Escape to a private 2 bedroom, bath and a half cottage cottage in the Northwoods on the pristine Eagle River Chain of 28 Lakes. This quiet cabin wakes you up to a beautiful Eastern sunrise that allows you to enjoy your morning coffee while sitting on the pier as the dew dries. From there you can plan which one of the many opportunities you and your family will take full advantage of. For example you may walk to the quaint downtown shops of Eagle River and enjoy shopping, food, parks, or one of the local events taking place. For the avid outdoorsman you can navigate the waterways and fish, ski, swim, kayak, paddle board or just hop from bar to bar and soak in all the drinks, fun, and sun the chain has to offer. Their are trails that allow you to hike, bike, or travel by ATV from our front door to the U.P. This cozy cottage is close to a beautiful waterfall, a full service casino, two go kart tracks and horse back riding stables, along with two local golf courses. However you choose to spend your day it will be nothing short of amazing.
Cabin includes 1 King , 1 full under a twin bunk, 1 twin day bed with a pull out mattress underneath it. Fire Pit, Gas Grill, Outdoor Patio Dining, Aluminum Fishing Boat with 25hp motor (provided for additional fee), Dock with extra boat slip, Kid’s Play Set, Washer/Dryer. Full Kitchen, Coffee Maker, 2 TV’s, Ceiling Fans Throughout

Eagle River chain gem!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect being so close to town and just down from Yellow Birch Lake where it was quiet. Only a few steps down to the dock which was great for carrying coolers, etc to/ from the house. The fire pit had a nice location to enjoy the water views any time of day. It was awesome having all the fire wood cut, dry, and ready for burning. Huge yard that the kids enjoyed playing catch / running around. Well- stocked kitchen with all the needed goodies to make meals. Overall wonderful stay surrounded by the tall pines!! Thanks for the memories!

Great getaway

As a child (3-5yrs old) my grandparents used to bring me to the Eagle River/Three Lakes area and spend weekends fishing. I wanted to return to the area that I remember from childhood and was not disappointed. While we meandered some, most of our trip was spent right at the cabin sitting on the dock fishing, walking to town for the farmers market or to eat. The area has remained true to its roots, there is nothing big and flashy, no big box stores in the town or surrounding towns, but it has everything you need to unwind, be still and have a vacation of a simpler time. I highly recommend the cabin, clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is filled with deer, foxes, chipmunks, and bald eagles, you never know what you will see on your walks through the neighborhood or while sitting in the yard or on the dock.

Eagle River Retreat

This cottage was in the perfect location to allow for quick trips to downtown Eagle River, easy access to boat rentals, and a quiet channel connecting to the chain lakes. It had everything we needed to keep everyone entertained with a large yard, grill, firepit, canoe, kayak and paddleboarding. The host was extremely responsive and went above and beyond to make sure everything went great during our stay. Highly recommend!

All that we hoped for, and more, in a 5-day vacation!

Overall, we had a great stay. Neighborhood was quiet (a little road noise but really quiet after 10ish) and location was very convenient. Hair dryer for the ladies! Big mirror and counter area for all your bathroom activities. Washer and dryer in working condition. Laundry soap supplied. We parked our pontoon at their dock. Boat launch very close on opposite side of the river. Riverstone (get the walleye!) and Eddie B’s were a great stop with the pontoon.

Great family vacation spot

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about our stay. The property is fairly secluded from the neighbors. They have a grills, both charcoal and gas, outdoor table and chairs, fire pit, swingset with some toys underneath, kayaks, a pier to fish off of, and a place to park your boat. They even had a wagon by the garage to carry your supplies from the car to the house. This is located right on the Eagle River chain very close to the marina downtown. The hosts are very welcoming. It was exactly the vacation we were looking for.

Beautiful scenery

The process and communication with Jeff was wonderful!! Listed pictures and information was exactly as described. Close to in town Eagle River but far enough away to still enjoy the quiet of nature. We had eagles right across the river and at points above us in trees. Boat slip was great and even had bumpers for the boat already on the dock. Jeff went above and behind when we had a vehicle issue. I recommend staying in this area and especially at this property!

Great Family Getaway in the Northwoods!

We had an amazing week! The house was perfect for us! Between all the fresh air and the super comfortable beds - we had some of the best nights sleep! We absolutely loved the view every morning and enjoyed using the paddle boards and kayaks. The large yard and open space was perfect for playing yard games/catch. We had fun fishing off the dock and enjoyed s’mores by the campfire while overlooking the River in the evenings. The location was very convenient…only a few minutes from town, yet we still felt nestled in the northwoods, which was the best of both worlds. And…I can not say enough about Jeff, the Owner. He went above and beyond. Super responsive to any questions we had and very helpful. We look forward to staying again!

Perfect for Families

We had the best time here. It was a great time to unwind and relax. It was clean and everything our family needed. Our boys loved playing on the outside platform and swings. They also loved to just run around and explore outside! The dock access was perfect for early morning fishing. The boat was also great for evening fishing. We had a bonfire two different nights. The fire pit was perfect, and we appreciated all the wood that was provided. Jeff was very easy to communicate with and answered all of my many questions. He gave us some great activities to do with our kids. We had the best time here, and we would definitely return again.

