apartment on the ground floor of a contemporary house, bathed in sunlight, overlooking a shaded terrace, garden and heated swimming pool. Ideal location, quiet, on foot, 15 minutes from downtown, 4 minutes from the train station. A pretty decoration, a haven of peace. Fully equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer, induction hob ...) Bed and bathroom linen provided. A double bed (160x200), a baby bed can possibly be provided. The owners, young retirees, speak fluent English and basic Spanish, and regularly receive foreigners .... The place is located near major tourist spots and is suitable for those looking for peace in the evening as well as those who want to enjoy the entertainment of the city .... there is room to park a vehicle.

Lovely short stay

We had a wonderful few days in Claudine’s accommodation. Everything was well presented and comfortable. Beautiful gardens and surroundings. Bit too chilly for the pool at this time of year though. Very welcoming hosts and can thoroughly recommend this apartment.

Vacances à SARLAT Dordogne

Du 10/08 au 24/08/2024 avons séjourné dans un gîte confortable avec tout ce qu’il faut chez Claudine et Alain des personnes très sympathique. Proche de Sarlat à pied (très belle ville touristique) Nous étions au calme et il y avait la piscine pour nous rafraîchir. Beaucoup d’endroits à visiter je vous le recommande

Wonderful location and property

Perfect location for so much of what we wanted to do, Caves, kayak, gardens. The hosts are very sweet and helpful. The property is great, pool, garden and patio a bonus.

Très beau séjour

Nous avons été très bien acceuilli et le logement etait conforme à la description et aux photos. L'endroit est très tranquille , la terrasse bien agréable et spacieuse. La piscine, avec ses sièges,chaises longues et parasol, juste à côté de la terrasse, est impeccable. Le tout , entouré par un terrain, arboré . Sarlat ,magnifique ville médiévale est à quelques centaines de mètres en contrebas.

Un petit coin de paradis

La location est vraiment très bien située. A coté du centre ville de Sarlat et des différents sites d'excursion. La location est propre et bien aménagée. Le petit plus est l'accès à la piscine. Merci à Claudine et son mari pour leur accueil chaleureux

Zentral gelegene Ferienwohnung

Ein tolles Domizil um die wunderschöne Gegend der Dordogne zu erkunden. Die Altstadt von Sarlat de Caneda ist zu Fuß in 10 min. erreichbar. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, leider fehlt ein Backofen, dafür ist ein Tischgrill vorhanden.

Tout près de Sarlat mais au calme

Très agréable semaine. Le centre-ville de Sarlat est à 15 minutes à pied. Excellente position pour rayonner dans toute la vallée de la Dordogne. Et une piscine privatisée, pour se rafraîchir après une journée de découverte. Nous recommandons.

Very nice apartment if a little out of town, (20 minute walk). All amenities as per the website. Claudine was very helpful with places to see. Nice swimming pool.

Vacances merveilleuses

Claudine et Alain sont très agréables et d une grande gentillesse. Ils sont très à l écoute et de bon conseils. Nous avons pu profiter de la belle terrasse ombragée ainsi que de la piscine. Le logement est idéalement situé à 20 mns à pied de Sarlat. Nous y retournerons sans aucun soucis. Merci encore à vous deux Marc et Claudine

Très bon séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Claudine et Alain sont très sympathiques et serviables. L’appartement est très bien équipé, à 20 min à pied du centre historique de Sarlat en marchant tranquillement. Nous avons eu la piscine pour nous 3 quasiment toute la semaine. Merci à vous pour votre accueil chaleureux (et vos excellentes confitures ! ), nous ne manquerons pas de revenir si nous repassons en Dordogne.

It is Country in the Town

Hosts - Claudine and Alain are charming. Claudine is fluent in English and Alain also speaks english. They are extremely helpful and friendly. Also they go out of their way to ensure your privacy. Apartment - The pictures are a true reflection of the property. I do think the shower is bigger than it looks on the picture. The bed is extremely comfortable. We always take a few bits with us to help in the kitchen based on passed holidays, kitchen knives, frying pan (hob is induction). we didn't need anything as the place is well equipped. Gardens. This photos do not do the gardens justice. The plot is large and wraps round the apartment with the main direction South to South West. The tress give privacy from surrounding properties but do not overshadow the apartment. Patio - Large with a shaded area and also a non-shaded area. Very quiet considering it is in the town. The swimming pool pump water gives a sound like a garden water feature which is strangely calming. Swimming Pool - Wonderful and the also a suntrap. Parking - Plenty of space and shaded to some degree. Location to Town. We walked in many times. On google maps it gives 19 minutes to walk, the property is actually 1 minute up the hill from google positioning so allow 20 minutes to cathedral. It is an accurate reflection. My only warning is that the whole walk into town is without any hills except the last 50 to 60 metres where there is a steep hill. If you have any walking difficulty beware. Access at the property. The house and the apartment are on a hill side. There are steps down through the garden to the apartment, it would not be suitable for wheel chairs nor would I recommend for anybody with walking difficulty. Overall a lovely place to stay with great hosts. If another visit to Sarlat area this is where I would try to book first. Thank you Claudine and Alain for allowing us to use your home.

Séjour parfait

Accueil très chaleureux par les propriétaires, discrets, disponibles et bien plus encore. Le logement est très calme et fonctionnel très bien agencé avec un superbe espace terrasse et une piscine disponible à tout moment et quasiment privée de part la délicatesse des propriétaires . Le linge de maison ,d une hygiene parfaite qui est fourni, est un atout majeur pour un séjour comme nous motards. Nous espérons Claudine et Alain pouvoir vous rendre à nouveau visite plus longuement pour decouvrir plus encore cette merveilleuse Dordogne en famille. Nous vous remercions encore pour tout et pour ces moments d échanges et de partages. Bonne continuation à vous

PERFECT STAY

We have been there for a week and everything was just perfect. The apartment is as shown in the pictures in a quiet area not far from the city centre (20 minute walking distance). It had everything you need, toiletries, towels, tea, coffee... Claudine and Alain made us feel like home, helping us in every possible way, giving us advice about places to go, what to visit... I have no words to thank them about everything.If I go back to Sarlat again, I will stay there for sure.
