Fantastic property in a beautiful location. Hosts were very welcoming and happy to help but equallly were not intrusive. View of Capri was stunning and it we enjoyed local walks as well as venturing further out to Sorrento, Capri and Pompeii. Local food, views and most of the weather (mild for late October) all great - highly recommend

Breathtaking Setting and ViewsDuring our stay at Villa Luisa, we were treated to exactly the experience we had hoped for. The outside patio, stretching the entire length of the first floor, allowed us to enjoy beautiful sunset views of Sorrento. As evening fell, the Island of Capri sparkled in the distance, creating a magical backdrop. Mornings on the balcony offered a peaceful scene of lush hills, with the town of Massa Lubrense nestled beside Sorrento and the shimmering waters between the coast and Capri.Comfortable and Well-Appointed AccommodationsThe master bedroom, located just off the spacious kitchen, was both comfortable and tastefully decorated. The en suite bathroom featured a unique large semi-circular design, complete with a luxurious shower, bath, and ample closet space. Upstairs, guests could enjoy another large bedroom, a smaller bedroom, two additional bathrooms, a sitting room, and patios with even more breathtaking views.Warm and Helpful HostsOur hosts, Luisa and her husband Mario, were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Their granddaughter Sophia managed our check-in, arranged transportation into town, and gladly offered excellent restaurant recommendations.Memorable Stay and Local HighlightsWe spent four nights at Villa Luisa, which passed all too quickly. A great location with sea views. We utilised the pick- up options with some of our tours as we didn’t have a car. The bus timetables could be unreliable so it was great to be picked up and dropped off at the Villa. We did the Amafi coast boat tour and Capri trips that way from Marina della Lobra. Luisa, Sofia and Anna were wonderful.

Wonderful stay at Villa Luisa!

We had the most wonderful stay at Villa Luisa. My husband and my two teenage children and I spent a few nights (we wish it were longer) at Villa Luisa. The owners were so helpful setting up a boat tour to Capri and dinner at a wonderful restaurant down the street. We also had a homemade meal by Luisa the first night we arrived. It is a gorgeous villa with everything one would want including amazing views. Large bathrooms, a great living room and a huge, well appointed kitchen all make this a great spot. The property is charming as well.Communication was easy and extremely helpful throughout our trip. This really is a wonderful property with delightful owners. We hope to return!

Gorgeous View over Capri

This property was such a treat. The location is very quiet and lowkey. The property is gorgeous and Anna and her mother were very kind and hospitable. They had a homemade cake waiting for us. Very clean and spacious. There were about 4 different outdoor patio areas! We definitely would like to stay again. It’s worth being in Massa Lubrense for the peace and quiet. It took us 15 minutes to walk to the bus stop and from there we could travel anywhere.

Incredible Villa!

This little gem on the coast with views of Capri was amazing! We were warmly greeted by Anna and Luisa, owners of this wonderful property. Everything was clean, spacious and very lovely. Luisa made a delicious cake upon arrival. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked with utensils needed to cook a family meal. A small grocery store is available within walking distance. We were full of questions about places to visit, eat and general info about the area. Anna was very informative and even helped us reserve a trip to Capri. We (3 couples) highly recommend this villa and are already talking about when we can go back! Thank you Anna and Luisa! God Bless! Linda and Jerry

The Most Wonderful Place to Stay!!

We ended our two week Italian family adventure on the Amalfi Coast. Staying at Villa Luisa was the most wonderful way to end our already incredible trip. We only rent apartments and homes when vacationing with our children. We have come to realize that upon entering a home we can immediately sense a vibe about the property. Is it warm, comfortable, homey, well maintained? Villa Luisa exceeded our expectations on every level. First and foremost, Luisa and her daughter Anna are the most lovely and gracious hosts. We arrived late and they were so incredibly thoughtful to stock the kitchen with food, drinks and even homemade desserts. The house is beautiful and the views are just indescribable. We all slept extremely well and simply felt at peace and at home. After very full days of touring, we were always so happy to return to our beautiful home. We cannot say enough about this absolutely wonderful house!!

