Ideally located in the charming village of Cala de Mijas, 25 minutes from Malaga airport and 18 km from Marbella, this large and comfortable villa of 2,20 m² excluding terraces, offers a large lounge - dining room - bar of 60 m2 , a fully equipped kitchen, 5 air-conditioned bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and a billiard room. You also have 3 large terraces with sea views, one with a large table facing the garden, one with a large barbecue and a large table, and one upstairs with sofa, fridge, table football and an open panoramic view on the sea and the surrounding area.
The 900 m² garden with Mediterranean vegetation is adorned with a large mosaic swimming pool, a tennis table, a small waterfall and pretty "azuleros" (painted ceramics). The villa is ideal for a large family or for stays with friends. The swimming pool has an automated treatment system for optimal hygiene. It is equipped with a motorized cover ensuring protection against falls and an optional heating system (price depending on season and duration) for use in any season.
A lot of new equipment have been recently installed: 55" Smart TV with all main channel in most languages, high speed fibre internet, multifunction oven, football table, Italian style showers, fully restored American pool table, large modern table on the front terrace with new seats, … and solar panels with heat pump to protect our climate.
Everything is at a walking distance: Within 350 m, a supermarket and quality restaurants open all year. At 500 m, the sandy beach "El Bombo" with its restaurants and seaside bars.
The property belongs to the urbanizacion de Torrenueva, a group of rather luxury villas and you will have your free private access to its tennis. It is in La Cala, a typical Andalusian at 1.3 km from the centre which can be reached by a walk along the beach or charming small streets with orange trees.
Nearby, within 20 km distance, you can enjoy many attractions such as karting, the water park and Bioparc de Fuengirola, Tivoli World, the Dolphinarium, the Benalmadena Aquarium, the Accrobranche de Marbella park, or take a walk in the famous white village of Mijas with his donkey taxi or the less known but perhaps even more authentic one of Benalmadena Pueblo.
Finally, happiness for golfers of any level, you are in the heart of the Costa del Golf, with nearly 50 courses for all levels, 12 of which are less than 10 km away.

Beautiful villa in an amazing location. We were disappointed there is no air conditioning in the kitchen or any living area as the listing states it’s air conditioned so we presumed that included the lounges, dining area and kitchen. The listing also says there is a hot tub, there isn’t which wasn’t a problem for us as only just noticed that! We booked it for the views and garden which did not disappoint though there is a problem with ants and mossies outside. The owners are amazing at communicating really useful information, ditto Emma the manager. Thank you both. Finally we treated ourselves to a private massage with Angel as recommended by Guy the owner. Absolute bliss.

8 Adults and 4 children aged 4 and under including a baby. The villa was perfect for our needs! The hosts checked out needs and left us a baby bath and a pushchair plus a couple of high chairs. We paid extra for the swimming pool to be heated and apart from a beach day the kids stayed in the pool practically all the time and have now got so much confidence in the water. The adults played pool and we had a dodgy table tennis tournament which was fun. We also used the tennis facilities and the BBQ. The week flew by too quickly!

The villa was spacious, well equipped for adults and a baby. The outside terraces were perfect for us as was the pool. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. It was a great place for a family holiday of 8 adults and a baby. Lovely place. No problems at all. Check in and out was stress free.

Everything about the villa was as stated in the advert. The check in / out was faultless and efficient. The pool was fabulous and there was everything supplied to keep the children and the adults happy. So many good things to say about our family holiday and not enough space to put it. Would most certainly recommend staying here.

Perfect for a Family Stay

We spanned 4 generations and found the house very suitable for our needs. We made great use of the heated pool, terraces and barbecue area. It was lovely to have the pool table too. The owners were very responsive and helpful and the local arrangements all went smoothly. I would strongly recommend for families with young kids and teenagers. Fine for older people too, as long as they’re okay with steps.

I visited Villa Aurelia in August with my family and this was the 2nd time we have stayed at the property. On arrival we found everything we expected from our first visit together with some additions. We were a party of 10 including 6 adults, 2 young adults , 1 teenager and 1 child. The villa is well situated, with no real need for a car. It is just 5 minutes walk from the lovely La Cala beach and has good supermarkets and restaurants close by. It is spacious with a large garden and has all the facilities to comfortably accommodate a party of 10. The pool, which can be heated, together with the pool table, football game, table tennis and good TV package kept the family entertained during our stay. An added bonus was the American style fridge freezer which provided an endless supply of chilled filtered water and ice cubes. We found travelling around the area very easy using Uber taxis. The weather was great and we had a very enjoyable relaxing holiday and would certainly visit again

A wonderful family villa

We had a wonderful family holiday. The owners were very easy to deal with. Brenda gave us all the info we needed and was very approachable if we needed anything during our stay. Our welcome pack was gratefully received in particular the birthday cake for our son's birthday! The house had everything we needed for our holiday. The ping pong table went down a treat! Beautiful spot to celebrate the holidays!

Our family had a wonderful week at the house over Christmas. Guy was incredibly helpful and responsive prior to our travels, and Emma was very helpful with check in. It was a great size for 3 adults and 4 teens. It is a short walk down to the beach and into town— perfect for teen independence. There is also a tennis court down the street and racquets at the house available to use. We were also glad that we paid to have the pool heated for the week— lots of fun for all! This is lovely neighborhood and also very easy to get around. We had a rental car and did day trips to El Torcal, Ronda, Marbella and Malaga. We would highly recommend this home! Thanks for a great week!

Amazing break in a lovely villa with sea view

10 adults and 2 children stayed at the wonderful villa. 10 - 15 minutes walk to supermarkets and bars/restaurants. The villa itself had loads of space. Bedrooms and social areas were of a nice size. 2 terraces to eat/barbecue outside plus big table to eat in if you wish. Lovely big pool with beds and cushions for a day spent at the villa. Communication with the property manager (Emma) was great and always prompt responses to questions we had. Would definitely return.

