Fantastic family holiday.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful authentic Norman house. All the facilities you could want for a great holiday, set in stunning grounds and in an ideal location. Communication with property owner and manager was excellent before and during our stay. Highly recommend and would love to return.

There were 10 of us. Dining area was large and accommodating. Lounge area only had enough seating for 7. Not enough lounges and cushions in the garden area. Indoor pool was the most used area, great for the kids. Very quiet and peaceful.

Wonderful.

We had such a fantastic 10 days in this glorious house. It's utterly beautiful and looks as though it's stepped out of a fairy tale. The garden is huge and teeming with wildlife, the main house is wonderfully rustic with two substantial tables that are ideal for family games and the 3-bedroom annexe is so comfortable. The pool makes it especially brilliant - we spent the majority of our time using it. Thank you enormously Olivier and Didier.

Family celebrations

We chose this property to host husbands special birthday celebrations.The property is set in lovely grounds including enormous koi fish pond. Sleeping accommodation is split between main house and annex which suited us well but the 6th room (above the annex) constitutes a mattress on the floor and is only accessible via a ladder- possibly great for younger family members but not for adults as not able to stand up there. The pool was much used - smaller than it looks in the photos but nevertheless much enjoyed. Communication with host was best via the App and responses were timely. A local manager of the property was available for arrival etc but communication was a little more challenging due to our lack of fluent French and his of fluent English- he was however polite and responsive throughout. We had a rainy week and so the enormous dining table was great for family board games and eating all together.

Nous avons séjourné dans cette maison spacieuse avec un grand jardin très agréable. Le nombre de salles de bains était un vrai atout pour notre groupe de trois couples avec enfants, et la piscine couverte et chauffée a été particulièrement appréciée, surtout en raison du temps peu clément.Cependant, habitués à louer régulièrement des maisons de ce type, nous avons tous trouvé que certains aspects ne sont pas à la hauteur du tarif demandé :•Le ménage à notre arrivée laissait à désirer (présence de toiles d’araignée, poussière).•Les salles de bains mériteraient une rénovation : les rideaux de douche, en particulier, ne sont clairement pas à la hauteur d’une location de ce niveau ; absence de porte-serviettes, sèche-cheveux défectueux.•Le mobilier, tout comme la vaisselle, est daté et aurait besoin d’être renouvelé.•La cuisine ne contenait pas les ingrédients de base (huile, vinaigre, poivre…), ce qui est un détail souvent attendu dans ce type de location•La piscine intérieure ne dispose pas d’un système d’extraction d’air, entraînant une condensation constante et des serviettes qui ne sèchent pas.Le potentiel est réel, mais des améliorations seraient nécessaires pour que la prestation soit réellement en adéquation avec le standing annoncé et le prix pratiqué.

Séjour magnifique à la campagne. Seul bruit : les oiseaux. Piscine chauffée utilisée à toute heure de la journée,les enfants se sont éclatés.L’extérieur est immense de quoi jouer toute la journée et BBQ pour manger.Le samedi après-midi nous avons fait du canoë à Pont Audemer ,génial.

Maison idealement située dans un magnifique cadre de verdure qui meriterait un petit rafraichissement. Ceci dit nous avons passé un très bon week end ensoleillé en famille que nous avons tous trouvé trop court. Piscine chauffée très appréciée par tous. Le proprietaire arrangeant quant aux horaires d'arrivée.

C’est la 2eme fois que nous séjournons au Bois l’Abbé pour nous retrouver entre amis et c’est toujours un plaisir. L’environnement est calme et la maison idéale pour partager un bon repas préparé dans la cheminée et un apéritif au bord de la piscine. La maison dispose de tout l’équipement nécessaire et la literie est de bonne qualité. Merci à Olivier pour nos échanges et à Didier pour son accueil et sa bienveillance. Séjour tout confort dans une authentique chaumière

Superbe chaumière authentique, le charme de l ancien avec tout le confort (piscine intérieure , chauffage très efficace, cheminée, super literies..). Très bon séjour en famille

Nous avons bien profité de la maison qui est très agréable, mention spéciale pour la grande cheminée et surtout la piscine. Les enfants ont adoré et passé beaucoup de temps dans l'eau. MLa communication a été fluide et le propriétaire arrangeant sur les horaires d'arrivée et de départ.

Super séjour dans cette joyeuse maison

Super maison avec immense jardin, très très sympa pour un week-end familiale. Quelques bémols concernant des précisions dans l’annonce qui ne se sont pas avérées vraies (pas de clim, on nous a demandé de sortir les poubelles alors qu’il est précisé 200e de ménage sur l’annonce…). Cependant, nous avons partagé ce feedback avec le propriétaire qui est très à l’écoute de ses locataires et très aidant. Je recommande !!
