Great Stay

Communication with Linda was excellent. Met Neil, nice man with some good stories. One of the AC units was not working properly and Neil went out and purchased one right away. Thanks Rich for coming over to install it on a Sunday. It was great having a pool, lots of room, plenty to do and good location.

Short Get Away

It was a great experience to get away with family and friends! It was a great house to stay in when the 4 kids can really enjoy some group time and adults can enjoy the hot tub and great conversation.

Misleading

Unfortunately the house looks good in pictures but upon arrival it was dirty and smelled. Cobwebs throughout, mold on shower curtains, old expired food in refrigerator and freezers. Master bedroom lines where dirty and a contact lens was found under the sheets. Most of the outdoor chairs had been duct taped for use and were unsafe to use. A lot of clutter throughout and the couches are on there last leg. One even smelled of urine. It's a shame because if it was emptied and new furniture was placed and decluttered the location is fantastic.

Mountain House

Beautiful house; strangely shaped bedrooms, but fun. Master bedroom huge with attached bathroom. Too many throw rugs causing a tripping hazard. Lots of outdoor space and activities, including many tame deer.

Amazing first vacation

My family and I have never taken a vacation before. My husband, son (7), daughter (17 months), and I had an amazing time at this property!! Rich (the property manager) was super friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome. Neil and Linda were also always available to answer any questions we had. Everything was amazing, the house was perfect for us, and overall this was the best experience I think we could have had!!!

I (Neil MacMorrow) have been renting furnished apartments for more than 20 years in both NYC and Philadelphia. This is my latest property and I look forward to accommodating guests to this one-of-a-kind house. Most of my adult life was spent in Europe after growing up in Connecticut and going on to Boston for my college education.

Why they chose this property

I chose this property due to all the ammenities the community has to offer. In addition, I frequented the area of Jim Thorpe twenty years ago and fell in love with the village because it reminded me of Europe. This new property that I purchased and will be renting is close to Jim Thorpe as well as other attractions.

What makes this property unique

The property is very unique and offers a comfortable and relaxing stay to all who enter. The house will not only give guests a "homeaway", but also a "back to nature" feeling. The Pocono Mountains offer beautiful scenic views, as well as fresh air to breathe. Also, The Pocono Mountains tend to be 10 degrees cooler than the city.