Beautiful Villa

My husband and our friends(another couple) and I spent 10 glorious days at Villa Luisa. The accommodations could not have been better. The home was well stocked with all essentials and Luisa and her daughter, Anna, made sure we had milk, bread, fresh fruit from their trees, wine, Prosecco, cheese, cake. The rooms were large and spotlessly clean. The beds and bedding were wonderful. They even came in halfway through our stay and cleaned, changed linens and left us another breakfast cake. There was plenty of outside areas to relax and enjoy Luisa's gardens and the pool. Our morning view of Capri will stay with us for years to come. We did opt to have a dinner prepared for us the night we arrived. It was spectacular and plenty for 2 days. There is a bit of road traffic, but with all of the other plusses, who even noticed. Would stay here again if we return to southern Italy. Also, small market and great restaurant within walking distance. Thank you Luisa and Anna for a perfect stay!

Beautiful, spacious home with amazing views

The house was beautiful it felt more like a home than a holiday rental it had everything you could want and more. The views of Capri were amazing. We took a recommendation of the host Anna, preparing dinner for our first night when we arrived. it had been a long day so was lovely to just relax at the house and enjoy the views on the patio and have dinner cooked for you. The food was amazing and delicious, it actually was enough food for two days, so we’ll worth the money, highly recommend it. We took a boat tour, which Anna kindly arranged for us, to the island of Capri which we would also highly recommend. While on the island we went to the Blue caves, which was a lovely experience and we were lucky as the queue was very short. We recommend going up the mountain on the chair lifts, great views and a great experience. There was a restaurant at the top were you could get food and drinks. Positano and Pompeii are worth a trip. Highly recommend Villa Luisa, couldn’t say anything bad about it. :)

Everything we could ask for, and more!

Our stay at Villa Luisa was wonderful. The villa was spotlessly clean, extremely well maintained, and had absolutely everything we needed. We requested dinner made by Luisa on the night we arrived, and as others have said, we had enough for 2 nights. There was also coffee, milk and juice in the fridge which meant we could just relax the first day instead of going out to pick up groceries. Luisa's daughter Anna made all of our reservations for our tours. We took a boat tour to Capri, hired a driver to take us to the Amalfi Coast, and visited a local lemon farm. I would rate them all 5 stars as well. We were picked up at the villa for each one which made the days completely stress free. The prices of the tours were very reasonable as well. Luisa is so friendly and helpful. She even moved our laundry rack under cover while we were out because it started raining. Anna told us to bring beach towels from the villa with us for the boat trip, which was a nice touch as we were not travelling with towels. I can’t say enough good things about our stay at the villa. I would definitely stay there again!

Trip of a Lifetime

Our girl’s trip to Rome and Massa Lubrense was definitely a trip of a lifetime. Villa Luisa in Massa Lubrense was spectacular!! The views from the porch were unbelievable. There were seven women on this trip. There was plenty of room for all of us. The villa was spotless when we arrived. It was stocked with drinks and food. There was everything we needed- cookware, dishes, coffee maker, etc. Also Luisa had baked a delicious cake for us. There were also lemon trees filled with lemons on the property for our enjoyment. We were having difficulty finding the villa. We called Anna, Luisa’s daughter, and she came and met us in town. Both Luisa and Anna were so helpful during our visit. They arranged tours for us, secured wonderful drivers for us, and even brought us to the grocery store and church. They were wonderful hosts. We would highly recommend booking this villa if you are in this area. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to return. We can’t thank all of the family for making this a trip of a lifetime!!! Long awaited family vacation

Villa Luisa was the perfect ending to a fifteen day stay in Italy for our family. We started out in Rome and Florence, and finally ended up in Massa Lubrense for 8 days to finish up our much awaited Italian vacation. The location and views of Capri from Villa Luisa were perfect for our family. We were a family of two parents and four grown children ranging from 22 to 27 years old. We were able to spread out and enjoy the pleasure of three beautiful bedrooms each with private baths. And by the way, the Villa was beyond clean! It was spotless, and extremely welcoming. Luisa and her daughter, Anna made our stay a true pleasure! Anna made arrangements for taxis, dinner reservations, and daily excursions a full service perk! She took the worry and stress of making our own arrangements away, which allowed us to just relax and enjoy our time together. Another fringe benefit was the incredibly, refreshing pool. Summertime in Italy is hot, and the pool was a perfect end of the day treat to enjoy some pre-dinner cocktails. There was also a grocery market in walking distance of the villa which we frequented to get fresh cheeses, meats, vegetables, and fruit. We cooked two dinners in the villa because the kitchen was stocked with homemade olive oil and everything we needed to create a delicious homemade meal using the local sources and products. Villa Luisa created a wonderfully, memorable family trip which for our family will treasure always. Molto apprezzamento e grazie!!

