This spacious three bedroom, two-bathroom home sleeps 16 (see County restrictions below BEFORE BOOKING). The kitchen, master bedroom, laundry room, and living room are located on the first floor and the second bathroom and two very large bedrooms are located on the second level.
The expansive lower deck accommodates an outdoor table so that you can savor your meals al fresco. The patio sofa is the perfect place to relish a warm summer night with an iced cold beverage. Or maybe just park yourself on the couch and supervise the kids roasting marshmallows over the fire pit.
The three car garage has been transformed into a game room for kids and adults alike. Sit back on the sectional couch with some popcorn and enjoy a movie or supervise a game of mini air hockey table, mini ping pong, and billiards.
Enjoy skiing, wake boarding, surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, or just relaxing in the temperate waters! Nearby Sugarloaf Marina has boat ramp and accessibility for water sports.
Other local activities include several local hiking trails, Lake Shasta Caverns (20 minute drive), mountain biking, off-roading, and local beautiful water falls.
If you enjoy winter activities, the home is within an hour drive to Mt. Shasta Ski Park!
Please be aware that Shasta is a reservoir and is subject to low water and even drought conditions. You can check the average water levels online. You can also check the Caltrans cameras for visual levels however the water levels can vary daily by several feet. Even with low water levels, there are still views of the lake from the house however the nearby access to the marina/boat ramp can change significantly.
This is a quiet, family-oriented neighborhood. Although there are additional rentals on the street, all neighbors expect mutual respect during quiet hours which are strictly enforced from 10 pm to 8 am.
Overnight accommodations are limited to three (3) adults per room. "Adult" is defined as any person over the age of 16. Guest capacity is limited to five (5) adults per room during the hours of 6 am until 10 pm, excluding children under the age of 16.
Parking is limited. County restrictions limit three vehicles; there are 3 parking spaces at the top of the steep driveway. Additional vehicles may be parked at the nearby Sugarloaf marina and two guest parking permits are provided. Use of the neighbor's driveway is strictly prohibited. Please use the turnaround at the bottom of the street and ascend the blacktop drive (not concrete driveway).
Outdoor burning is strictly prohibited by the County except the provided fire pit.
County restrictions prohibit temporary, portable, or other type of structure not permitted by the County.
It is the responsibility of the guest to be familiar with and understand Shasta County Code 17 relating to short term rentals. Any violation will be cause for immediate removal of guests.

Please always keep a careful eye on children. The deck is extremely high off the ground. Two baby gates are located in the garage for your use.
A ring doorbell is installed at the front door and at the deck main stairwell. The devices record motion when detected and when someone rings the doorbell. The motion notification is disabled upon arrival. These are the only motion/recording devices on the premises.
