A wooded and fenced 4000m2 with its natural lake and sun bathing beside unusual allow you to spend your holidays in peace.
On the terrace, you will enjoy the privacy and usability times.
Our cottage is ideal for a romantic weekend, holiday or anniversary.
The green surroundings of our lodging, the nearby forest, the animals in their wild environment fill you with admiration and make you live simple and favorable times.
At the end of our house, enjoy the walks or mountain biking (made available) to rejuvenate.
At 15 km, you can enjoy a fitness room, massage room, cardio and weight training.
7 km you will discover Wetland MUD, attracting a variety of birds, walks in the forest, his equestrian circle and indoor tennis court.
You will visit the city of Guise, his castle, the Familistere the Oise valley with its hidden corners, its natural deposits and descents in a canoe. The many fortified churches in Thiérache and Picardy.

Clean, modern family home in quiet rural location

This is a beautiful well cared for home and the owners are friendly and helpful. The area is very remote and quiet, perfect for a peaceful holiday to escape it all, however, the location does mean a fair bit of driving to find things to do. We were not aware of the 600 Euro cash deposit, which is required on arrival, at time of booking - this was a bit of a pain as meant changing up a lot more cash than we needed, and having to change it back on our return home. It also wasn’t clear that heating and electricity are not included in the rental price, although this wasn’t very much during our stay, it would be more during a winter rental.

Vous voyez également sur le site Abritel qui est très explicite, les "informations supplémentaires sur les tarifs de location". Ci-joint, le copier coller de ces informations : "Informations supplémentaires sur les tarifs de location Forfait de ménage fin de séjour 90€. Chauffage et électricité non compris, suivant consommation. Une caution de 600€ est demandée à votre arrivée. En semaine, la location est de 3 nuits minimum." Nous avons été très heureux de vous rencontrer et de vous accueillir et serons heureux de le faire d'autres fois. However, we are surprised by your remarks because in the description on HomeAway, you see the location when you book and you choose. You also see on the website Abritel which is very explicit, the "additional information on rental rates". Great two weeks

We have just spent a lovely two weeks here, the Gite was just what we were looking for and the weather was fine also. The owners were extremely welcoming and so kind, you couldn’t wish for more. I would say that the photos on the site were probably from a few years ago, but everything was as it said. There are things to do and find, even a little trip to Belgium to ride the Crocodile bus / boat. Also note the bed downstairs is extremely comfortable and the house was very clean. Yes it is remote but with high speed broadband, BBQ and fire pit plus the bonus of fishing (lots of silvers in the pond but I did catch a Carp. Overall a fantastic two weeks Thanks Paul & Tina

Prachtig huis met een parkachtige tuin. Prima voor een ontspannen vakantie. Huis huis beschikt over alle noodzakelijke voorzieningen. Voor 9ns een prima ontspannen week.

Gîte très agréable

Vacances tres agréables avec tout le confort malgré un temps pluvieux. De belles découvertes aux alentours : Guise, Le quesnoy, Chimay... sans oublier la bonne bière et le bon fromage. Merci aux propriétaires pour toutel attention qu'ils nous ont apporté.

Nette verzorgde woning. Goede ontvangst en bezorgdheid bij aankomst en verblijf. Toffe eigenaars. Hier kom je tot rust. Centraal gelegen tussen enkele mooie stadjes, de moeite om deze te ontdekken.

Ein tolles Haus für eine ruhige Zeit in der Natur.

Das Haus ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Es ist umringt von Natur und einem sehr schönen Garten. Von der Terrasse aus kann man Sonnenauf- und untergang sehen. Nachts sieht man jede Menge Sterne, da dort wenig Lichtverschmutzung herrscht. Zum Spazieren gibt es Felder, Wälder und kleinere Orte in der Nähe. Das Haus hat eine super Ausstattung, man braucht wenig mitzunehmen. Sehr empfehlenswert für Gruppen oder Familien, die eine ruhige, idyllische Zeit miteinander verbringen möchten.

