Awesome location just needs some updating and repairs.

You really can't beat Ocean Lakes Campground, it's got everything you could possibly imagine. And though this home is one of the older homes in the campground, and does need some updating and repairs, it's very close to the beach and has plenty of space for a family of 6. And the property manager was very friendly and responsive, and was very accommodating with any problems that arose.

We got there the door was locked. She had to let us in the the door lock was messed up. The bath tubes had black hair in them . My wife had to spend time cleaning the tubes and sinks . The floors felt like they were falling in very unlevel. The tv in the living room is outdated. We kept running out of hot water had to take cold showers! Good location close to the ocean .

Spur of the moment weekend

Decided at last minute to get away. The house was less than a minute from the beach, parking was tight was very good location.

Great location!

The property manager, Cathy, was amazing! She was extremely responsive. The property had a perfect location and the beds were very comfortable. It was nicely decorated, too! There were enough dishes, pots/pan/utensils to have an enjoyable stay. We had good water pressure and always enough hot water for our group of 6. It's not a big place, at all. If you pay attention to the VRBO photos, you'll see that. Bedrooms were tiny and the bunk bed room didn't have enough space to climb the bunk ladder. We happened to travel with a step stool to get to our luggage carrier on the top of our car so our youngest used that to get to the top bunk. They provided an inflatable bed that was extremely comfortable but in order to use it, you give up up your living room space. It was tight to get used to at first but, in all honestly, we weren't inside enough to have it bother us. The home is also not level so doors would stick and you'd sometimes feel like you were walking in a fun house. But we got used to the little quirks and always had a good night sleep just 6 houses from the beach.
