Hummingbird Beach Hut, a charming 2-storey chalet boasting 2 bedrooms and 2 ensuite bathrooms, comfortably accommodates up to 5 guests. The primary bedroom, featuring a queen-size bed, TV, and ensuite bathroom with an outdoor shower, is situated on the first (main) floor.

The second bedroom, located on the ground floor and connected to the main floor by external stairs, features a king-size bed, a convertible sofa for a single bed, and an ensuite bathroom showcasing the original granitic rocks.

The open plan main floor integrates a fully fitted and equipped kitchen, dining and living rooms, and a deck area. This innovative concept sets Hummingbird apart on Praslin. Additionally, the chalet includes a private deck and a plunge pool situated on the ground floor.

Perfect for couples that can make the most of our best rates. Or families with older children, and even ideal for two couples, as the bedrooms are strategically placed on different floors, ensuring ample privacy for all guests. It’s important to note that Hummingbird is not recommended for families with young children, given that the bedrooms are connected by external stairs.

As we offer varied rates based on occupancy to provide our guests with optimal pricing, it’s important to note that when the chalet is booked for two persons only, just one bedroom will be available. The second bedroom will remain securely locked throughout the entire stay.

We had an amazing stay at Pointe Beach Hut. Aretha is always available to answer any questions, and everything is handled very professionally. Anacel was lovely during our stay, and the property is very well maintained. The apartment is very comfortable, the service is impeccable, and nestled in nature, it feels like a little slice of paradise.

Idylisch gelegene Unterkunft

Unser Aufenthalt im Hummingbird Beach-Hut war sehr schön. Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig und die Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Das Personal war durchweg ausgesprochen freundlich und der Service sehr aufmerksam und immer sofort verfügbar. Die Unterkunft ist sehr abgelegen. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es ein sehr gutes Restaurant, ansonsten benötigt man auf jeden Fall ein Auto. Für Familien oder auch zwei befreundete Paare sehr zu empfehlen!

Amazing place to stay

We just had a wonderful stay at La Pointe Beach Huts. The apartment is perfect for a family and has so many great spots for a great holiday, the small pool where the kids played while the parents relaxed, the spacious open air living room/kitchen surrounded by tropical trees (black parrots keeping you company!), the elegant bedrooms and even the bathroom with granite boulders typical of Seychelles. The staff was very attentive and Maria always ready to help with a smile. The beach (perfect for sunsets) and the very good Rochers restaurant are just a few meters away. Highly recommended!

Wir waren vor unserm Segeltörn 2 Nächte in diesem wunderbaren Chalet. Das chillen auf der Terrasse, was gleichzeitig Wohnzimmer, Esszimmer und Küche ist, war sehr entspannt. Vier Treppen runter und wir waren auf unserer zweiten Terrasse mit Privatpool.Mega! Die Managerin Kathrina ist super nett, sie hasst uns auch mit zum Supermarkt genommen, da wir keinen Mietwagen hatten. Da im Restaurant der Anlage keine weitere Reservierung vorlag hat der Koch uns das Abendessen und Frühstück im Chalet serviert. Wir würden immer wiederkommen!

Ein sehr schöner Ort auf Praslin. Das Haus hat inzwischen statt des Jacuzzi einen eigenen kleinen Pool, den wir sehr schön fanden. Catharina hat uns bei all unseren Wünschen stets weitergeholfen, vielen Dank dafür. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden das Hummingbird Beach Hut jederzeit wieder mieten.

Schönes Ambiente, viel Privatsphäre

Liebevoll eingerichtete Unterkunft. Es gibt leider den Jacuzzi nicht mehr, dafür aber einen kleinen Pool auf der tieferliegenden Terasse. Ein Mietwagen ist definitiv zu empfehlen um in den nächsten Ort zu kommen oder zu schöneren Stränden im Norden. Wir mussten aus privaten Gründen vorzeitig die Unterkunft verlassen, was ohne Probleme nötig war.

Amazing.

Me and my family love the place. The closest beach is calm and lovely. We were fishing from the beach and got a lot of fish. The House were amazing and the people who work there were so nice and friendly and they were very helpful. Will stay at this place next time we visit Praslin.