Herrlich ruhig, für Naturliebhaber

Das saubere, gut ausgestattete Haus mit guten Betten, guter Küchenausstattung und freundlichen Vermietern liegt in einem großen Garten umgeben von Feldern. Die nächsten Häuser liegen weiter entfernt. Den Garten mit seinen inzwischen hochgewachsenen Pflanzinseln kann man auf verschlungenen Pfaden "durchwandern". Dabei gibt es allerlei Insekten und Schmetterlinge zu beobachten. Ebenso gibt es im Teich kleine Fische und Frösche. Der morgendliche Spaziergang zum Bäcker mit sehr gutem Brot ( dem Tradition) und Croissants dauert 25 min einfach und führt über kleine, kaum befahrene Straßen und Wege. Mit den vorhandenen Rädern oder dem Auto geht es natürlich schneller. Der Supermarkt in Le Nouvion ist mit dem Auto leicht und schnell zu erreichen und bietet alles, was man braucht. Das WLAN ist gut und schafft es ohne Probleme mehrere Nutzer gleichzeitig zu versorgen. Möchte man einen Urlaub mit vielen Besichtigungen verbringen, so ist das Haus vielleicht weniger geeignet, da man zu größeren, kulturellen Ausflugszielen (z.B. Guise, Laon) eine halbe, aber eher eine ganze Stunde unterwegs ist. Sucht man aber die Ruhe und erfreut sich an kleineren Naturbeobachtungen, so ist dieses Haus eines der besten, was wir bisher hatten. (Achtung: sehr große Leute müssen im Obergeschoss und auf der Treppe auf ihren Kopf aufpassen.)

Idyllic retreat

A really well presented property in a private and rural setting, very peaceful and quiet. We were a group of six adults and two babies and the facilities catered for us all. The rooms are bright and very clean with modern kitchen and bathrooms. Outside the garden is well laid out and maintained with more than enough seating. Bikes and toys are provided to entertain both adults and children. Security alarm and electric shutters and fly screens to all windows make for peace of mind. André and Graziella are pleasant, attentive hosts and offer good advice regarding places to visit, eating places, etc. We would certainly recommend this property to anyone who appreciates peace and quiet. Merci à tous deux, Graziella et André, pour votre accueil et votre profonde gentillesse. Ces quelques jours ont bien vite passé dans votre maison où nous nous sommes sentis si bien. A l'origine, nous avons été attirés par les photos, les descriptions et les commentaires : confort, beauté, accueil, tranquillité, ... Quels que soient les critères recherchés, nous avons été pleinement récompensés par notre attente. On se sent comme chez soi dans la maison où chaque détail a été pensé avec goût pour l'accueil et le confort, où l'on sent que rien n'est là par hasard. Aux heures où les rayons du soleil sont obliques, on ne peut s'empêcher de guetter aux fenêtres pour apercevoir un lièvre. Je n'ai qu'à fermer les yeux pour nous revoir installés à la terrasse ou dans les transats, au cœur du très beau jardin paysagé. Merci. Isabelle, Guy, Valérie, Odile et Gérard

Beautiful Gite and location

Very impressive clean, modern gite with very friendly owners. Garden is gorgeous and spacious with some sports equipment provided to entertain children and the bikes are great. Was lovely sitting in the Sunny garden or finding a shady spot when got too hot. So peaceful and tranquil. Electric shutters and fly screen on Windows. Would recommend to anyone to try .

High standard, beautiful gardens, quiet location, lovely hosts....the perfect holiday house IMO

We have holidayed in France for many years and this is the best house we have ever rented. The house is traditional in style, but has been refurbished in recent years to a high standard and offers very well appointed accommodation in a private and quiet country setting, surrounded by cornfields. Andre and Graziella were perfect hosts, very friendly and welcoming, keen to ensure everything was ok, but not intrusive. They clearly take great pride in the house, and we very much appreciated just how clean and well presented it was upon arrival. There were bikes and garden games available, as well as plenty of loungers and some very nice patio furniture. It's often the case that larger country gardens are quite plain, but in this case the garden has also been improved and is full of established plants, borders and lawns, not to mention a good sized pond. The house has a good internet service and wifi, and has modern bathrooms and kitchen. We particularly liked the benefit of electric security shutters on all the windows together with fly screens. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the house to anyone looking for somewhere quiet, well appointed, with good family accommodation and great gardens. Would happily return. Très belle location

Tout d'abord un grand merci à André et Graziella pour votre accueil chaleureux et votre convivialité ! La maison est tout à fait conforme à la description : spacieuse, très propre, bonne literie et tout le nécessaire pour bien cuisiner et se sentir chez soi, grand espace vert bien entretenu et très joli ! Vous pouvez louer la maison sans hésitation mais attention la voiture est indispensable.

Warm aanbevolen!

Een zeer verzorgde en volledig uitgeruste vakantiewoning met een prachtige tuin in een niet-toeristische maar onvermoed mooie streek (met vooral weilanden, bossen en akkers) waar het heerlijk wandelen en fietsen is. Gastvrije en discrete eigenaars die steeds ter beschikking staan. Leuk zwembad in het nabije Guise. We hebben bij zalig weer genoten van een heerlijke twee weken sportieve vakantie. Warm aanbevolen voor wie houdt van rust en natuur!
