll eingerichtet, die sanitĂ€ren Einrichtungen sind auf modernem Stand. In der KĂŒche sind alle notwendigen GerĂ€te enthalten, die man fĂŒr einen entspannten Aufenthalt benötigt. Wir haben immer auf der Terrasse gefrĂŒhstĂŒckt und nachmittags ein Zwischenmal genommen. Man kann in diesem Haus richtig entspannen und einfach die Zeit vorbeiziehen lassen. Leider war es fĂŒr den Pool noch zu kalt, aber beim nĂ€chsten Mal werden wir diesen mit Sicherheit auch benutzen. Hier kann ich mir vorstellen, auch mal lĂ€nger zu wohnen, ich habe nichts vermisst!

Charming French Villa in the Heart of St. Tropez

An oasis of French country calm awaits the guests at Villa Madeleine in the heart of downtown St. Tropez, just around the corner from Sube Hotel in the middle of the old port one of the passageways up to Place des Lices. The two-story private villa is accessed by a covered entrance hallway that leads both into the downstairs large living room with back kitchen and opens onto the private garden with outdoor covered dining terrace as well as elevated pool with covered lounge. The two upstairs bedrooms have separate entrances and the master has a modern ensuite bathroom complete with large bathtub. Villa Madeleine is furnished with lovely French wooden antiques as well as a modern flatscreen TV with soundsystem, a perfect blend of old world charm and modern conveniences . All in all, one of the top values in St. Tropez at any time of the year. Be sure to book early!!

Beautiful house in ideal location

The house was very much as described - even better. Very well designed, decorated and furnished. Every possible appliance was provided. Rooms were all of a good size. Ideal for a couple like us or someone with two children. The pool was clean and well maintained and perfect for cooling off in hot weather. We would certainly recommend this house to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in central Saint Tropez.

St Tropezian for a week

What a fantastic house/home to spend a holiday in.Location perfect for harbour and Place d' Lice,but quiet and peaceful both day and night.Perfect for family of 4,and more spacious than we anticipated.Lap pool a godsend when temp hit 30 degrees and so private. Once again,lovely stay,brilliant location and would not hesitate to both recommend and return.

Lovely house with pool, Perfect Location!

We had a briliant holiday at this lovely house. It is central to everything. Turn left out the front door and you are in the lively atmosphere of St. Tropez harbour. Turn right out the front door and you are in the Places des Lices where the market takes place twice a week. You can nip in and out all day as the house is so close by. On returning down the lane to the peaceful house and relaxing pool you feel you are in another place, no noise from the hub of St. Tropez. the best of both worlds! A lovely house in a perfect location.

Quet House with a Pool in the centre of St. Tropez

Our little "Villa" in the centre of St. Tropez was amazing. We were less than one minute from where it was "all happening", but in our oasis had the most peaceful of all times. Our rooms very beautiful and very comfortable. We could not have been happier. Plenty of bathrooms to go around, a cosy kitchen and lovely outside living areas. Hoping to return again in 2015.

lovely litle townhouse with llap pool

Cosy little two bed two bath townhouse. Comfortable and very quiet within a pitching wedge from Place des Lices and the port. A quick dip in the pool every morning before strolling up to La Tarte Tropezienne for fresh bread and croissants, still warm from the oven. All the shopping and restaurants around the corner yet peacefull bliss at home
