Very pleasant stay

Cozy and cool house, with all necessities. The house is spacious and nicely decorated. The large pool was our favorite place to relax. Calm area. Very kind and helpfull host. Located close to shopping. Only 5 min drive to centre of village. We send many thanks for a very pleasant stay!

Nice house, amazing pool

We stayed for 9 nights in Doms really nice house, it had everything you need including a barbecue. There’s a nice terrace just outside the kitchen and an awesome, huge private pool. Everything was really nice, just one small downside: the place could have been a little cleaner. Starting with the floor of the terrace, the clothing cabinets or the bathroom. Overall still an amazing place, would recommend booking it!

A pleasant stay

The gite is quite basic and a bit tired, could do with a freshen up. It could do with a washing machine if you are staying for 2 weeks it would help if you could wash towels and bed linen. The owner Dominic was very good and washed our towels for us after us asking. It would have been nice to have a small welcome pack of some water and bread etc especially if people arrive late at night The place lacks any information with regard to the gite and the area. No WIFI code you need to ask the owner! TV doesn't work. The pool is lovely but you need to maintain it yourself! You definitely need a car as Sarlat town is a good 40 minute walk away. Bike hire is available down the road and there are some lovely cycle paths to explore the area. Carsac is a beautiful village nearby which has amazing water gardens. Canoeing down the Dordogne is a must! A lovely restaurant called Le Grand Bleu which is a 5 minute drive away is well worth a visit. The owner Dominic is very helpful and lives across the way if you need help with anything. All in all a pleasant stay.

Super maison !

Super maison pour un couple avec enfant. Elle est très bien située à Sarlat et dans la région pour les visites. La piscine est tout simplement top et sans vis-à-vis. Même si un refresh est à prévoir sur quelques endroits, nous y reviendrons avec plaisir pour profiter de la région.

Magnifique maison de vacances idéalement située

La maison est propre, fonctionnelle et idéalement située: quelques minutes pour rejoindre les commerces ou le centre de Sarlat. A peine un quart d'heure en voiture pour accéder aux château de Castelnaud ou aux jardins de Marqueyssac par ex. La piscine est grande et bien entretenue (nettoyée tous les jours). La météo favorable a fait qu'on a pu en profiter toute la semaine avec une eau à 28° ce qui était parfait après nos excursions. Dominic le propriétaire est très accueillant et très sympa, discret mais disponible si besoin. Bref la maison parfaite pour découvrir le Périgord noir en été.

Vacances superbes car beaucoup de choses à visiter que ce soit historique ou plein air ainsi que les villages animés,le soir. Au niveau cuisine, les dégustations et restos, que nous avons fait, étaient exquis beaucoup de découvertes gustatives. L'accueil, des commerçants, était super.

Séjour agréable et accueil très sympathique !

Séjour très agréable et calme dans cette maison très joliment aménagée, avec une piscine rafraîchissante avec la canicule, et dans une région riche en activités possibles (visites, randonnées, ballades, terroir, histoire ...). Petit bémol: la maison se trouve un peu en dehors de Sarlat, donc déplacement en voiture voire en vélo. C'est le prix du calme et du joli lieu ! Gérant anglophone, très sympathique! Thank you !
