Location perfect short walk to two hotel restaurants, 2 coffee/pastry shops on same block. Fascinating area and the vibe from townsfolk is that they enjoy living in .arfa. we took daytrips to Big Bend and Terlingua.

We love staying at this property. This was our second time here and have already booked a 3rd stay. The location is perfect for a Marfa visit. The accommodations are great and have everything we need.

Adorable little house in the middle of everything

We stayed here to travel to the eclipse and experience Marfa. The house is small but comfortable and had everything we needed. The steam shower is a must (especially in the dry desert). An absolutely enjoyable stay.

West Texas Hidden Treasure

We had a fabulous stay! We loved everything about this precious little duplex that is centrally located to everything in Marfa. We had access to everything we could possibly need and more! We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Marfa.

Wonderfull Location

Perfect for a couple. Easy walking to all of the restaurants and shops in Marfa. We used the house as our base to explore Big Bend and the area around Marfa. Quiet neighborhood. Could use some refining to get to five stars but I would recommend it to anyone staying in Marfa.

Very close to everything... lacking a few small things

Great location. Check in was easy. Slightly disappointed by the apparent lack of Wifi, password given did not work. Tv/satellite did not appear to work. Also lacking some wine glasses and a cork screw in the kitchen. Overall nice, but there are probably better places for the money. Furnishings seem tired.

Sweet little place

We were visiting Marfa for the art scene and managed to fit in a quick trip to MacDonald Observatory as well. The only glitch was using the fancy keypad lock but the owner was super responsive and we got in with no delay. It was probably operator error (I may have been typing in the wrong code even tho the code was my own phone number!) Whatever the issue was the owner responded instantly and we were in. Can’t say enough about how clean the place is! It is small and the kitchen area is tiny. We mostly went out to eat and any cooking we did was vacation minimalist cooking. This place was perfect for our needs. Great shaded porch to sit outside for morning coffee or happy hour I’d definitely rent again. Room for socializing, more comfortable than a hotel room and being able to do a little cooking made this a good choice for us.

Perfect Place for Two in Prime Location

My spouse and I spent the weekend in Marfa to check out Fort Davis and the McDonald Observatory (attend a Star Party ASAP!). This adorable duplex's location is in the heart of downtown Marfa, directly across from the infamous Hotel Paisano. Given the hotel's location, we thought there would be a lot of noise, but if there was, it didn't make its way into the house. Street parking was available directly in front, and it was easy to get in and out. Everything is within walking distance, too. The interior was very welcoming and comfortable. Although the bed was firm (I usually opt for soft, fluffy mattresses), I slept amazingly. I especially liked all the pillow options in the bedroom and the floor-length mirror! The TV and internet both worked fine - no issues there. As for the shower, well, it's incredible. If you're claustrophobic, maybe don't turn on the steam because it gets THICK. The bathroom has a small stool, towel holder, and toiletry cart to put your stuff on. As someone who travels with their whole bathroom for some reason, I thought there was adequate space to put all of my stuff. All in all, the two of us will definitely stay here again the next time our travels bring us out to West Texas. Highly recommend!

We stay at many rental properties around the country, and this is one of our favorites due to its location, cleanliness, and comfort. The bed and pillows are comfortable and fitted with crisp, clean sheets and duvet. The rain shower is spacious and wonderful. The kitchen has every appliance imaginable for whatever way you like to make coffee. Everything works, everything is comfortable. It was my third stay at this property and I’ll definitely book it for my future Marfa visits.

The furnishings were high quality and comfortable. The steam shower was wonderful. Linens were luxurious and the kitchen had all the amenities. The location was ideal, just across the street from Jett’s Grill and many shops. Parking was easy and the host was quick to respond. Highly recommend the property and host!