Superb Villa in great location

Villa was perfect for our family holiday. Our party of 6 adults and 5 children (aged between 10 weeks and 11 years) enjoyed the local area, facilities, entertainment (TV with large range of channels, pool, table tennis and football tables). The swimming pool which we had heated, became the centre piece of our holiday. We did walk (10 mins) to the beach and restaurants on a couple of occasions but we enjoyed dinners on the patio area in the evenings, overlooking the lovely gardens. All the equipment worked as you would expect and we always knew the management (Emma) were close by if we needed anything. The villa was everything we expected and we are planning our next visit.

Fabulous Quality Villa -Fantastic for Families

The Villa is beautiful, spacious and very well equipped and even better than the photos. The pool and garden area are fabulous, a cupboard full of garden and pool toys for youngsters and having the pool heated in early May was the best decision and well worth the cost. The owners Guy and Aurelia from the time of booking, before and during our stay were available for information and any help needed. Excellent communication. Emma, the Property Manager was also readily available and happy to help and we very much appreciated the early check in due to the early departure of the previous guests. There was not one thing that we needed that wasn't in the Villa and it is so spacious on the 2 levels, that it never felt like we were tripping over each other. Great views from all the balconies and terraces and so sun all day long but plenty of shade too if you are not a sun worshipper. The garden area is very well maintained and a great space for children when they are not in the pool. Good location, 5 minutes to the beach and a variety of restaurants. Highly recommend - book it now - you will not be disappointed.

Paradise!

We are one family- six adults and four children- spanning three generations! The Villa was superb for our requirements- many precious memories made! It is welcoming and lovely inside.We also felt very safe and secure there.There was plenty space for us all and we enjoyed using the three lovely terraces. The garden is magnificent and beautifully lit up at night. The pool is immaculate and because we had it heated, we were able to use it a lot- the heating was particularly beneficial for the young children. The beach and promenade were a short walk away and there were plenty of facilities. We found the bakery (coffee shop) and would highly recommend it! We all hope we can revisit this super house in the future.

May half-term stay

Superb stay. The villa is as described, with beautiful sea views from both the ground and first-floor terraces. Particular stand-out aspects are the external grounds: it makes a real difference having a large green area in addition to the pool, and contributes to the tranquillity of the property which is located on an extremely quiet street. The other key feature is the 5 minute walk to the beach, shops and restaurants which means a car is not necessary. Mijas is a beautiful area, with loads of choice all within walking distance. The villa is spacious and well-equipped and is suitable for all ages. The owners have been engaged and available throughout our stay, offering helpful tips about the property and area. Credit also to Emma the property manager who was very conscientious and responsive. A wonderful family stay recommended to anyone. Thank you

A lovely Villa with beautiful garden and in a great location

My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Villa Aurelia, shared with our daughter, son in law and grandchildren aged 11 and 6. The villa is spacious and very well equipped with a beautiful garden and heated pool. The location is great, just a few minutes from the beautiful El Bombo beach and with a supermarket and restaurants nearby. We got 10% discount from the Sardinian restaurant when they found out we were staying at the Villa. We all enjoyed the heated pool, particularly our grandchildren, and the pool table and table tennis resulted in us never turning on the television. The weather was great and the villa has plenty of sun beds together with parasols for those wanting shade. Our thanks to Brenda for her help when we needed it. Stunningly beautiful villa for a unforgettable family holiday.

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in this beautiful villa. Transfers by minibus, as recommended by Guy, were excellent. The villa is situated in a quiet, peaceful area a short distance from the beach, restaurants and supermarket. Inside there is everything you could want or need and all spotlessly clean. With 3 children aged 1, 2 and 4, we were delighted to have the stair gates, bed guard and travel cot. Very child friendly. Extremely comfortable beds and AC in bedrooms was very welcome. The decor throughout is very tasteful and interesting which I think reflects the personalities of the owners, Guy and Aurelia! Views from the upper terrace are really lovely of the sea and gorgeous garden, which is beautifully lite at night. Absolutely magical! The pool is magnificent, very private and is heated to the perfect temperature. We spent most of our time there and the children just loved it. There is a light in the pool which we used for evening swims. Outside eating and barbecue was great fun. Teresa was lovely, very friendly and helpful and thanks to Alberto for his assistance. This villa exceeded our expectations and was magnificent beyond our dreams! We would like to thank Guy and Aurelia, who were always only a phone call away, for sharing their wonderful home with us. Special memories of a very happy, happy holiday. Merci beaucoup tous les deux.

Lovely Villa but certain areas need updating .

Lovely pool area and garden.Great location near to beach,restaurants and supermarket.Villa very spacious with great areas for families i.e pool table,football table game and ping pong table.The BBQ area with table and chairs also excellent .However there were certain aspects we were not happy with; All bathrooms need updating -there was mould in every bathroom/en suite!.There was no air-conditioning in the lounge/kitchen area. All the bedding,sheets.pillows etc were terrible-they need to be discarded and replaced with better quality bed linen. Similar complaint for beach towels-even the children noticed how bad they were. All the outside furniture(apart from BBQ are)need to be replaced.Some of the chairs were broken,the table apart from being too small has seen better days.The mattresses for the sunbeds also need replacing.We paid a lot for this villa and although we did enjoy our holiday we did not think we had value for our money. Emma was amazing and was always at the end of the phone to answer our questions.The Welcome Pack was very useful. Last tip - DO NOT USE SUNTRANSFERS as recommended by the owners-They left us stranded on arrival and we ended up having to book our own Taxi’s.
