Casa Rural El Jondrigu

Casa de Aldea El Jondrigu, is an old house over 200 years, which was rehabilitated in 2007 respecting the traditional Asturian architecture with stone, wood beams and pontoons.

It is located in a small village of 50 inhabitants, with beautiful mountain views and located 3 km. from Cangas de Onis and 4 of Arriondas, villa conocidad by the famous Sella River.

The house has two bedrooms, one double and one double, lounge, kitchen and bathroom, and is fully equipped with fridge, microwave, washing machine, blender, toaster, juicer, television, internet connection with wifi system completely free and heating, also it provided with sheets, towels, tablecloths and kitchen.

The farmhouse The Jondrigu located 3 km. Cangas de Onis in a village of 50 inhabitants, is an ideal place to visit the most interesting places in the eastern region of the Picos de Europa.

A 5 minutes from the house is Cangas de Onis, with many restaurants where you can taste the delicious cuisine of the area and also an interesting cultural tour starting with its Roman bridge over the River Sella, the chapel of Santa Cruz with its dolmen in inside, the church, the Sunday market, the palace of Cortés ect.

A 10 km. is Covadonga religious center for all Asturians and cradle of the Reconquest, without deviating from the route and about 20 minutes are the majestic lakes of Enol and Ercina within the National Park Picos de Europa, where you can make imnumerables mountain routes for all levels of preparation, the most famous is the route that runs along the river Cares, in the municipality of Cabrales.

Also about thirty minutes of the house you can visit the best beaches in the east of Asturias or walk the streets of coastal towns of:

Ribadesella: famous for its seaport town, Santa Marina beach and the prehistoric cave paintings of Tito Bustillo.

Llanes: beautiful old town and muncipio which houses the most unique beaches of eastern Asturias, Gulpiyuri, Torimbia, Poo ect.

Colunga: villa where there is a museum of dinosaurs and the Mirador del Fito with spectacular views of sea and mountains.

Ballasts: famous fishing port and where the series Doctor Mateo was filmed.
About 65 km. the house is located Oviedo, capital of the province and political center of the region, has important pre-Romanesque ruins and an old town very well preserved.
