Great Stay

After our Kelley's Island rental was cancelled, we were worried about finding something nearby of the same quality. We were so glad we found this home. Beautiful views, clean, and a responsive host.Location was close to downtown Port Clinton.Would recommend!

Beautiful property

This is a lovely place to stay - clean, updated accommodations! The kitchen is perfectly appointed with everything you might need. While visiting, we enjoyed the Portage River Paddling company nearby for kayaking and paddle boarding, as well as trips to Perry Beach, Marblehead, and Lakeside.

Had a wonderful time! House was perfect, clean and well decorated! Lori made recommendations for restaurants which were wonderful.. jolly Roger’s and the Al Carte cafe! Perfect location to enjoy the jet express to put in bay and the miller ferry to middle island! Thank you!

Awesome House and Location

We absolutely enjoyed our recent stay. The house is well appointed with many thoughtful touches (toiletries, cooking basics, comfortable beds, nice quality towels, games, etc.). We had everything necessary for cooking in the kitchen. The location is one lot from the lake, but you have a fantastic view of the water from the backroom (great space to hang out and play games or do a puzzle). The neighborhood was quiet and a short drive to the area sites. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this to others.

Flawless

From the booking to check out, everything went flawless! This is our 2nd time at this property & it is very roomy & comfortable. The kitchen is extremely stocked with plates, bowls, glasses & cookware / bakeware. It is peaceful on the deck with a view of the lake. 2 refrigerator / freezers. All the comforts of home & is very nicely decorated. I highly recommend this property!

Very clean and cute rental near Lake Eerie

I loved this property. It is one of the cleanest rental houses I’ve stayed at. It’s such a cute place and close to a public beach. You get great views from sunroom and back patio but only downside is the rental is so close to Lake Eerie but there is no public access near the home to walk along the lake or anything because there are properties along the water and their backyards are right by the water. You still get a nice view from the house though and the public beach is close so it ended up being okay.

As soon as we opened the front door, we fell in love with the house! The decor was outstanding. The house was very clean, kitchen well-stocked and the pillows and beds super comfortable. A beautiful waterview from the sunroom. We had a great time going for walks, cooking, playing tons of games, enjoying the house and waterview. We will be back!! The owner, Lori Philpott, responded quickly to emails and also provided her cellphone number.

What a great, relaxing stay!

Wow, what a nice place! Tucked away on a dead end street very close to the lake. You can hear the waves crashing against the shore. My family and I enjoyed everything about this home. The house was spotless upon arrival. The home was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The beds were super cozy and everyone had a great nights sleep. There are plenty of towels and some very nice toiletries that both of my daughters enjoyed. The sunroom and back deck make it easy for everyone to spread out and relax. We had the opportunity to meet a few fine folks from the neighborhood. Everyone was so nice! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Lori, thank you for sharing your beautiful home with my family.

Wonderful home with all of the items we needed. The location was very quiet, safe, and close to everything we came to do. We had a range of ages from 11 years old to 70 and everyone loved it! Highly recommend staying at this location!

Lake Erie weekend

Very nice place and very nicely equipped with everything you’d need. Loved sitting in the sunroom with view of the lake. The only downside was the location. Too far to walk to town and no way to walk along the lake. Short street off a busy road.

I love to cook, #1 on my bucket list is to cook with Ina Garten, my HERO! My husband and I love to host dinner parties especially when the weather cooperates! I love being outside when it involves working in the yard tending to my perennials and water plants in the pond my husband created. I hope you enjoy your stay!

Why they chose this property

It's important to pay attention to details. We have stayed at many properties where the beds and bed pillows are truly uncomfortable. It important to have nice bedding where you can rest and recharge your battery for the next day. Our kitchen has probably every utensil, cooking, baking essential you'll need for a great stay. Plenty of large, white bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths. Starter supply of bath soap, shampoo and conditioner.

What makes this property unique

Amazing lake views from the back yard. Great outdoor living space to enjoy the lake whether enjoying a fire by the firepit or enjoying a game of cornhole while cooking out, our lake house will not disappoint.
