This beautiful 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath lake home located on Jimmerson Lake, part of the Lake James chain, is a great year-round rental. The calendar just opened up for all your winter activities. Tobogganing at Pokagon State Park. Bonfire in the snow. Christmas movies and a large table for playing your favorite board games or putting together a puzzle. Perfect accommodations for lake lifers, weekend retreaters, and Trine University visitors. This home is located on a channel, that is mere feet to the openness of Jimmerson Lake. There is a sandy area for the little ones and plenty of dock space for your lake toys.

Living room that opens to dining room and kitchen on main level. Second living space on lower level.
Master bedroom on main floor with King bed and windows overlooking the lake. The master bedroom closet is big enough for a pack and play and a twin bed. It actually holds a set of bunk beds at this time.
The upstairs has three bedrooms requiring 2 king rooms and one queen room.

Full-Week Rentals from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Weeks run Friday to Friday.
Nightly rentals available fall through spring. Minimum 2 nights

We feel extremely blessed by God to have the opportunity to share this home with you. We (two brothers and a cousin) grew up vacationing at the lake every summer with our families. The memories we made during those amazing 7 days each year played a large part in our lives and the strong and lasting relationships we formed with our cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. The fact that none of this could have been possible for us without the willingness of families around the lake to open their homes to us back then inspired us to put the work into creating the best sort of place for you and yours to make your own lasting memories.

Perfect for a large family!

We love staying at this home. It is set up well for a large family, is comfortable and clean. The kids enjoy the small beach and the teens and adults appreciate the kayaks.

Perfect Stay on Jimmerson Lake

Awesome place—beautiful property, great location, and everything was just really well done. The house was exactly as advertised and worked perfectly for family time and hanging out with friends. Super smooth stay all around. We loved it. Would absolutely recommend.

Winter Family Getaway

We rented the house to host “Camp Cousin”. The kids all enjoyed the house especially the game room and Xbox 360. They also played the ultimate game of hide and seek! We loved having a table large enough to all eat together. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of blankets and pillows.

Wonderful family get away

We absolutely loved this place! This is our second year coming here and it is absolutely beautiful. There is plenty of space to spread out. We made so many memories playing games and all being able to eat at one table. We look forward to coming back again.

Christmas gift stay

Needs some attention to furniture as some is broken or not functional. Dryer didn’t work at all. Space was great for our large family. Kids loved the recreation room. Located near all the things we wanted to do. Clean and neat.

Family vacation

We had a fantastic time! Would love to stay here again. Plenty of room for our family of 11. The game room/garage was great on the rainy days. Love the large dinning table. Graduation weekend

We chose this property for our son’s graduation weekend. It was beautifully located on Lake James within walking distance of Tom’s donuts and several restaurants and an easy drive to the University. The home itself was spacious, comfortable and perfect for a large family. We grilled, played games in the well furnished garage, and used the fire pit. We could not have asked for better accommodations!

Weekend College Reunion

The property was excellent. The hostess was very responsive to our question pre arrival. We did have an issue with Wi-Fi. The owners did everything they could do to try to fix. Overall it is a great property and the house supplies excellent amenities.

Grandpa's 70 Birthday

Oh, the memories that were made. This was our first all inclusive vacation as a family. We took our pontoon for fishing and boating fun. The children swam fished, played football and enjoyed the kayaks provided. The home was spacious and well equipped. On Saturday we divided into groups of Pokagon hikers (6 and 10 miles), swimmers, fishermen and children watchers. Campfire in the evening. We are still talking about the wonder of watching the children on the deck and out in the water. We LOVED it!!!

Perfect for large families!

This lake front home is spacious with fun amenities, such as a game room, small beach, kayaks, fire pit and large tree to relax under. Kitchen is fully stocked and had two fridges. Plenty of space in home to spread out. The only downside to TJ is home was the AC froze up a couple of times, making the upper bedrooms very toasty. Property manager never responded to our concern.

Wonderful couples vacation!

My first impression was of a beautiful home! The decor was simple and pretty. Everything was very clean and put together. My husband and I stayed in the master suite and it’s huge! Big bedroom, big bath with large walk-in tiled shower and a massive walk-in closet! The bedding was comfortable. The bedrooms and bath upstairs looked clean and comfortable, also. There is a large living / dining area that easily accommodated all 6 couples. The view of the lake is gorgeous. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cookware, dishes, and utensils you’ll need. There’s lots of areas to play games inside and out. The yard is pretty level on the lakeside and our guys were able to play bocce ball with no problem. Plenty of parking and a managable walk to Tom’s Donuts! Loved everything about our stay!

Nice big house & lakeside

This house is very nice for a large family. In the winter time, the game room/garage was a bit COLD to enjoy, but on the summer time, I’m sure it would be a hit along with the downstairs TV room. Sure wish there was a shower in the basement along with the 1/2 bath. I’m not sure I would consider the basement bunk room a bedroom, since it’s more like bunks in a closet, but there’s lots of space for large families. We did not utilize the basement as we did not need the additional beds, but for a bunch of teens, it would be good. There is plenty of dining space in the dining room; nice kitchen with just about everything you would need to do all your cooking (we wish there was a Keurig coffee machine). Theres a great gas grill on the patio along with plenty of eating space as well. The yard area is great. The primary bedroom on the main floor is very nice sized along with an attached bathroom (wish there had been some hooks on the wall for wet towels/clothes, etc.), but otherwise was very nice. It was very nice there were 2 additional king size beds upstairs for add’l parents traveling. Checkin process was great along with all communication. The only downside we encountered, was the steep driveway (in the winter it could be very slippery and hard to get up/down with snow or ice); we just weren’t prepared for that, but it shouldn’t be much of a problem in the summer. We had a great stay and did not run into any issues with the home. We would definitely stay here again.
