Beautifully Remodeled Bliss House - Sleeps up to 15

Peak Season: Minimum 5 night stay - June-August Thursday - Tuesday stays only or call for available days Two-One-Eight-547-4004
Off-Peak Season: Minimum 3 night stay

We provide mattress pads, top and bottom sheets and blankets. You will need to bring your own pillows, also as our policy states (you need to bring your own paper products (paper plates, paper-towels, silverware, napkins, cups, toilet paper and Kleenex). We will provide minimal dishes and cookware.


Any Events held on property i.e. retreats, weddings, anniversary’s, birthdays, parties, etc. need to be approved by management first, renters not complying will be charged. ($500 fine will apply).

Bliss House can sleep 15 people maximum with 7 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, they include…

Wonderful Quiet Stay in God's Country

Our family of 15 age 9 month to 66 came together for our 5 day family vacation at the wonderful Camp Bliss. The lake is on the smaller side, but it worked out beautifully. It was clear as a bell and quiet. Our grandkids fished off the end of the dock and caught little pumkin seeds and bass. Perfect for 3-7 year olds. The sand bar was a hit as well, here our kids could enjoy the lake in shallow weed free surroundings. The home was spotless and fit our family perfectly. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed to fix wonderful meals. We love the BlackStone for meat and breakfast preps. All in all we loved staying here. The only reason we hesitate fo rebook is the no cancelation policy. Things do come up that are out of one's control, and it is reassuraning to know that you are able to cancel if needed at least a couple weeks before the actual booking. I would not expect any money back less than 2 weekis prior. Camp Bliss is a wonderful location, thank you for the opportunity to stay at your beautiful home.

The location was perfect for getting things in Walker, but still felt remote enough to be away from it all. Highly recommend for a group getaway any chance you get!

Wanda was nice to work withWe had a clitch with the toilet not working in the master suit and was given tools to fix it ourselves. We discovered one of the bedrooms did mot have Aircondioning on the upper level All in all this was our 2nd time at the Bliss House. We are suprised they don’t recycle. Also it would be nice if there were barbeque tools for the BLackstone Grill. The large yard and fire ring is great

For those of us whom are seniors the stairs becomes a problem. The little ones missed not having a beach to play on nor any playground equipment.

The house had a great set up with the kitchen, living room, and basement all with a lot of space. We really enjoyed the calm lake, very few boats the weekend we stayed and spent a lot of time at the sandbar and fishing.The only disadvantage was the location of the bathrooms, the upstairs has 3 bedrooms and only 1 bathroom located in the master bedroom. The main floor had 2 bathrooms, although one was located in another bedroom.

It works perfect for our family who needs multiple rooms and want to be close to Walker and Hackensack. It's a short walk to the lake and the sandbar is also a short distance which is great for swimming. Amenities were great, we love to use the kayaks and paddle boards. Booking and working with Wendy and team is always a pleasure.

The house is gorgeous and styled so cute, huge yard, big dock for everyone to lay on, beautiful view on the lake. The house was also exceptionally clean, the owners made everything easy and it’s a close trip to get into town.

All were clean and everything in working order. We enjoyed the yard space for outside games and the swimming at the sand bar was fun for all ages. Since this is a handicap accessible facility, I would highly recommend paving the path to the lake. Another recommendation would be to have a washer/dryer available to guests. With a 5 day minimum and providing your own towels, it would be appreciated.Wanda was fantastic, always answering our questions. This was our second reunion at Camp Bliss and we loved it.

Fantastic

Perfect weather and house for our family. Access to the dock, fire pit and around the house was easy for my mom. The lake was perfect- caught a lot of fish, wayerskied, kayaked and played. Rode bike into walker from the house to the bike . trails. Perfect house for our family.

Beautiful house. Lots of space

The house and property were beautiful and spacious. We used the generous yard to play games, ran on the dirt road right outside the house, and were only a short hop from Walker for any supplies. The only downside is that swimming right off the dock is a little difficult due to the lilly pads, but with paddle boards, kayaks and renting a pontoon boat we were able to fully enjoy the lake. Once covid ends and we don't need to bring our own bedding things will be a bit easier. Also, the lack of a washer/dryer and the requirement to sweep/clean the house befor leaving seems a bit strange since not cleaning is part of the point of a vacation home. Overall a wonderful experience, and we would definitely come back.

Perfect family vacation location

Beautiful property! Loved the seclusion of the lake. Plenty of amenities for our large family. Near by Leach Lake and downtown for fun browsing and dining. We enjoyed renting jetskis and a pontoon nearby, and we did a lot of biking and paddle boarding. The entire family voted this a must return to property. Very nice onsite property managers - very available.

We enjoyed the Bliss House with all the space needed to accommodate our expanding family as well as my sister who uses a wheelchair. We found that this house met all of our unique needs, a second kitchen in the basement is perfect when prepping a big meal, the large dining table, fire pit, 6 bedrooms, and the lake access is very convenient. We enjoyed taking the short boat ride to the sandbar where the kids could play and adults could relax. Walker is just a short trip away for groceries, bars and other activities.

Great place for a great price!

The house is absolutely stunning and accommodated our every need. The house sits back in the woods in between two lakes so our views were amazing from either side. The staff were especially great and very helpful. We will for surely be planning our next stay there. Thanks to camp bliss everyone had a wonderful and relaxing weekend.
