*Overlook, Hidden Gem + Large Deck for Entertaining Friends & Family

Are you looking for a fantastic retreat for a family reunion, girls weekend, golfing or boating?

The Overlook is a 6 bedroom, 3 bathroom condominium comprised of nearly 2,400 square feet perfect for large gatherings of friends and family. Often reserved for larger groups, it is one of two sister properties nestled away near Lake Monroe, yet still close enough to IU.

Sister property is the Overloft, property 1178054 and is located within the same unit, upstairs.

The Overlook offers a full service well stocked kitchen with nearly everything you need to cook or grill (minus the food, of course!), ample seating for dining, a shared deck with outdoor seating and Weber grill, pool and poker tables as well as, a large, comfortable seating area for streaming amazon or netflix or playing Xbox.

The swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts located directly across the parking lot are not available to guests of the Overlook or Overloft as they are owned by the Eagle Bay and Eagle Bay II Homeowner's Association. Unauthorized access is unacceptable and cause for immediate removal and cancellation without a refund.

Access to the community pool at the clubhouse is available to our guests in 2023.

Beautiful property and home, excellent location from boat dock. Enjoyed the accommodations and the wildlife. Host was always available to help and check in process was a breeze! No electricity first several hours due to a major windstorm but it was a family reunion so we preserved and it was totally worth it. All guests enjoyed the accommodations. Would certainly book again if needed.

Family Thanksgiving Weekend

For several years we have rented the Overlook for our family Thanksgiving. Our family enjoys the spacious table for dinners, billiard and game tables for exciting competitions and large TV room for watching sports. The kitchen is complete and the beds are comfortable! The location is fantastic! Our host is always quick to answer if there are questions. Our family loves staying at The Overlook!

Bloomington Get Away

A group of four families comfortably stayed at both properties for a long weekend and had a blast. We went for an IU football game and spent the other days on Lake Monroe and at the pool. Close to head to campus (20-25 min)and the lake, and a great set up for a large group. Plenty of beds and common area to hang. We loved having the long dining table for meals and outdoor space for the evening. Paula was easy to work with and very responsive. All in all, a great weekend.

Excellent Stay at the Overlook!

Lovely property for a family gathering. Plenty of room and a nice large patio area to soak up the sun. Paula was an excellent host and helped me greatly as I tried to accommodate the travel arrangements of family travelling across the country. Easy check-in/out, plenty of towels, comfortable beds. House is also incredibly baby friendly- no stairs and things for baby to get in to. This was an extra bonus for us as we had our two year old with us. thank you, Paula! xo

Long Weekend Stay

We rented this property for a long weekend to celebrate my mother’s 50th birthday! It was spacious but yet set up to encourage togetherness. We had so much fun hanging out here and was surprised at how well stocked it was with things. I would definently recommend for any long weekend stay with family or friends!

We really cannot say enough about this property. It was MORE than accommodating! It had an open floor plan that made it so easy foe our group to function and have fun. We enjoyed playing pool, visiting, and eating together. We loved the sitting room, so cozy! We were very busy as our kids go to IU and we had several events. We were able come home and wind down and feel at home. The hosts were so gracious to provide some snacks, which we DID enjoy. The bedrooms were beautiful and beds comfortable. We had enough bathrooms too. We love the visits from the deer, it just made our stay even sweeter. We plan to come back and make plans to golf and enjoy the outdoor deck. One family on our group went to the restaurant at the golf course next door and raves about it. Thank you so much !

Even better than we imagined

I almost selected only three stars for "accuracy of online listing" because the property was even better than the listing. Our family loved staying at the Overlook and Overloft. We got both for a family wedding in the area. Paulette was so easy to work with, and the spaces allowed us all to be able to gather comfortably.

Bachelor party playing golf all weekend

It was great! From the time we left our house to the time we left the stay. The house was plenty big enough and had everything we needed. We did not go to the swimming pool because the sign said no guest. I can see that being a problem with a family with kids. Other than that it was great.

Great Property

The property was very clean and well maintained in a beautiful setting. Several deer visited us and were fun to watch. We spent most of our time on the fabulous deck, but the pool table was a big hit as well. The kitchen was fully stocked and there were plenty of towels (not always the case elsewhere) and other amenities. The upstairs apartment was not very clear in the listing, but we had considerate co-tenants so it was not an issue. Highly recommend!