Die Unterkunft entspricht zu 100 Prozent den Bildern. Perfekt für 2 Personen. Sehr schön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Sauber und voll ausgestattet. Ruhig gelegen. Parkplatz am Haus in der Anlage. Auto ist empfehlenswert um Strände wie den Anse Lazio und Supermärkte zu erreichen. Bus fährt aber auch in der Nähe. Auch die zwei anderen grösseren Chalets im Gelände sind sehr schön. Die Hausdame Brigitte war auch sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Perfektes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Super Urlaub in einer tollen Unterkunft

Wir waren zwei Wochen im Hummingbird Hut und fanden es super. So eingebettet in die Natur, teilweise hörten wir nur die Vögel zwitschern. Der Ausblick jeden Morgen liess den Tag tiefenentspannt beginnen. Die Lage war auch gut, konnten alles gut erkunden von da aus, Mietwagen empfehlenswert, wobei Bushaltestelle gleich vorn an der Straße. Der Strand vor der Haustür war schön, wir hatten ihn für uns allein und haben ihn oft genutzt. Unsere Host Brigitte hat sich rührend um uns gekümmert und wir fühlten uns bestens aufgehoben. Sie hat uns auch sehr leckeres creolisches Essen gezaubert. Wir waren begeistert und kommen sehr gern wieder.

Aussergewöhnlich & sehr empfehlenswert

Wir verbrachten 4 wundervolle Tage hier, obwohl das Wetter nicht ganz so schön war und das macht eben eine besondere Unterkunft aus, wenn man sich dann trotzdem noch wohlfühlt. Der herausragende Service begann schon im Vorfeld, Aretha beantwortete nicht nur unsere emails blitzschnell, sie gab uns auch wundervolle Tipps. Unaufgefordert bekamen wir wenige Tage vor unserem Urlaubsbeginn noch eine liebevolle email mit Hinweisen, wir reisen viel, aber so einen tollen Service haben wir noch nie erlebt. Von Brigitte und Francis wurden wir vor Ort liebevoll empfangen & auf unseren Wunsch erstklassig! bewirtet, das Abendessen ist wirklich empfehlenswert um 50-60€/2Personen. Das Restaurant Les Rochers, etwas teuer, aber auch sehr gut, ist zudem nur knapp 300m von der Unterkunft entfernt. Richard, über Aretha gebucht, hat uns nicht nur am Flughafen abgeholt und danach zur Fähre für unsere Weiterreise gebracht, er holte uns dort auch für den Rückflug nach Mahe zuverlässig wieder ab. Der Strand, Anse St. Sauveur, ist himmlisch und absolut ruhig; wir trafen hier kaum jemanden. Feinster Sand, sehr sauber! Im Bereich des Restaurants: tolle Granitformationen, abends mit Beleuchtung. Wir waren das erste Mal auf Praslin und haben die Insel erkundet. Unser Ergebnis lautet uneingeschränkt: Hummingbird Beach Hut war die beste Wahl, die wir hier treffen konnten; abseits vom Tourismus und so liebevoll umsorgt, jederzeit wieder! Der nächste Ort ist ca. 6km entfernt; Bushaltestellen totz der abgelegenen Lage in ca. 300m Entfernung & Francis fährt gegen einen kleinen Obolus auch gerne. Im nächsten Ort gibt es ATM & kleine Supermärkte sowie andere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Unterkunft selbst: traumhaft! Schöner Blick aus dem offenen Wohnbereich mit Küche auf den Indischen Ozean. Eine Liegeinsel im Wohnbereich, auf der man sich einfach wohlfühlen muss, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, obwohl wir das nicht genutzt haben, es ist sogar eine Waschmaschine vorhanden. Sehr bequemes Bett und zahlreiche Ablagemöglichkeiten. Das Highlight war die Außendusche, direkt im Anschluss an das großzügige Badezimmer. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Ein Gecko und Vögel mit unirdisch schönen Gesängen gehören hier abseits der Tourismuspfade dazu. Internetzugang ist begrenzt, was das einzige kleine Manko war, aber ich denke, dass wird sich ändern, wie überall auf den Seychellen. Insgesamt war es die schönste Unterkunft unserer 17-tägigen Reise und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Why they chose this property

Having a hectic and stressful life decidedly made me build a house in a very quiet area, close to the beach that is peaceful throughout. Being surrounded by the tropical forest with birds singing away is the best getaway I have and something which I wish to share to others.

What makes this property unique

The hut is truly jewel being the perfect spot for a romantic trip to the Seychelles. It is surrounded by rocks and trees and one has a sense of being at nature. One can relax on the private deck, enjoy the private or a refreshing bath at the outside shower.
