Cottage Charm, 3 Bedrooms - 10 Minutes to Starved Rock!

Escape the city for the weekend and stay in this entire, private home, located just minutes from Starved Rock State Park and tons of other fun outdoor activities!

This stylish and bright 3 bedroom, 1 ½ bath home has everything you need for your getaway! So, pack a weekender bag and head down to Starved Rock Country.

Relax in the platform beds with memory foam mattresses and crisp, white linens and feather duvets.

Get your chef on in the fully stocked kitchen with cookware and dinnerware for eight. All you need to bring is your imagination and a good bottle of wine.

The bathrooms are stocked with fresh towels and all the basic amenities- just pack a toothbrush.

This home is full of light, vibrant colors and designer touches.

If you have a dog, a pet fee is required: $25.00 / per stay. Maximum two dogs. NO CATS ARE ALLOWED. Simply let me know in your introductory email that you are bringing your dog and I will send the fee request. Thanks!

The home sleeps 8 guests.
The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed. There are two upstairs bedrooms- one has a queen bed (and available twin air mattress for a child) and the other has two twin beds. There is also a full size sleeper sofa in the living room downstairs.

(Major Holiday Weekends can only be booked for a minimum of Friday-Monday.)

STARVED ROCK STATE PARK is only 10 minutes away (The Lodge is a stand-out and the entertainment on the patio / bar is fantastic.)

The host was great. Great communication up front. When we arrived their was a welcome basket for our dog and bottled water. It was extremely clean. The description and pictures are 100% accurate whoich is always a plus! They had everything we needed for coooking. Plenty of games and a game room in the basement. Will probably always stay here now when I visit family in the area.

Amazing stay!

We had a great spring break stay and loved the house! The kids had so much fun playing air hockey and ping pong, there were treats for our pup, and we had plenty of room to spread out and relax after a long day of hiking. Also a great location- we had ice cream every day! Our kiddos insist we only stay here when we visit going forward- so much fun!

Wonderful stay at the Cottage Charm. Plenty of room for the four of us, everything was clean, the attention to detail was awesome. Every time I messaged the owner, I heard back very quick. Spring Break 2025

Very cozy comfortable stay that we felt so at home in. Nice location close to many varied things to do. It was lovely to be able to enjoy home cooked meals and conversation around the sinner table, yet enjoy a nice meal out with the choices in the area. Would definitely enjoy coming back to this area.

A sweet house in a lovely location

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this lovely cottage. Everything was thoughtfully arranged and the location made it easy to travel to Starved Rock and Ottawa while enjoying the best of LaSalle.

Perfectly appointed home!

The house was perfect, beautiful, hardwood floors, completely redone bathrooms with all of an older homes charm restored. There are all kinds of unique, thoughtful touches, including a working record player with plenty of albums to choose from. Just two blocks from the park, it is perfectly located. I would definitely recommend!
