perfect family house and park

We as a family of eight had a wonderful time in and around this house. The garden/park is great, own tennis court, even it´s own small river with boat, our children loved it. The price is absolutely fair. Pierre helps with every problem, at the same time we had perfekt privacy. In 13 days we stayed four days completely in house and garden, so much to enjoy!

Great apartment for familiy boulder vacancies

We had a lovely stay in this house. Every day we had breakfast and dinner on the large sunny terrace. There is a large area with a small river and a tiny paddle boat, lots of space to run and play and a really nice landscape with lots of old trees, a very trusting chicken and some ducks. All bouldering areas can be reached in about half an hour and the hosts Pierre and Monique are very friendly and easy going. We would definitely visit this house again and can highly recommend it.

Lovely spacious house and beautiful surroundings

We really had a great stay in Paley. Pierre and Monique were very nice and helpfull! We loved the tenniscourt, the beautiful garden, our terraces, the sounds and sights of many birds and other animals around the house. It was also a perfect place for trips to Paris; about twenty minutes bij car to Moret station plus about 45 minutes to Paris Gare de Lyon. Easy does it! We would love to come again some time! Thanks again Pierre and Monique!

Très belle propriété spatieuse dans un environnement merveilleusement vert et au calme parfait. Place pour une grande voiture sans que celle-ci soit encombrante dans lespace jardin/terrasses. Maison avec tous les équipements nécessaire pour faciliter la vie. Lave linge, machine à vaisselle, machine Nespresso, aspirateur de qualité. Wi-Fi impeccable. 2 Wochen in Les Gros Ormes / Paley

Wir hatten als 5-köpfige Familie sehr abwechslungsreiche 2 Wochen in Les Gros Ormes / Paley - auch mit mehreren Ausflügen und nach Paris und in den Wald / die Gegend von Fontainebleau. Der parkähnliche Garten mit Tennisplatz lud uns zu vielen sportlichen Aktivitäten ein und war Ruhepol insbesondere nach den Ausflügen in die Metropole Paris. So haben wir fast jeden Tag Tennis gespielt. Pierre und Monique waren dabei für uns sehr hilfsbereite und zuvorkommende Vermieter.

Tolles Haus und Gelände

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Pierre war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und kleineren Problemen wurde schnell und entgegenkommend abgeholfen. Der Garten ist ein Traum, die Kinder haben vor allem das Boot und das Flüsschen geliebt. Und es gab Entenküken! Das Haus ist toll mit unterschiedlichen Ebenen ( mit Kleinkindern sind die offenen Treppenstufen wohl nicht gut geeignet). Vor Ort ist eine Kaution zu zahlen und der Strom kommt zusätzlich dazu, das war mir aus dem deutschen Inserat nicht klar. Ist aber alles mit Pierre gut zu klären! Die Lage ist sehr schön, ruhig, aber Paris und die Wälder um Fontainebleau sind gut erreichbar. Vielen Dank! Judith

Les points positifs: parc sympathique avec basse cour , accès cour de tennis. Les points moins positifs: à l arrivée 14 degrés dans la maison (pas de chauffage avant arrivée des locataires), problème électrique avec absence d électricité dans la cuisine à l arrivée et le salon (donc pas de chauffage possible à l arrivée, et réparation après appel du propriétaire...) Cheminée mais pas de bois en stock et pas de proposition d usage ,Lit gigogne difficilement ouvrable , avec sommier de fortune qui s affaisse et saletés sous le lit, Hébergement prévu pour 8 mais manque d ustensiles de cuisine de base (exemple pas une tourtière pour faire un tarte ou quiche) et carte TELE HS à l arrivée donc pas de télé les 3 premiers jours du séjour Bref nous avons passé les 3 premiers jours soit la moitié du séjour à régler les soucis accumulés . Pour Finir pas un geste commercial du propriétaire concernant le règlement de l électricité (en espèces bien sur) et nous avons même payé quelques euros de consommation d électricité ne nous incombant pas (écart entre le relevé noté et le relevé photographié à l arrivée ... vu après ). Bref séjour serein et détendu.

Nice holiday home with tennis court

We had a great week in the gîte. The domain is very green and nice. We liked the tennis court very much and played every day. Perfect for hiking, different possibilities nearby. Bakery and supermarket only 3km. The terraces of the gîte were very nice, each gîte had his privacy in the domain. The living of the gîte is big and nice to relax with access to 2nd terrace. Owner is very friendly.

Idyllic French cottage with lots of space and tranquility

We have just enjoyed a wonderful holiday week in this beautiful holiday home in Paley. I booked it last minute (3 days before we were going to go). The owner contacted me almost immediately so that it could be arranged quickly. On arrival we found the owner at the house at the agreed time. The house turned out to be really beautiful, as in the pictures. A house with height levels which ensures that a large house still gives a cozy feeling. Both on the lowest level and on the mezzanine floor there is a spacious terrace with good garden furniture and a parasol. There is a very large garden / park around the house where we were also allowed to stay. You will also find chickens and ducks scurrying around peacefully. It is also very idyllic at the river in the back of the garden. And there's even a tennis court that you can use if you want! The house was neatly clean on arrival. We really needed some peace and quiet, we had that there! The owner is easily approachable for questions. He is a very friendly, helpful and hospitable man who is easy to communicate with because he speaks quite good English. There are many beautiful chateaus to visit in the area and there is the wooded nature reserve around Fontainebleau. The owner can also advise you on how, what and where. I was sorry we were only there for 1 week. I would love to come there again!

Wonderful days

We have just spent a week in this gite. The house has a very interesting lay out, lots of stairs but somehow that works really well. The outside deck smells like sauna which helps you dream away even more. The grounds are big enough to wander around and have fun. There is a natural spring, a tennis court, volleyball net, soccer goals, secret hide out, a refreshing spring, ducks and chickens and probably more that I'm forgetting now. The kitchen is Very well equipped with every thing you might need. The house is situated in a rural area with many interesting sites nearby. A car is necessary. Thank you very much Pierre & Monique for having us, we have loved every minute!

Magical get-away

Amazing, peaceful grounds to get away from it all. The children loved rowing in the stream, hiding in the trees, and the whole family enjoyed playing petanque, football, volleyball, and tennis on the property. Pierre and Monique were warm, welcoming, and very responsive to any questions and problems we had when we were there. The house design is unique and full of light and offered lots of different spaces indoors and out for family members to relax and have their own space. We look forward to coming back in the future.

Lovely rustic gite and an excellent host!

We have just spent a lovely week in this gite which is well located for climbing at Fontainebleau (approx 30 mins drive). The house is lovely and set in extensive grounds with tennis court which we really enjoyed. There are local shops and a super bakery with delicious croissants and bread a short drive a way. We also did a day trip to Paris, using the train which was very simple. Our host, Pierre was very helpful with all sorts of things such as driving directions, advice on getting to Paris etc. He really couldn't have done more to make our stay comfortable. Thank you!

Climbing Fontainebleau

The property is beautiful, not as secluded as I had hoped but beautiful non the less. Pierre was a great host and we couldn’t have asked for better in terms of service and communication. The property could have been a bit cleaner, lots of cobwebs on bookcase which needs dusting ASAP. All I’d suggest is that Pierre has a word with the cleaner and asks them to be a bit more thorough.
