About this property
Stoneacre: Connemara cottage nestled into hillside overlooking Killary Fjord
The Wild Atlantic Way on your doorstep, Stoneacre is built on an elevated site with 180 degree views of Killary Harbour-- the only fjiord in Ireland and the only place in Ireland mentioned in the BBC book '100 Places To See Before You Die'. Killary Harbour is also one of the major views of the Wild Atlantic Way. The house has panoramic views from all major rooms, terraces, and garden. Stoneacre is a three minute walk from the village of Leenane with its 2 pubs, 1 gourmet restaurant, 2 cafes, and 2 gift shops featuring lovely Irish items. The Leenane hotel has a pub that serves food with live music two nights a week in the summer. The one-story house is furnished to a high standard with comfort in mind and is well equipped for ease of self catering. The house has large terraced gardens over looking Killary Harbour. Garden furniture is supplied.
