I stayed in the cottage near the back of the property. It is a 2 bedroom, one bath. The master bed was very comfortable. The bath is large and includes a washer and dryer. It has a front porch and yard area to sit and relax. It is an easy walk to downtown. The owners are very nice. The cottage has everything that you would need for a short or long stay.

Thanks for staying with us Jamie!
You're welcome back any time~ g&k
There are 2 units and we stayed in the back unit which was Immaculate and well maintained. It has an off street parking spot as well as a small fenced yard. Comfortable king-size bed in main bedroom with twin bed in second room. Small but well equipped kitchen perfect for making meals at home. Easy walk to the downtown and courthouse square with plenty of restaurants and shops to explore. Good internet and satellite TV. Many shopping options close by including Sprouts, Trader Joe´s, Costco, Target and major Supermarkets. Ideal for a couple or a small family. The owner is very responsive. Lots of good hiking and biking close by. We liked it so much we will be going back to stay there again.

Relaxing stay
My husband and I have stayed in both Pleasant Street cottages. We found them to be charming, spotlessly clean, nicely decorated, well equipped with everything you could need, conveniently located and a very, very comfortable place to come back to after a day of exploring all Prescott and the surrounding areas have to offer. Stay a week or stay a month, you won't find a better deal!

A wonderful stay!
My husband and I, who are retired, stayed at one of the cottages on Pleasant Street from October, 2016 to early January of 2017. What fun! The cottage was just right for us; clean, comfortable, and within walking distance of the busy Prescott Square. Restaurants, museums and shops are readily available. There are always activities to go to and the town is extremely pet friendly. The holiday season was truly a joy with the neighborhoods and town decorated to the hilt!
Cyndi was so accommodating and friendly. When we mentioned we couldn't get the existing DVD to work, she replaced it with a new one the next day.
We would recommend this cottage and town with its lovely old homes and energetic people to anyone looking for a convenient and well-maintained property.

Pleasant stay on Pleasant Street!
We had a pleasant stay at this quaint cottage on Pleasant street! We arrived in the evening and it was very welcoming to have lights and the heat on to welcome us. The size was perfect for our family of 2 adults, 2 kids and 2 small dogs! Very close to downtown Prescott! Clean and cozy for a very reasonable price! Would stay here again if in the area!

Delightful Stay in Prescott
Our visit started rather ominously. We entered and found a note saying that the water heater was broken and would be repaired in the morning. And it was. In fact, it was replaced. So we were good to go. We met Cyndi (the owner) several times during our monthlong visit. She is a very friendly lady and we enjoyed getting to know her. The house is delightful, though having the idiosyncrasies associated with a place about 100 years old. We were pleased to have air conditioning since some days were very warm for Prescott. However, we still enjoyed sitting out on the porch in the afternoon and evenings. The cottage is only two blocks from a small shopping center with a grocery store, Walgreens and Starbucks and only six blocks from Whiskey Row. There are many good restaurants in the area. Overall, it is a delightful place in a great location and we definitely plan to stay here again.

Great time in Prescott
This cottage (2 Bedroom) was the perfect size for 3-4 adults. The owners were very flexible with our check-in and check-out time. The Cottage is in walking distance (5-10 minutes) from many places to eat and pubs with live music. The Raven had several gluten free options and a good happy hour. Also, Bill’s Pizza has good gluten free pizza crust. This cottage was just what we needed at a good price. We would definitely stay here again.

Couldn't be happier!
We came to Prescott to explore potential retirement areas and stayed in the cottage for two weeks. It had everything we needed... a nice, fully equipped kitchen, WiFi, flat screen TV (I brought my own Roku and it worked perfectly!), comfy bed, small but modern bathroom, which was fortunate because we came down with a virus and were flat on our backs for two days! So good to have everything we needed. The place was very clean and well maintained. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property! All was as promised!

Comfortable cottage in historic neighborhood
This cottage was comfortable in every way. We enjoyed lounging and reading on the porch swing and eating at the outside table. Everything was clean and tidy. The only thing missing was shampoo -- guests might want to remember to bring their own.
It's an easy walk to the town square and whiskey row. We had excellent breakfasts at the Lone Spur and dinner at Murphy's, just a few blocks away. It was fun to walk through the neighborhood admiring the charming cottages and Victorian homes.
Also, the yard was fenced so we could let our dog enjoy exploring the area too. Prescott is a very dog-friendly town with plenty of water bowls out downtown. You can even take your dog into some shops and restaurants.

Charming cottage close to everything!
Cute, clean cottage walking distance to downtown. Our hosts supplied everything we needed for the week's stay. They thought of everything we needed to cook, clean, etc. Our dog was appreciative of the grassy area to do her business. We are from the east coast and enjoyed seeing the grassy patches around the area. The cottage was cozy and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay. If you do eat out, Murphy's Restaurant on Cortez (a few walking blocks away) had the BEST chicken tortilla soup and DELICIOUS prime rib. We had a great breakfast across the street at The Waffle Iron. The Smoki MUseum is about 3 blocks away and was interesting.

About the host
Hosted by PleasantStreetCottages.com
Greg was born and raised in Prescott, graduated from Prescott High and Yavapai College. He lived in the northwest for a while as well before deciding to travel the world... Keira is Canadian born in the Toronto area and received her Masters in World Development. She stayed in the Great North until she decided to teach english in Japan...
One day in a small village in northern Thailand, one lucky American fella met a sharp and beautiful Canadian gal, and eventually they decided to travel the world together; volunteering, trekking, hitch hiking, farming, camping, working, diving, gardening, bee keeping, animal rescuing, teaching, fencing, hiking, cattle mustering, guiding, climbing, sight seeing, cooking, drinking, dancing, dog mushing, sailing, laughing, rambling, a lot of walking and discovering themselves along the way. Five years and 25 countries later, they decided to move back the North America, get married and start a family. Greg got into Firefighting and EMS and Keira got into Real Estate and then they had a kiddo and the real adventure began! We bought this property as a way to hold on to something really special in Prescott. We share it with the public because that's the joy we found all over the world and we hope to return the favor. This isn't just a place to stay the night. This is our home, opened to you! Feel free to contact us directly:

Why they chose this property
This home, built in 1938, is a piece of Prescott history. I remember trick-or-treating and riding my bike up Pleasant St when I was a child and to now own and be able to share this charm with you is a gift and a privilege. Once you have walked the neighborhood here to the courthouse, I absolutely guarantee you'll know right away how special this town, and this area specifically, is.
What makes this property unique
Enjoy the central location of being conveniently close by everything in town, while the cottage is situated as such so that you're still able to enjoy complete privacy. You see, the cottage is back-set and facing the garden rather than the street or alley. We also have off street private parking, which is uniquely rare around here. We are acutely aware of the area (being from the area & both being involved in Real Estate) so to stay here, isn't only a bed for the night, we share our knowledge of the area with you fully! We include our own personalized map and guide to the best spots and activities in town! Let us know what you're looking for, and we'll help you find it! And if you're thinking about relocating or investing into the area, we're more than happy to help and expertly equip to do so. Just say the word and we can set up your own custom property search, help find the perfect spot and professionally negotiate a great deal to closing! Since we've both moved to new towns more than a few times before, we know the value of getting the inside scoop about the "locals best", so that's what we offer!