First time to Italy

This property is a gem in many ways. The home itself is laid out in a way that everyone can have their privacy and also enjoy time together. Every room has a view and a terrace and its own bathroom, which means no one feels like they have to settle for a less optimal room. Additionally, the home has a very comfortable sofa bed in the living room if a family needs an extra bed. The pool is a great treat and nice gathering place in the heat of the afternoon. The grounds are lovely - full of flowers, herbs, and greenery. We had Luisa cook for us on our first and last nights, which worked out perfectly with travel fatigue and preparation. The table was set beautifully, the food was delicious (first, second, third courses with desert) and graciously served. Anna took such great care of us. We had some travel difficulties as many people did this year, but Anna helped us figure out how to get our luggage, arranged all of our transportation (even when we had a last-minute change of mind about an activity), gave us dinner recommendations for Sorrento, checked on us daily to make sure we were doing okay, and made us feel at home and secure. Rafeale was an excellent driver. Anna scheduled him for us, and he was always prompt and full of information about the area. We did not rent a car, and I was glad because the traffic and the roads would take some practice to maneuver safely. However, the expense of getting around was unexpected and payment was expected in Euros, not credit card. I would just say be prepared for that because we kept having to find an ATM to get out Euros. When I go back, I will know how to budget for it, but if you are going for the first time I would suggest talking with Anna about your plans. She can help you estimate transportation costs so that you are prepared. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about the property, the hosts, and the excursions. They were all excellent.

We had a lovely stay. The villa was beautiful and very comfortable. Lots of space for 5 of us. We loved having the pool for a swim after a long day out. Luisa prepared a lovely meal for us one evening which fed us for a couple days. We arrived very late at night and Anna called the restaurant just up the road to see if we could get in for supper. It was just a short walk and we had such a great meal. We did return a couple times.

Perfect Villa near Sorrento

This villa will not disappoint. Beautiful home, perfect location, host will assist with excursions and transportation. Villa overlooks Capri and beautiful setting on mountains. Walking distance to some amazing restaurants and market. Host Luisa also made us dinner one night that was wonderful. Her daughter Anna can recommend places to go and see and always available for help. This is perfect for a family vacation in the quiet of the mountain yet close enough to enjoy the Amalfi Coast.

Our second time back, but it won’t be our last.

What’s there to say. We absolutely love Villa Luisa’s! The house is perfect for me, my husband, our 10 and 17 year old daughters. Large, spacious, incredible views, very well stocked, and Luisa, Anna and Sophie there to help with anything needed or just offer a kind hello. We took Signira Luisa up on her offer to make dinner for us the night we arrived, and it could not have been more amazing. She is an incredible cook! The meatballs were the best we’ve even had! The cake, incredible. Sitting outside, while the sunset over Capri in the distance, in this quiet, quaint little town of Massa Lubrense- I mean, it felt like a dream. We were able to do a load of clothes while we were there with no issue- they even had detergent for us to use. We didn’t rent a car, but they were so helpful in arranging both reservations and for a driver to take us to town for dinner one night. It was fantastic. Highly highly recommend! We’ll be back again for sure!

Lovely quiet stay

This is a beautiful property in Massa Lubrense, about 20 minutes by car from Sorrento. It is very spacious and perfect for a family. The outdoor area is just lovely with a beautiful view of Capri. It is quiet and peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento. We appreciated Sofia showing us around and Raffael taking my husband to the airport for his missing luggage. We enjoyed our meal at Cantuccio restaurant in Massa Lubrense.I highly recommend this beautiful home if you are looking for a peaceful location.

Amazing views, incredible villa

This villa was better than shown in the pictures. It is too hard to capture in a photo the tranquility of sitting on the stone porch listening to the birds, walking through the lemon & olive trees or watching the sun set over Capri in the distance. The house was well equipped & very comfortable. The hosts were very kind & helped us to make reservations at some amazing restaurants and recommended a fabulous cooking class. They even left us some homemade olive oil & limoncello - they were amazing! The villa is about 20 minutes from the main tourist area in Sorrento - close enough to amenities but far enough away to enjoy a peaceful vacation. Highly recommend!
