The house is so beautiful and roomy. We had an issue with the coffee maker for a few days and they were always quick to help. Eventually they just bought a new one to replace the broken one. The key fobs didn't work at first but again they replaced after the first day.

We loved our stay at this property as it was plenty of room for our family of 13! The pool was a hit with our kds and the view was amazing. The property manager was very accommodating and helpful to our family and tended to any needs we had. The location was perfect - a short drive to Playa del Coco and an even shorter drive to Playa del Hermosa. We highly recommend this property!

Our family celebrated my husbands retirement with a family vacation!! We were thrilled with our Vrbo! The pool was bigger and better than we expected! Absolutely fantastic view, very well laid out with great bathrooms and bedrooms and well stocked kitchen. Golf carts are great for short trips and teens to take to the beach. Property manager and concierge and housekeeping were all attentive and very nice.

My closest friends and family stayed at this GORGEOUS property for the night of my wedding and a few days after and it was truly a dream come true. The property is breathtaking, clean, and spacious. Bret was a pleasure to work with. He communicated wonderfully and also set things up for me with ease like a brunch for my wedding morning and grocery delivery. Amazing Ocean View House with Infinity Pool

This ocean view house in Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica, is simply amazing. The infinity pool offers stunning views of the Pacific, especially at sunset. The house is spacious, modern, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is great! Close to the beach and local spots. The host was extremely helpful, and Playa Hermosa’s natural beauty is unmatched. Highly recommend this place for a Costa Rica getaway!

Visited nearly every island in Caribbean, and Mexico looking for the right combination of tropical living, affordability, things to do, safety, and a stable government. Costa Rica is the best. The people are very nice and not resentful of foreigners. There is not the poverty nor crime of other countries. There is such an eclectic mix of people from all over the world who come here to vacation, snowbird, or full time living, it is very exciting!

Why they chose this property

I looked at 50 Villas and as soon as I walked into Sun Monkey, I knew it to be home. Unless you have spent some time in this area, it is difficult to to explain the differences between SM and other homes in this price range. Location, location, location. Very close to beach, but away from hubub. Very short and easy drive from main road. Large 1.75 acres of lush private gardens. Private enough to host a nudist group! The extra pavilion structure is very special. It provides another gathering place, enabling a large group or family to spread out and not feel on top of one another. It regularly hosts morning exercise sessions, afternoon naps, 15 people doing yoga, and twilight evenings rocking & watching magnificent Sunsets, with a cold one. We have had the pool redone and added sun shelves to linger on. A new hot tub spa is installed between pool and pavilion. Hidden Outdoor shower could have been built by Fred Flintstone and receives interesting reviews by guests!
And we have the best full time property management. Malinche Properties make your vacation effortless. Owning two restaurants and a brewery provide us the platform to offer numerous chef and meal options from "white tablecloth" to simple BBQ's.

What makes this property unique

HUGE 60' pool. Spa/Hot Tub. Outdoor Pavilion. Ocean view Casita (guest house) is close enough to main house (30 feet) where all feel part of group, but great place for young adults who need own space. Covered rancho with wet bar and grill. Multiple "spaces" for a large group to spread out to. Bunk room for kids, cousins, and friends. Never feeling crowded.
