Please contact us through this site for more info. Cozy and comfy 3 bedroom, 2 bath family home on small private lake with no public access. Sleeps 8.
2 miles west of Garrison, Minnesota at the end of a quiet road on secluded lot in the woods with no through traffic.
Level, gently sloping lot to sandy beach. Plenty of yard space for outdoor family games and activities. Spectacular sunset views on dock from East shore of lake. Serene summer (and winter) days and evenings for long walks, fishing or boating on the lake, sitting by an outdoor fire roasting S’mores, or just hanging out. Canoe, fishing boat, paddle boat, tubes and a paddle board on property.
1 master and 1 regular bedroom (1 double bed each), another regular bedroom with twin size bunk beds. 2 full baths, full sleeper sofa in living room. House sleeps up to 8 people. Fully furnished to include kitchen utensils and appliances, dishwasher, microwave, charcoal grill, linens, towels and wash cloths. 1,200 sq. ft home with year-round heating, air conditioning, washer and dryer. Front and rear attached decks let you enjoy the sunshine throughout the day. A lake side fire pit is there for the family to enjoy ( firewood provided)
Within 30 miles you will find many recreational lakes, shopping, restaurants, golfing, Cuyuna bike trails, and approx. 10 miles to Grand Casino, movie theater, etc. Brainerd is 20 minutes west.
PLEASE NOTE: There is limited parking at this cabin THREE SPACES MAXIMUM, a trailer counts as a space.

Fabulous Kenney Lake retreat

This was the perfect place for grandparents and teen grandsons who like to fish. Dave and Lorrie were wonderful hosts. The home was comfy, very clean and well stocked. Having access to a motor boat and other water vehicles was a plus. Kenney Lake is lovely and full of fish. We look forward to a future visit.

Kenney Lake

very relaxing spot on a small uncongested lake. many days we had it to ourselves. Hosts were very friendly and accommidating providing everything needed for a wonderful 2 weeks

Dave has lived on Kenney Lake in the summertime for over 60 years and knows the area very well. Dave & Lorrie retired in 2013 and now live here full time.

Why they chose this property

This is a beautiful west facing property on a small peaceful lake. The fishing, hunting, hiking and other outdoor activities are outstanding, Cuyuna mountain biking area is world class. Races at BIR are only 30 minutes away. Wild life abounds and the viewing is unprecedented. Wake up or fall asleep to the sound of loons calling in the summer and owls year round. Eagle and osprey viewing is a daily occurrence.