Fantastic rental

Our family has a rich history with the Eagle River area. My great uncle was born and raised, my dad has been coming up yearly since he was an infant (60+years ago), and his parents and grandparents before that. An annual visit has been tradition for my sister and I since we were infants as well and we continue that as we both grow our families. We are always excited to try out a new rental, and Jeff and Abbey’s place did not disappoint. From the moment of booking, communication with Jeff was top notch and he was quick to respond with answers to any questions we might have. Check in was a breeze and the house was very clean. The bathrooms are updated, kitchen well stocked, and comfortable beds. We didn’t really need the air conditioning, but it was nice knowing it was there if needed. When at the house, we spent most of our time around the amazing fire pit and our young son really enjoyed running in the spacious yard and playing in the sandbox and on the swing set. The location is perfect, with just a quick boat ride you’re cruising the lakes in no time. Eagle watching was great, we saw at least 20 throughout our week plus stay. Our 3yr old had the most success fishing out of any of us, and my dad loved the ability to rent out their aluminum boat. We are hoping our schedules allow us to come up again next year for 2 weeks, and we will without a doubt be booking again!

My wife and I visited Eagle River to celebrate our 1st anniversary and this was one of the best rental experiences we’ve ever had. Jeff was super communicative and accommodating throughout the booking process and the stay. The property was clean and well kept. It is prefect for a couples weekend get away and could easily accommodate a family with kids. The location was better than I expected. You get the waterfront, northwoods, feeling with the creature comforts of town just a short drive away. There was a large grocery store & Walgreens about 4 min away. We could get anywhere in Eagle River by 10min or less car ride. Downtown Eagle River was about a 15-20 min walk. We also had our side by side up there and the trails were accessible right from the driveway. It was awesome that we could take the side by side downtown as well. The truck didn’t move much from the day we got there to the day we left. The property would be great for someone with a boat as well, unfortunately we decided against the boat as you never know the Sept weather in northern WI. Lastly, the amenities the property provides are really great! There were 2 grills, one gas and one charcoal. The fire pit was fully stocked complete with firewood/kindling, chairs, and pokers for s’mores or hot dogs. Kayaks and paddle boards were available. The dock provides a great place to tie up a boat or drop a line and enjoy a morning cup of coffee. I just want to thank Jeff and family for making our trip memorable! Keep doing what you’re doing and you’ll have many more satisfied customers. We can’t wait to book again!

Pretty, Wooded Waterfront Location & Dock w/ Big Yard, Fire Pit, Play Set Close to Town Amenities

My husband and I (plus our dog!) really enjoyed our week in Northern Wisconsin! We were fortunate to find this place, especially because we were late in planning our get-away. The owners were great at communicating with us, and were eager to help us have a wonderful time in their cute cabin. It was obvious that they are very conscientious people who want their home to be a pleasant place for you to stay. Pride of ownership showed. Jeff, the owner we communicated with, was on top of every detail, and provided all the information we needed to have an excellent stay at their property. We were able to check in easily, and found everything in the cabin clean and ready for our week. I really wanted to stay somewhere that had clean bathrooms, and I was NOT disappointed! The bathrooms have been updated, and the powder room had really nice storage for all your toiletries, which was a plus for me. I was also appreciative of the place having a washer and dryer, in addition to all the other amenities you would expect a rental property to have. The tv was nice and worked well, and the furniture, including the couch, loveseat and beds, were comfortable and clean. I think that is particularly important to note, because even though we could bring our dog, you wouldn't have known it was a place that would accommodate pets... i.e. it did NOT smell of animals or LOOK run down by pets, as sometimes happens in rentals. We were also lucky, and pleased we had access to recreational toys while here, including 2 nice bikes, kayaks, paddleboards and a fire pit (We LOVED the Fire Pit!) with comfortable chairs. There was a great outdoor play set, as well as a nice selection of toys if you happened to have young children in your group. The yard was huge and provided a great place to play with our dog, who loved the area. We also enjoyed the deer we found wandering the area and property. We rented the fishing boat from Jeff, and it worked well for us. You can fish and see a lot of different bodies of water from heading in either direction from this cabin, which was nice. The location was close to town and we found that to be a benefit - very easy to get supplies and enjoy dining out as well as shopping a bit in the cute town of Eagle River. The best of both town and country in our opinion! We would stay here again. Thank you to the Lang family!

Cute place

This was our first time renting a cabin. It could not have been easier, the owner was very responsive to any questions we had. The cabin is perfect little getaway. The beds are comfortable the location is great. You feel secluded yet your right in town. We had eagles wake us up every morning and a deer family come visit at night. Would definitely rent this place again next time we go to Eagle River.

Ok for a short vacation but Not if a longer one!

Pros: cute house, shabby chic decor enjoyed by the ladies; on the River; close to My Boat Club; clean as a hotel would clean; nice fire pit & wood for use; kayaks/stand up boards there; toys for small children/play set outside nice! Cons: garbage cans at end of drive full upon arrival; cut grass not mulched so tracked inside 1st 2 days; advertised 2 full baths but only 11/2, & shower footing felt unsteady; unsafe stairs railing (wobbly) down to pier/ tree roots do not give steady footing so I needed to “jump” onto pier. SUGGESTION: create a paved/stone pathway from the driveway all the way to the front slab of the house since it’s a long ways to drag luggages in wet/dewy yard which will also create a more cottage like effect.

Great Getaway!

Such an awesome experience all around! This was our first time using VRBO and Jeff surpassed our expectations! Very friendly and kind! We absolutely loved the property and the location! The house was adorable and the beds were so comfortable! The swing set was a huge with with the kids! The weather was too cold to swim so happy we had it! The toys, books, and games in the house were unexpected and very much appreciated. Great location close to town and very easy to find! We would definitely go back! Thanks again😊
